Devoted Love:The Billionaire's Precious Wife-Chapter 783 - 784
Chapter 783: Chapter 784
"No worries, what are friends for!" chirped the girl with the pixie cut. Her long-haired bestie had just handed Rosemary a pair of glowing bunny ear headbands before taking off. She glanced back at Rosemary with a mix of shyness and admiration, not holding back her praise. "You look absolutely stunning, this is for you."
Rosemary watched the two girls dash away, slightly bemused as she held the glowing headgear in her hands.
"My fiancée is not only a magnet for the guys but the gals can’t get enough of her either." Romeo said with a chuckle, helping her put on the headband.
She was naturally cool and ethereal, but with the bunny ears, she suddenly embodied a playful charm.
"Gorgeous," Romeo said, pulling out his phone and opening up the camera app. "Take a look."
Rosemary caught her reflection in the camera lens and couldn’t help but notice how she looked like a devoted fan, a stark contrast to her usual self.
"Let’s snap a few selfies," Romeo said, wrapping an arm around her affectionately as they took a series of couple’s photos.
In the background of their pictures, the massive screen featuring David became their impromptu backdrop.
After the photo session, Romeo quickly set his favorite picture as his new screensaver, then took Rosemary by the hand to find their seats.
They scored spots right in front of the center stage, with a completely unobstructed view – it was undoubtedly the best in the house.
As the venue filled up with more fans, people began to take their seats behind them.
"Holy smokes, aren’t you that girl.? The one David sent concert tickets to!" exclaimed a voice from behind Rosemary.
A girl in a black puffer jacket was pointing excitedly at a woman in a white coat seated behind Rosemary.
"It’s you, right?"
With a serene smile, the woman in the white coat replied, "Yes, that’s me."
"What’s the story here? David actually sent you concert tickets?" a few fans asked, their curiosity piqued.
Still smiling, the woman in the white coat shared her tale, "I had a serious illness not too long ago, ended up in the ICU. The doctors weren’t sure I’d make it. My biggest regret at that time was never
having seen David live in concert. My mom, without telling me, got in touch with David’s management team. As many of you know, David visited me in the hospital, lifted my spirits, and he even left my
home address, promising to send me two tickets for the opening night of his world tour – one for me and one for my mom."
"And this lovely lady is your mom? She looks so young." Many fans greeted the woman’s mother, marveling at her youthful appearance, and added, "David’s such a sweetheart. Not only did he visit you
privately, but he also sent tickets, and such amazing seats too."
"Yes, when he visited, he autographed a bunch of stuff for me, took photos, and wrote me a lengthy message of encouragement. I’ve had that message as my phone wallpaper for a year now." The
woman in the white coat pulled out her phone, showing off the handwritten note from David.
"It was his encouragement that saw me through the darkest days of my life." The girl in the white coat spoke with a lingering sense of gratitude.
"He’s a good soul, you know," her mother chimed in, her eyes glistening with tears. "We were having a rough time financially, and he went ahead and covered the surgery costs, easing our burdens. I never
used to be into celebs, but now I’m all for my daughter fangirling over him. Heck, I’m on board too."
"Hey, we sure picked the right guy! Things are looking up now, no need for tears, you should be happy!"
"His handwriting is so neat! Can you send me that quote? I wanna make it my screensaver."
"Me too, me too!"
"David’s always been a stand-up guy," a long-haired girl interjected. "Remember last Christmas, when we went back to our hometown and there was this massive flood? Water filled up the first three floors
of our building, and we were stranded on the rooftop, waiting for help. It was terrifying, and out of nowhere, we saw these volunteers in a lifeboat paddling towards us. My legs were jelly, I could barely stand, and this volunteer came over to carry me. He’s got a hat, a mask on, but I look into his eyes and no way—it’s David! I was so stunned, I started crying. He didn’t know I recognized him, still speaking
in the kindest voice, telling me not to be afraid. I fell for him harder at that moment."
A girl with a ponytail picked up the story, "Yeah, when David got snapped doing relief work, some people accused him of just showing off. Please, who would wear a hat and mask, blend in with volunteers, and put on a show for three days straight?"
She had a point, having been a volunteer herself. "I didn’t follow any stars back then, but seeing him tirelessly rescuing people and delivering supplies, wading through the water with us, pulling boats, water up to his knees and he didn’t care. I thought, ’This guy’s got focus and looks to boot.’ Never would have guessed he was famous. That’s when I fell for him."
The ponytailed girl seemed lost in the memory, her emotions palpable.
"He’s a top-tier celeb, juggling a packed schedule—acting, variety shows, music, dance rehearsals, events. And still, he finds time for charity. Such a good person, and people doubt his intentions!"
"I was there, you know. Some stars just drop off supplies and pose for the camera. Not David. He genuinely didn’t want recognition, just wanted to help. He’s so humble and kindhearted."
Many were moved by his actions, voicing their admiration.
A girl with a short haircut added, "David’s truly one of a kind. After my parents died in a car crash, I was ready to leave this world. The night I made up my mind, I sent David a private message, telling him I
was going and wishing him the best. I remember clearly, it was 4:14 AM, and David instantly replied."
The fans were stunned—David was up at that hour, responding to a fan’s message.
"He must have checked my Twitter, commented on how nice my clothes designs were, and asked why I’d stopped designing. He said he was looking forward to wearing something I created one day. He asked if I wasn’t planning to stick with him through his career, that he’d be around for many more years, and he wanted me around too."
Tears welled up in the eyes of many fans.
"He said so much to lift my spirits, insisting I had to keep living. He even sang to me, sent voice messages, singing this unreleased song called ’Courage’, written for his fans. It’s his words that night,
his song, that pulled me through."
Rosemary, sitting in the front, hadn’t realized David was so kind and caring behind the scenes to do so much without ever boasting.
Listening to all this, Rosemary felt it was incredibly heartwarming.
