Like all forms of cultivation, climbing in power or level was never easy. It only got harder. Green to yellow was the easiest. And if a person had reached blue or red, they were considered to be successful... But purple... Was on another league of power on its own.

After all, after purple was gold. It is said that not even those little gods of ’The Mountain’ were of gold rank Gold rank was the qualification that pushed a person on the path of power in the realm of stars.

Meaning that one needed to have a gold realm soul for them to be able to enter the Star realm. And the closest thing to the Gold was purple.

Just seeing that Scholar Zobo had achieved such a realm brought praises from the audience all around. Even the guards and the priests all had an acknowledging look in their eyes. The reason for this was because high soul levels were respected everywhere in the world, but this city more than most.

According to the religion here, It is said that one’s magic is the biggest hinderance for their ability to communicate with the One Above All, who in his pure form, is of the soul, perfect in his make.

For one to be perfect, he needed to be perfect in the soul. Such a person needed the cultivation of a soul. They were some that said and could prove that cultivating a soul was harder than trying to increase one’s body cultivation.

As Such, there was reverence.

The moment that Scholar Zobo appeared in his soul form, even the parasite was attracted by this. It screaked to the sky in excitement. It was like looking around for scrabs for food and then a buffet had been placed before his eyes.

Scholar Zobo on the other hand was not such a person that should be messed with.

His purple form hovered lightly in the hair. He looked nearly holy. He raised a hand to the Parasite. "OBEY!" Instantly, a radiation shot out of his body that instantly made the parasite to fall to the ground.

In his current form, killing such a parasite was an easy thing. But as earlier stated, the goal of the competition was not to kill the creature. rather, it was to make it submit.

A person of superior soul could exert their soul pressure and force one of a weaker soul. This parasite might have consumed Ten thousand souls, but there were all weak compared to itself.

In fact, one could argue that they were incredibly useless. All the souls that formed its body cried out for help. The torture on them was the torture on the parasite.

As it shrieked and wiggled on the ground, it was getting clearer that Scholar Zobo was winning. Just a little more and he was sure that the beast would conform to the might of his aura.

At such a time, someone interrupted. It was Prince Calcium.

"HOW DARE YOU SCHOLAR!!! this creature is my prey." He kicked against the ground and then he rose in the air. this was a physical attack. It was one that the scholar could easily reflect. Or wave a hand and the prince would be smacked away.

But he was heavily conflicted by this. The reason was because Prince Calcium was of the Royal House Of Kalu. The power of that family could not be underestimated. Even If he won here, Prince calcium could still decide to later come for him.

And As much as the scholar might not want to admit it, he knew that it was true that if Prince Calcium wanted to get rid of him, all he had to do was compensate teh Destruction royal family handsomely.

After all, ’let no man deceive himself that they be no price on his head.’ He was a scholar and this was a phrase that was well known by his profession.

However, at the same time he hated the idea. But he had to let it be. If he caused harm to the prince, then he would be gone for sure.

But he could see that if he tried to dodge the punch coming for him, this battle inexperienced prince will fall right into the mouth of the beast beneath them.

For a second, his mind raced. But there was no two ways about it. He would let the punch land, after which he would use his power to hold The prince down while he continued with the pressure on the Parasite, until it gave up.

*SMACK!*

The hit landed. Pushing the Scholar a bit. But that little bit eased up the pressure on the parasite and in getting that little release, the parasite took advantage of it. Its mouth opened with as two spear like tongues shot for The Scholar and the prince.

A particular unknown substance was sprayed on them.

This substance worked fast. Both of them fell to the ground.

All of a sudden, the scholar noticed that he could not move. He looked to himself, his soul form looked corrupted. Prince Calcium was similarly affected.

However, he could at least move a bit as the poison had to go through his body before affecting his soul.

But The scholar had his soul exposed in its purest form and had taken that attack head on. And that was quite literally.

This was the poison that the Parasite used to weaken souls before preying on them.

Both men had fallen to the ground. Even the mighty purple soul had not expected such an attack and in his pure soul form, he had been very vulnerable.

The parasite rolled around the normal way it did, its skin changed with the one within its body so that it would heal up the parts that had been damaged by the scholar.

"You fool!" the scholar bellowed at the Prince. "You have left us vulnerable to the creature."

The prince looked on. The creature approached them, snaking arcoss the ground but some how, the multiple limbs on his body also made it look like it was crawling over.

The guards of the prince that were watching could not help but scream. One of them even ran up to the priest with his spear to the Priest’s neck, insisting that the competition be stopped immediately. But the priest did not even look his way.

"Stop it now. Or I’ll turn you into sleeves!!!" He screamed again and again, but the priest only had his eyes on the competition.

The Guard gritted his teeth and he screamed as he attacked. But then he noticed that the spear could not move. He looked behind. There, one of the city guards stood behind him, holding the spear in place.

Fear came over him and he backed off hurriedly, even falling on the ground as he did.

Meanwhile, the parasite had finally reached its preys. Its huge mouth opened wide to consume them, and the fear in their eyes was obvious.

At such a time, from the opened mouth of the beast, a face appeared. "BOO!!!"

The prince was so scared that he urinated on himself. Then again, his life just flashed before his eyes.

"Hey guys! how does it feel to be tamed instead?" Enel chuckled.

Everyone paused.

Allison had dropped down in tears when Enel had been swallowed. She had a special connection beyond the physical to her mate. But the sight of him being swallowed had taken her by surprise, and she could not help but feel her world crashing down.

However, only a while later, she could still feel the connection, and although tears still fell from her eyes, her focus was directly on the parasite. After all, she could feel something resisting the idea of his death deep within herself.

And now, he was showing up right in the mouth of the beast.

Effortlessly, Enel leaped out of the creature’s mouth. His clothes had been melted off and he was there, standing in his nude.

Whether it was the sight of him being alive or in the nude... All of it was incredible. And then he patted the Parasite. Its multiple hands reaching to stroke Enel’s body affectionately.

"Okay... you can go back now!"

The parasite nodded in acknowledgement and then crawled away returning to its cage.

Everyone still looked at him stunned.

There was at least a thousand questions on everybody’s mind. This included Allison and Commander Marian.

"How... how did you!?" The Scholar stammered as he spoke.

Enel smirked as he raised a hand his lips... *SHUSH!* "it is a secret."

The priest suddenly walked forward, "we have a winner!"

Only when this declaration was made did the crowd run wild in joy of his victory. Enel did not know them, but for some reason, his come back was incredibly relatable.

Everyone still wanted to know how he did it. But there never will.

Then again, it was not at all hard for Enel. After all...
