Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100-Chapter 1510: Max Coming Out!
"Now you can go," the old man said calmly as his transparent figure began to fade slowly into the air. His form flickered like a faint shadow dissolving into light, yet his gaze remained firmly fixed on Max.
Before his presence completely vanished, he spoke one final sentence.
"Remember this clearly. Whatever happened on the hundredth floor must remain a secret."
Max nodded silently. He understood the meaning behind those words. The knowledge of the Overlord Body Codex, the existence of the second tower, and everything related to Saint Reiner’s inheritance could not be revealed carelessly.
The old man’s figure slowly dissolved into countless faint particles of light until nothing remained.
The chamber that had once felt alive with his presence suddenly became silent.
"Is this over?" Max muttered quietly as he let out a long breath.
Before he could think further, the surrounding space began to distort once again. A soft pulling sensation passed through his body as the tower itself transferred him out of the hidden chamber.
The next moment his figure disappeared from the hundredth floor of the Combat Legion Tower.
A brief flash of light appeared at the base of the tower.
When the light faded, Max was standing on the ground outside the tower once again.
For a moment there was complete silence among the crowd gathered around the projection platform. Many of the disciples and elders had still been staring at the darkened projection screens, trying to guess what might be happening inside the tower.
Then someone suddenly noticed the figure standing near the tower.
"Look! Max appeared outside the tower!"
The shout instantly drew everyone’s attention.
"He is back!"
The disciples immediately erupted into excited murmurs as they rushed their gaze toward the entrance of the tower.
"So the trial has finally ended?"
"What happened after the projections turned black?" 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
"Did he pass the last floor?"
The crowd quickly filled with speculation.
Since the projections had been cut off before they could witness what happened inside the tower, everyone was extremely curious about the outcome of Max’s trial.
Some disciples even began forming their own conclusions.
"Max is truly the greatest genius of the Black Dragon Clan," one of them said excitedly. "I guess the tower simply did not want us to see his performance on the hundredth floor."
"That must be it," another disciple agreed quickly. "Otherwise why would the tower spirit block the projections at that exact moment?"
The elders and the seven family heads were also staring at Max with intense expressions.
Mathew Grimes was the first among them to react. His eyes shone brightly as he looked at Max standing safely outside the tower. The moment he saw him appear, a deep sense of relief and excitement surged through his heart.
"He came out," Mathew said quietly as a smile appeared on his face. "That means the trial has ended."
Victor Veron and the other family heads also exchanged glances with each other.
Although none of them could see what happened inside the tower after the projections went dark, the mere fact that Max had returned safely already spoke volumes about his success.
Even Elder Joe was staring at Max with an unusually serious expression.
For someone who had witnessed countless geniuses throughout his life, the performance Max had shown today had completely overturned his expectations. The young man had not only shattered the long standing record of the Black Dragon Clan but had also reached heights that even the disciples of Violet Star Palace had never achieved.
Joe slowly let out a breath as he watched Max.
"That kid..." he muttered quietly.
A faint smile gradually appeared on his face.
"He truly is extraordinary."
Max ignored the excited murmurs and countless voices rising around him. The moment he stepped out of the Combat Legion Tower, he did not bother answering the disciples who were trying to call out to him or the elders who were watching him closely. Instead he walked calmly across the open ground until he arrived before Lady Virelia.
"You did good," Lady Virelia said with a warm smile as she looked at him.
Max returned the smile and gave a small nod. He did not say much. The trial inside the tower had been far more complicated than anyone outside could imagine. Although he appeared calm on the surface, his mind was still processing everything that had happened on the hundredth floor.
As he stood beside Lady Virelia, Max could clearly feel numerous gazes fixed on him. The disciples from the Black Dragon Clan, especially the direct disciples belonging to the seven major families, were staring at him with complicated expressions. Some of those gazes carried admiration while others were filled with disbelief.
Through the heightened perception of his Dimensional Sovereign Body, Max could even sense individuals who were observing him from a distance without moving their heads directly toward him.
Among them he noticed Lucia.
She was looking at him with a solemn expression, her gaze unusually focused.
’I did reach the hundredth floor,’ Max thought quietly to himself. In the eyes of the others, the sudden disappearance of the projections had created an air of mystery around his final performance. Because of that, many of them probably believed that his achievement inside the tower had been even more extraordinary than what they had already witnessed.
Soon the Combat Legion Tower trial continued as the next participant stepped forward.
After Max, it was Zain’s turn.
Zain walked into the tower with a determined expression. The crowd once again focused their attention on the projection arrays as the tower began displaying his progress floor by floor.
His performance was impressive.
Zain advanced steadily through the tower, defeating one opponent after another as he climbed higher and higher. Eventually he managed to reach the ninety first floor, repeating the same milestone that Max had achieved earlier.
The moment he defeated the opponent guarding the ninety first floor, many of the disciples erupted into cheers.
However his journey stopped soon after.
When Zain entered the ninety second floor and faced the guardian there, the battle became extremely difficult. Although he fought fiercely and displayed extraordinary strength, he was ultimately unable to overcome the opponent.
Moments later his figure was expelled from the tower.
Despite the defeat, reaching the ninety second floor had already proven his exceptional talent.
After Zain, Isabella stepped forward.
The atmosphere around the trial grounds grew tense once again as everyone watched her attempt.
Isabella climbed through the floors with great skill and composure. Her progress was steady and powerful, demonstrating why she was considered one of the greatest geniuses of the Black Dragon Clan.
Eventually she reached the ninety first floor as well.
However unlike Max and Zain, Isabella was unable to defeat the guardian there. After a fierce battle she was ultimately forced out of the tower.
