Demonic Pornstar System-Chapter 233: Let’s Party!
"Let’s party!"
The Astral Spear Volley rained down on their enemies without mercy.
Each shimmering spear whistled through the crypt’s stale air before slamming into the ranks of incoming thralls.
Starved bodies burst apart like overripe fruit under the precise impacts.
One fell.
Then two.
Then six.
But the wave didn’t stop.
Dozens more rushed forward.
Kaiden’s eyes scanned the chaos as cold logic clicked into place behind glowing eyes. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
"According to our research, thralls shouldn’t be able to exist without their masters. The vampire nobles are sustaining their existence. If we manage to kill the nobles, we kill the source."
Bastet narrowed her feline eyes. Her palms were still burning with solar radiance.
"I might hate the undead with a burning passion, but from the way that vampire wife snarled at me, I’d say the feeling is mutual."
She raised one blazing hand, the heat shimmering in the air.
"My powers... I think they’re their natural counter. We should-"
"Awww, did you think we’d let you have a nice strategy meeting?"
A feminine voice dripped with mockery from the left.
"Little Dawnbringer children. Always so naive."
Another voice came from the right.
"You’re prey. There’s no room for planning on the plate. Isn’t that right, husband~?"
"I didn’t think you three would play with your food, considering how hungry you are..." the male vampire chuckled.
In response, the vampire wives laughed in harmony.
Then, all at once, every single member of the horde moved.
Dozens of thralls screeched and charged forward from multiple angles, claws scraping against stone, red eyes gleaming with madness.
The wives didn’t join in, but circled the outer edges of the fight, gliding between broken pillars and shattered crypt walls like shadows. Watching, waiting, and looking for an opening, using their minions as collateral.
Kaiden’s jaw clenched.
He wanted to target the vampires directly, cut off the heads of the beast, but he hesitated.
His girls weren’t tanks. They weren’t built to endure wave after wave of incoming hostiles, especially considering the vampires likely had ranged attacks.
A single mistake from one of them, and it could end in tragedy.
Aria, Luna, Nyx... Bastet. None of them were as good at front-lining as he was.
The pressure of leadership weighed on him heavier than ever before in this moment.
He felt it in his bones, in the silent split-second where choices had to be made.
One misstep and he could lose everything.
And in that moment of crushing weight... a memory rose.
Aria.
Tears.
Anger.
"We might not be very strong right now, but we’re not just your girlfriends, Kaiden. We agreed to become your Valkyries so that we could stand by your side through thick and thin. We want to be there for you when you face grave peril, not just when everything is sailing smoothly. If you just want girlfriends to have fun cooking and easy dungeon streams with, then I-"
Her pained voice echoed through his soul.
She wasn’t the only one who felt that way.
All three of them had.
And he realized with a cold, hard certainty...
He was doing it again.
He had forgotten the truth of their bond.
The Paragon of Sin didn’t lead a group of maidens to be protected.
He stood shoulder to shoulder with warriors, women who’d walk through hell for him...
Just as he would for them.
He exhaled.
And made his decision.
"Girls!" he shouted, voice cutting through the battlefield even as the horde was screeching from the depths of their throats.
"The husband leads the wives as if they were a lion pack. That much is clear."
His gaze locked onto the original vampire noble.
"If I kill him, maybe the others lose control..."
"I’ll kill the husband."
"Can you hold them off until I do?"
There was no hesitation.
"Hold them off? So you can have a heroic moment of saving us in the last second?" Luna scoffed as her eyes began sparking with electricity.
"Screw that, I’m slaying these bitches myself."
She clenched her fist, and the storm answered her declaration.
[Storm’s Frenzy] activated with a roar of wind and lightning, her form becoming a blur as her attack speed increased drastically. It was a self-buff that the Storm Valkyrie could cast on herself.
And then she dropped [Static Field], a crackling dome of storm energy that electrified the very air in front of her.
The wave of thralls didn’t care one bit and pushed through the barrier. As a result, they were instantly slowed with their skin blistering from arcs of chained lightning.
Luna danced between them like a Valkyrie possessed, slicing and whirling her [Stormblade], each strike faster than the last.
"I agree with the Gremlin, Master," Bastet said with a sultry tone and an eerie calm, despite the chaos.
She snapped her fingers and [Solar Empress’s Oasis] bloomed into existence.
A radiant mirage spread across the broken ground. The vampires’ thralls who wandered inside stumbled as their reflexes dulled and senses blurred. Meanwhile, Kaiden’s allies felt strength return to their limbs as mana and stamina gently trickled back into their bodies.
Before the mirage could fade, Bastet raised her palm toward the horde of thralls.
"Let’s thin the herd before we go after the masters. [Sunlance]!"
A beam of condensed solar fury tore through the horde, vaporizing a line of undead. Their charred forms didn’t even get the chance to scream in agony.
"It’s a strange feeling I don’t quite understand myself..." Aria murmured as light spiraled around her staff.
"But I’m not afraid to face death. Go, Kai. We’ll do what has to be done."
The air shimmered around her as [Celestial Pulse] activated, a self-buff that made each glowing bolt she launched leave behind suspended orbs of radiant energy. To maximize the Celestial Pulse generation, she used [Crescent Volley] to summon a machinegun fire of bolts.
As the pulses floated in eerie silence in the air, she channeled her next spell.
"[Lunar Collapse]!"
A silver comet fired from her staff and slammed into the center of the battlefield. The impact detonated with a flash, pulling undead toward it in a gravitational swirl of arcane energy.
Just as they reached the center...
