Chapter 105: Chapter 105: Eavesdropping

Tristan Grayson was stunned to be so inexplicably yelled at by this woman. ’She’s getting bolder and bolder,’ he thought. ’How dare she yell at me? I was just trying to show some concern, and she repays me by rejecting my kindness?’

This realization made Tristan Grayson so angry he stormed out of the room. If she was going to be so ungrateful, why should he bother caring about her? For all he cared, she could puke herself to death.

However, when Tristan Grayson walked out and saw the mess on the living room coffee table, his entire expression darkened.

Two red wine bottles lay toppled on the table. One wasn’t empty, its contents still spilling out. As for the food, two of the dishes were clearly more than half-eaten.

’So that woman actually drank nearly two whole bottles of red wine by herself?’

This woman was driving him mad. ’Does she have to drive me to an early grave before she finally learns her place?’

He spun around furiously, went back into the bathroom, and scooped the woman up in his arms. He carried her straight into the shower, turned on the faucet, and blasted her with cold water from head to toe.

"AH! Tristan Grayson, what are you doing?!" Doused in cold water by Tristan, Mika Summers started shivering uncontrollably. Her face was pale as she glared up at him in fury.

Tristan had already switched the water to a warm temperature. He lifted a hand to grip her chin, his voice cold. "Sober up!"

"Tristan Grayson, you psycho! Get away from me!" She shoved him away with all her might and stumbled back a step, pressing against the tiled wall as she struggled to keep from collapsing.

’He was whispering sweet nothings to that other woman just moments ago, and now he’s touching me. It’s disgusting! Utterly disgusting!’

"You’re the one who’s gone crazy! Miss Summers, have I been too lenient with you today? Is that why you’ve gotten so brazen?!"

"Tristan Grayson, you bastard! Why do you whisper sweet nothings to that woman with one breath and refuse to let me go with the next? Can’t you just let me go? If you like her, then why are you still doing this to me?" Emboldened by her drunkenness, Mika Summers held nothing back.

Her words made Tristan’s fists clench tightly at his sides. "You were eavesdropping on my call?" ’So this is all because of Maggie Monroe? Suddenly, he found himself despising that phone call.’

"I wasn’t eavesdropping. I just wanted to call you for dinner. But you... you, Tristan Grayson, were cooing over another woman. Ha... I’m just that pathetic, aren’t I? You clearly don’t like me, and yet I still like you so much. Tristan Grayson, I’ve decided. From now on, I’m going to stop liking you. I’m never going to like you again..." Her heart ached terribly. She couldn’t stand it—him whispering sweet nothings to that woman while refusing to untangle himself from her.

This love triangle was driving her insane.

She slid down the wall into a crouch, letting the spray from the showerhead rain down on her.

Tristan couldn’t tell if she was crying or not. Her words just kept echoing in his mind: ’Tristan Grayson, I’ve decided. From now on, I’m going to stop liking you. I’m never going to like you again...’ 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

’No! That’s not allowed!’ She was his woman—Tristan Grayson’s woman. How could she not like him?

He reached down and yanked her up from the floor. Cupping her face in his hands, he forced her to look at him. "You have to like me! You’re not allowed to like anyone but me, Tristan Grayson!"
