For the first time in her life, Tiana Grayson found a courage she never knew she had. She shot to her feet, spun around, and glared angrily at the group of girls.

Her sudden movement was so jarring that the gossiping girls all turned to look at her in surprise. Then, a contemptuous smile crept onto each of their faces, and they began to mock her even more openly.

This heiress of the Grayson Family might have a better family background than any of them, but in class, she was usually too scared to even make a peep.

That was why they never bothered to hide what they were saying about her.

Hearing their words, Tiana Grayson raised a hand and pointed at them furiously. "What nonsense are you spouting! Amelia isn’t like that at all."

"Hahaha, me too! But you’ve misspoken, Miss Grayson. That bitch Amelia Avery is nothing but trouble. We’d advise you to stay away from people like her from now on." The girls all stood up, sneering, and advanced on Tiana Grayson.

Tiana Grayson forced herself to stand tall and said in a cold voice, "I won’t let you talk about Amelia like that!"

"You won’t let us? Heh, that’s hilarious. And who do you think you are to stop us?" one of the girls sneered, poking Tiana Grayson in the chest.

Another girl chimed in, her voice a sharp threat. "If you know what’s good for you, Miss Grayson, you’ll stay far away from Amelia Avery. Otherwise, you’ll have it coming!"

Surrounded and cornered by them, tears welled up in Tiana Grayson’s eyes, and her body began to tremble uncontrollably.

’I can’t be scared. I can’t be scared. If I’m scared, I lose. I’ll bring shame to the Grayson Family...’

"What the hell are you all doing? Get the fuck away from her!" a furious voice suddenly roared.

At the sound of the voice, the color drained from the girls’ faces as they turned toward the classroom door.

There stood Amelia Avery, backpack slung over one shoulder, glaring at them with pure fury.

"Amelia..." The moment Tiana Grayson saw her, the tears she had been holding back streamed down her face.

Amelia Avery strode over and pulled Tiana Grayson behind her, shielding her protectively. She raised an eyebrow. "Were they bullying you?"

"Heh, what are you talking about, Miss Avery? As if we’d dare bully Miss Grayson," one girl said with a nervous, fawning smile. "Isn’t that right, Miss Grayson?"

Hearing that cold, menacing tone, Tiana Grayson shivered violently again.

Amelia Avery felt Tiana’s fear, and her expression darkened dangerously. "Tiana, take a few steps back."

Though Tiana Grayson didn’t know why, she nodded and took two steps back.

Amelia Avery casually tossed her backpack aside. She cracked her knuckles and flashed a wicked grin at the girl who had just spoken.

"Amelia Avery, are you fucking crazy?! You hit me!" the girl shrieked, clutching her stomach.

Amelia Avery let out a cold laugh. "I’m not just going to hit you, I’m going to beat the shit out of you!" With that, she grabbed the other two girls by the hair, yanked down hard, and shoved them to the floor.

"AHHH—" The entire classroom was filled with the screams of the three girls.
