Divine Awakening: My Game Drops Increase Infinitely-Chapter 126 : Mythical Skills (2)
He held the Death Sheet up and focused his energy. Instantly, he felt that familiar rush — the storm of critical energy flooding through him as the world shimmered in bright crimson light.

Axton watched as the black cloth twisted and burned in the air, reshaping itself. The aura around it changed drastically — growing darker, heavier, and infinitely more dangerous. The once silent shroud now emitted faint whispers, voices that sounded like those of the dead.
He could feel the power radiating from it — death energy so pure and potent that it sent chills up his spine.
Finally, the glow subsided.
Ding!

[Death Sheet (Unique) → Death Note (Legendary)]

[Death Note]
[Rank: Legendary]
[Level: 40]
[Skill: Absolute Demise]
…
[Skill: Absolute Demise]
[Rank: Mythical]
[Level: 1]
[Description: This skill grants instant death to targets below your level. Targets above your level will lose 0.5 HP every second. (Cooldown: 24 hours)]
[Drawbacks: Consumes 800 mana points. Requires at least level 40 to activate.]
Axton stared at the glowing golden text that floated before him, his eyes glimmering with interest as he read through them.
"Absolute Demise, huh…" he muttered under his breath, tracing his fingers through the holographic window as if the skill itself was tangible.
At first glance, the Absolute Demise skill reminded him too much of Death Decree — the terrifying skill Vorlic had used to instantly end lives like he had seen him do before. The similarities were undeniable — instant death, massive mana cost, limited use but inescapable.
Still, Axton couldn't bring himself to complain.
It was powerful. In fact, too powerful.
With this, anything weaker than him would simply… cease to exist. It would almost feel like his will granted instant death.
He wouldn't have to summon the Undead General or the Knight of Hell, or even waste mana using other skills to fight. One thought, one command… and death would follow.
The real beauty, however, wasn't in that instant kill effect. It was the part that affected enemies above his level.
That was the juicest part of the skill.
Even if his opponent was stronger, [Absolute Demise] would still take effect. To that category of enemies, the skill would give a steady, relentless drain of their HP every second. That was a hopeless situation that even Axton himself wouldn't want to be in… even by accident.
To constantly lose HP and be unable to do anything to stop it was hopeless.
"Half a point of health every second…" Axton murmured, smirking faintly. "Even for the most powerful beings, that's a nightmare."
As long as a person's HP was not infinite, this skill would eventually catch up with them. It would take only time but the end was definite.
The thought alone was enough to make him grin. In a prolonged battle, that constant drain would drive even the mightiest boss insane. He didn't need to do much. All he had to use was make sure that his skill was not stopped or cancelled by any means, and that was it.
The idea of forcing higher-level enemies to slowly crumble under a curse they couldn't dispel thrilled him. He was even more excited that he wouldn't be the one on the receiving end of such a broken ability.
"As expected of a Mythical-rank skill," he said proudly. "Defeating someone above my level won't be impossible anymore. Especially on one-on-one situations."
He clenched his fists, feeling the adrenaline course through his veins. The path ahead was finally getting exciting again.
He had come so far already — from struggling against low-level monsters to wielding mythical skills capable of death itself. It's been a long but satisfying journey for him. Even Axton couldn't believe how much he had improved since leaving Newbie Village #666.
Now, the only thing standing between him and total domination was the number beside his name.
It was his current level. But he needed to step up — up to level 40.
That was his next goal.
The faster he reached it, the sooner he could unleash these new powers.
"I didn't earn them just to admire them," he said with determination. "It's time to put them to use."
The glowing interface slowly faded from view, leaving Axton alone in a blinding white void — or at least, that was what it had been moments ago.
The brightness began to dim. The white gradually shifted into shades of gray, then into cracked stone and moss-covered walls.
When the light finally disappeared completely, Axton realized he was no longer in the same place.
He blinked a few times, looking around in confusion.
"…Where the hell am I?"
He was standing before a wide, ancient-looking passageway made of smooth black stone. A faint mist hovered near the floor, drifting lazily into the corridor ahead. The air here was colder, heavier, and reeked faintly of something metallic — blood, perhaps.
He didn't remember being here before Queen Lamia summoned him.
In fact, he didn't even recognize the place.
Then, why was he here?
How did he even get here?
'Did she teleport me somewhere else?' he wondered.
Slowly, fragments of memory began piecing themselves together.
Before disappearing, Queen Lamia had told him that she would guide him — show him the path to breaking the curse that plagued Anarnia.
Could this be what she meant?
Axton stepped closer to the passage. The mist parted slightly, and he could faintly hear whispers echoing from deep within the tunnel.
The sound wasn't exactly human, but it wasn't monstrous either. It was something in between — like a chorus of spirits murmuring secrets in a forgotten tongue.
Feeling confident, Axton's lips curved into a faint smile.
"Well, Lamia… I guess this is where your guidance begins."
He equipped his Bone Blade and the King Griffin Cloak as he stood there.
With his blade in hand and his cloak brushing lightly against the stone floor, he took his first step into the unknown corridor — the passage that would lead him deeper into Anarnia's cursed heart.
Whatever awaited him ahead, he was ready for it.
'Is this it?' Axton thought to himself.
He could almost feel Queen Lamia's presence watching him from somewhere unseen, urging him forward.
