Divine Emperor of Death-Chapter 3534 Divine Punishment Tribulation Returns
Ellia and the others turned shocked.
Just when they thought the Divine Punishment Tribulation had just begun forming, it started dispersing.
A tremendous amount of reincarnation energy burst forth from their mansion, extending far and wide. However, it was all seamless, practically invisible, and couldn't even be sensed by anyone, not even by Saintess Lunaria.
However, there was one person who sensed it.
*Bang!~*
Davis and Myria were sent flying in the opposite direction as though they were repulsed by their own soul attraction.
Before the bed, a white-robed silhouette was present, appearing like they had just extended their hand and flicked their fingers as though they were the ones to separate them, causing the iridescent sea in the air to shudder and disperse.
However, the woman's eyes were as wide as saucers, appearing to be filled with the delicious soup called disbelief, unable to believe what these two had just conjured.
She was so stunned that she didn't seem to be bothered about Davis and Myria being naked, starting at the bed in shock without bothering about the two of them.
Davis raised his head, feeling extremely light-headed, and gasped heavily as though he had just returned from the maws of death.
He tried to look at Myria, who was on the other end of the room, but his vision was blocked by the bed, causing him to turn to look to the side and gaze at the World Master, who was staring ahead at the ridiculous remnant undulations above the bed disappearing, so he didn't know where to begin as his soul sense also seemed to be restricted.
However, he finally saw Myria stand up.
She seemed to have recovered earlier than him for unknown reasons- no, he knew exactly why she recovered faster than him, but he looked the other way, not wanting to talk about it.
As far as he knew, her soul tried to devour his, but Myria warned him in the mental realm, so all was fine. He deemed it wasn't a conscious action of hers to devour him, but her arrogant soul's.
However, the same couldn't be said about Myria, who was backing away from the wall and trying to get away from him in order not to harm him.
Her eyes were filled with tears, quickly pouring out. It drenched her face, and she kept trembling like a lone leaf in a storm.
Davis sighed.
His body felt so heavy. He couldn't move a muscle, but by clenching his teeth, he forced himself to stand up, slowly rising up. It took a few seconds before he felt his bodily functions returning a bit.
*Whoosh!~*
He traversed across the World Master's field of view rather slowly as he barely hovered, still naked and appeared before Myria who was trembling as she remained standing as she leaned on a furniture, her legs shaking and her expression quivering.
"Don't come near!"
She screamed out, although it sounded like a squeal, but Davis paid no heed, waving his hand as though he was going to beat her when a sheet appeared, allowing him to envelope her with it, protecting her sanctity first before he shot a gaze at the World Master who still stared at the remnant sea of reincarnation energy above the bed, still wide-eyed as though she had seen a ghost.
Davis couldn't help but smirk. He felt like he vaguely understood her emotions because he also knew what he had experienced just now. However, for the World Master to be surprised, he felt he had gained an achievement or something, making him feel prideful.
Why…?
Because the both of them formed a connection with the quadrillions of life in the First Haven World- no, probably even the Grand Beginnings Continent and even further. Besides, quadrillion was just an estimate and he couldn't fathom if it could be more yet the possibility didn't leave him.
He spent one-second thinking about it before he turned to look at his Myria, who was still hysterical. He raised his hands, holding her cheek.
"Come on, we know this would happen back when we first fought for real, and I told you we'll face it together."
Davis's expression turned excited as he pecked her lips, "We did it! We successfully overcame our attractive forces, stopping ourselves from getting devoured and even creating a reincarnation cycle- I mean, a mini-reincarnation cycle! It can't get better than this…!"
Davis talked slowly at Myria with a bright smile before he yelled out, trying to get out of her hysterical state.
He saw Myria's trembling eyes was slowly regaining focus. Even though she quivered in his hold, it was no longer as intense as before and she kept breathing heavily like a bird, constantly scanning him as though confirming that he was still alive.
