"I made all your favorite dishes today, with noodles as the main course. How about it?" Gu Qingxin asked him while holding his hand as they walked.

"Okay, thank you for your hard work."

"It’s no trouble, as long as you like it." Gu Qingxin forced a smile.

The two of them sat down in the dining room, and Gu Qingxin served him some dishes. Although Beiming Han’s stomach pain was excruciating, he still picked up his chopsticks and consumed everything she served him.

Seeing that he was barely eating, Gu Qingxin asked him uneasily, "What’s wrong? Is my cooking not to your taste?"

Beiming Han looked up and shook his head, "No, it’s especially delicious."

After speaking, he picked up a couple of bites of food and continued eating from his small plate.

Gu Qingxin hoped he would eat a bit more because this meal would be the last dinner she cooked for him.

Seeing her eyes full of expectation mixed with some disappointment, Beiming Han tried hard to eat, even though he was on the verge of unbearable pain, mechanically putting the food into his mouth.

The noodles were made by Aunt Zhou at Gu Qingxin’s request, and she specifically had Aunt Zhou serve Beiming Han a large bowl.

He finished everything, even though each bite felt torturous for him, because it was made by her, he ate it all.

After eating, he stood up and said, "Xin’er, remember to take your medicine later, I need to go out for a while."

"Where are you going?" Gu Qingxin also stood up, wondering what kind of matter required him to leave so suddenly and hurriedly.

"There is something urgent I need to handle, but don’t worry, I’ll be back soon." Beiming Han lightly touched her face, then quickly left the dining room.
