Demonic Skeleton God-Chapter 75: True intentions of Flor
Chapter 75: True intentions of Flor
Itai soon arrived at the statue of the Emperor of Light, where Flor was already waiting for him.
They greeted each other and chatted for a while. "Do you like the Empire of Light? You can tell me the truth, I honestly don’t like it that much."
Itai was surprised by this question. He expected Flor to be fond of the Empire of Light—after all, it was only thanks to it that he even existed.
"Honestly, I don’t really care about the Empire of Light. I wouldn’t want to live here for the rest of my life, but I also don’t urgently want to leave." Itai answered truthfully.
"I think I understand what kind of person you are. You want to become the strongest mage," said Flor.
Itai’s eyes widened when he heard that. How did he know? Itai wanted to become the strongest necromancer, but a necromancer is basically a mage.
"Well, probably the strongest necromancer," Flor whispered to Itai.
When Itai heard that, his eyes widened even more. He stepped back from Flor and, from nervousness, fell to the ground.
Flor extended his hand to Itai. "Join me. I’ll help you achieve that goal," he said.
Itai was extremely nervous. How the hell did he know he was a necromancer? Itai was sure he hadn’t given away even the slightest hint that he could be a necromancer.
Itai accepted his hand. "Are you going to kill me?" he asked directly.
"Kill you? Of course not, that would be a huge waste and a stupid move," said Flor with a smile.
"Back when I heard there was an A-rank talent adventurer who didn’t join the army, it sparked my interest. When I met you and found out you had the strongest affinity for necrotic mana... I analyzed you for an entire month and concluded that you are perfect," Flor whispered.
"How did you find out I was a necromancer?" Itai asked after a moment.
"Simple. As soon as I sensed Zheren, I knew he was a Bone Guardian. His footsteps are far too light for his size, and his inability to speak only confirmed it. That’s why I didn’t want him to come to my home—someone might have noticed these inconsistencies."
"I’m not so stupid as to confuse necrotic mana with darkness mana, but it would’ve been uncomfortable in that moment if you had known that I knew you had the strongest affinity for necrotic mana," said Flor, and the smile on his face widened even more.
"Will you join me?" Flor finally asked.
"And what exactly am I joining you in?" Itai asked.
"It’s simple—right now I’m in a great position. I’ll kill the head of the family and take their place. The head of the family can give orders that every family member must obey, even something like attacking the Emperor of Light. Plus, we’ll have your undeath army," said Flor, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
"We’ll wage war against the Empire of Light , and I’ll kill the Emperor of Light with my own hands and become the new Emperor. You, as my right hand, will be by my side—the strongest necromancer. But that’s the future," said Flor, and his eyes returned to Itai.
"Will you join me?" he asked.
Itai didn’t know what to think about it. Flor had probably been his best friend over the past month. If Flain didn’t exist, he definitely would have accepted.
But Itai was already with Flain and had no intention of changing that. He was now considering whether he should tell Flor about Flain. In the end, he decided to tell him—of course, nothing about his immortality or anything like that. He would simply lead him to Flain and let Flain decide.
"I have a partner, and I won’t accept without him," said Itai.
"A partner, huh? What Stage and talent does he have?" asked Flor.
Itai knew that undead inherited the talent of their necromancer. Flain always shared the information he learned from the system with Itai—naturally, only what he wanted to share. The fact that undead inherited the talent of their necromancer wasn’t exactly something Flain would want to keep hidden.
"Well, he has talent A and is Peak Stage 2," said Itai.
"Interesting. Take me to him," said Flor. Another A-talent not under the Empire of Light was an enormous stroke of luck.

Four hours had passed since the cocoon formed around Flain. He had already uploaded his consciousness and lightly struck the cocoon, which shattered into dust.
Flain’s body had become slimmer and now stood two meters tall. Many new bones had appeared across his body, but most importantly, a long, one-meter-wide bony tail with a sharp spine at the end extended from his back.

An incredible wave of sweet warmth surged through Flain’s body. "I almost forgot what this amazing feeling was like," he muttered.
Flain writhed in the overwhelming sensation, enjoying every second, every millisecond. freёnovelkiss.com
"Hey, now’s not the time to go insane with obsession," Ghosty’s voice rang out from the wall.
"What do you want?" Flain asked, barely registering him.
"Itai is heading to the villa with some random guy," said Ghosty.
Flain immediately focused and retracted his tail back into his body. His mind began spinning at full speed—who was it? Was this a trap?
Flain didn’t know the exact range of his ability to sense ME, but he assumed someone with at least noble status would be sent after him. And if that person sensed him, Flain would have a hard time escaping—such a person would likely be much faster than him.
Flain was deep in thought, but then he sensed his magic energy entering the villa. Advanced Stage 3? That’s rather low—he’s currently on the same Stage as him.
It was already too late to escape. If Flain sensed his ME, then the person must have sensed Flain too...