Davis couldn't help but kiss her forehead again.
His soul functions returned, so he couldn't help but feel her terrified emotions with Heart Intent. She was more scared than him. He was getting devoured... but she was the one devouring him.
To him, it was understandable she went through a nightmare just now.
Perhaps, it was just like she said. Fallen Heaven passively did allow Myria to gain rebirth through Ellia so Myria could devour him back then.
If he crossed that vague destination in the mental realm, his consciousness truly might've been devoured by her, leaving behind a husk of a chaotic body.
Fortunately, even though his Everlasting Samsara Tribunal Soul Physique and Will was overwhelmed by her combination of the Eternal Life Soul Physique and Eternal Life Body Physique, his Chaotic Genesis Physique was too strong and burst out with an indomitable aura, allowing him to protect his own Will from getting devoured.
Nonetheless, he felt like someone was intruding on their intimate space, turning to look at the uninvited guest.
"World Master…"
Davis looked at the World Master, calling her out. She didn't turn to look at him, causing Davis to dress himself in an instant before he called out to her again.
However, she still appeared to be dumbstruck as she stared at the remnant sea swirling above the bed, the vestige of a mini-reincarnation cycle.
Davis narrowed his brows.
He held Myria's cheek with one hand and extended his hand with another, forming a Spear of Damnation instinctively before he threw it at the World Master.
*Rzzzzz~*
The reincarnation spear shot through the chamber instantly and looked as though it was going to pierce through the World Master, but it simply dispersed upon contact from the sharp blade to the end.
The World Master was finally shook out of her reverie as she turned to look at remnant energy of the spear. Her protective energy alone was enough to shatter anything that might try to harm her. However, she looked at it with the same wide gaze before moving her gaze to Davis.
"…"
Davis's heart shook, not because the World Master was staring at him but because of the prowess of the Spear of Damnation.
Even though he had half-heartedly conjured it, it was able to barely reach sixteen levels higher in prowess!
He couldn't help but stare at his palm before turning to look at Myria, watching his other hand's thumb touch her forehead. He could feel the life and death energy pouring out from her Eternal Life Soul, nurturing his own reincarnation energy which in turned birthed a monstrous prowess that made the both of them shocked beyond compare.
A few moments later, Davis heaved a sigh of disbelief, lightly shaking his head before he turned to look at the World Master, who was still staring at them.
"Sorry about that. I don't know what you did to help us, but still, you should leave if you're not kicking us out-"
"-give us some privacy and time to ponder."
He asked with a complicated gaze, still not knowing if she would still send them out.
The World Master stared at them.
Together, they had finally reached her level when she had reached the equivalent of the Immortal King Stage. They actually broke- no, corrupted the teleportation rune she etched on Davis, so she had to personally descend in order to break them off from ruining her universe.
However… this… the forbidden act they committed, actually brought forth...
The World Master remained silent before she nodded lightly and disappeared.
She said nothing from the start to the end, leaving Davis and Myria a bit worried. However, they looked at each other, still looking solemn.
"That feeling when we connected with the myriad of souls present in this universe… did we just plunder the authority of the reincarnation cycle for a brief time, almost inviting a divine punitive tribulation if it weren't for the World Master separating us at the last second…?"
"…"
Davis blinked as he heard Myria's speculation.
He was clueless, since all he could remember was connecting with the myriad of souls in tyrannical manner while also getting devoured by Myria's soul.
In fact, neither of them didn't knew the quadrillions of people in the World Master's universe just had an out-of-body experience.
Even Immortal Emperors weren't spared and neither was Saintess Lunaria who stood in her palace shocked as she looked in the direction of the Divine Emperor of Death's direction, wondering what was that just now as her gaze moved to and fro between the sealed Divergent Peak and his home.
She had no idea but faintly felt it had to do something with him.
At the same time, the other Guardians gathered before her, appearing solemn as though wondering if this was something they needed to deal with before it killed them all.
