Do Not Speak Ill of My Mother!-Chapter 663 - 607: Buying a House
The car sped all the way and soon arrived at the Beijing International Airport T3 Terminal.
As soon as Yan Yueqing reached the B entrance of international arrivals, she immediately spotted that beautiful scene.
Du Mansheng was dressed in a neat off-white trench coat, her long hair slightly curled, exuding a gentle yet capable aura, as she looked down at her phone. Around her were three little girls with different styles, yet equally eye-catching.
Du Xiaoxiao (formerly Song Xiaoxiao) wore cool denim overalls paired with a bright yellow sweatshirt. Her hair had grown quite a bit, allowing it to fall smoothly without the need for a wig. Her delicate face held a natural liveliness and a hint of pride as she animatedly talked to the girl next to her.
The girl being pulled by Xiaoxiao was Xiaoyu, now renamed Du Mian Mian. She wore a light pink knee-length dress with a soft white knit cardigan over it. Her once dark and thin face had become much fairer, and her eyes were clear and serene, like a budding jasmine blossom.
She listened quietly to Du Xiaoxiao, with a gentle smile at the corners of her lips. The two stood together, one lively like fire, the other gentle like water, their styles contrasting yet oddly harmonious, with a closeness and mutual reliance that surpassed many twins.
On the other side, Tang Tang, wearing a rainbow-striped sweater and a fluffy bear headband tilted on her head, was like an energetic little rabbit, hopping around Du Mansheng’s luggage and humming a tune-less children’s song, her round cheeks brimming with carefree joy.
"Godmother!" Tang Tang, with her sharp eyes, was the first to spot Yan Yueqing and immediately charged forward like a small cannonball, burying herself in Yan Yueqing’s embrace with a sweet, bright voice, "I missed you so much! Tang Tang brought you super delicious seaweed crisps!"
Du Mian Mian also saw her and immediately displayed a shy yet joyful smile, walking over with small steps and a soft, gentle voice, "Hello, Aunt Yueqing."
Du Xiaoxiao raised her little chin, trying to act reserved, but her bright eyes and slightly upturned lips betrayed her happiness, "Aunt Yueqing, we’ve arrived!"
Du Mansheng put away her phone and greeted with a smile, "I’ve been waiting for you! If you hadn’t come, my ears would have sprouted calluses from Tang Tang’s chatter. Also, these two," she pointed at Du Xiaoxiao and Du Mian Mian, "have been guessing along the way whether you would bring Xiao Yan along."
Yan Yueqing hugged Tang Tang with one hand and gently ruffled the heads of Du Mian Mian and Du Xiaoxiao with the other, saying with a smile, "Of course I brought him. How could my little knight miss welcoming the three little princesses?"
Just as she finished speaking, a clear and slightly steady voice came from behind, "Hello, Aunt Mansheng. Hello, Sister Xiaoxiao. Hello, Sister Mianmian. Hello, Tang Bao."
Jun Yan knew they were coming and was beyond happy.
The housekeeper Mu knew that the young master might not be able to concentrate on studying, so he directly arranged for a car to bring him to the terminal.

Today, he wore a dark blue little jacket, making his face appear even fairer and more handsome, with his clear, bright eyes full of spirit. He greeted everyone politely, the mature demeanor melting Du Mansheng’s heart.
"Oh dear, our little Yan is getting more and more handsome!" Du Mansheng couldn’t help but bend down and pinch Jun Yan’s little cheek.
Jun Yan’s cheeks turned slightly red, but he graciously did not shy away.
"Brother Yan!" Tang Tang peered out from Yan Yueqing’s embrace, excitedly waving at Jun Yan, "Look, I saved you some seaweed crisps!" As she spoke, she began to take them out from her little bear backpack.
When Du Xiaoxiao was severely injured and hospitalized, she met Jun Yan a few times and was very friendly toward him.
Mian Mian, even more so, was full of gratitude toward Yan Yueqing’s family due to all the things from the program group and thereafter.
Watching the kids quickly become well-acquainted, Yan Yueqing and Du Mansheng exchanged smiles.
"Shall we go and get you settled in the hotel first?" Yan Yueqing suggested.
"No, no, no," Du Mansheng gestured, looping her arm through Yan Yueqing’s, "The hotel is booked, and the driver will send the luggage there. Let’s go see the houses directly! My main mission in coming to the Imperial City this time is to find a home for these two girls and finalize their school transfer. Yueqing, you have good taste. Can you help me pick?"
Du Mansheng planned to let Xiaoxiao and Mian Mian receive a better education in the Imperial City and completely sever the past. She always acted decisively, and once she decided, she wanted everything handled swiftly.
"In such a rush?" Yan Yueqing raised an eyebrow.
"Speed is crucial!" Du Mansheng laughed, "The sooner it’s settled, the sooner I’m at ease. I saw a few places but couldn’t make up my mind, so I’m waiting for you to make the final decision. Let’s go, let’s go!" Without allowing for a word of protest, she pulled Yan Yueqing along.
Of course, the children cheered excitedly, especially Du Xiaoxiao and Du Mian Mian, filled with anticipation for their soon-to-be "new home" in the Imperial City.
Tang Tang, even more delighted, saw house hunting as a new adventure playground.
The group split into two cars, and under Du Mansheng’s guidance, headed toward several prospective residential complexes she had pre-selected.
Du Mansheng’s criteria for choosing a house were very clear: good environment, strong security, excellent school district, and preferably not too far from Yan Yueqing’s residence in the Imperial City for the convenience of the children’s comings and goings.
The developments she considered were all among the best in the Imperial City.
The first place they looked at was a large flat floor located in the city’s center at a prime location, overlooking a city park with an excellent view and luxurious fine decoration.
"Wow! Such large floor-to-ceiling windows!" Du Xiaoxiao ran to the window, observing the bustling traffic and lush park below, her little face full of excitement.
Du Mian Mian looked somewhat reservedly at the glossy marble floor and expensive furnishings, quietly asking, "Mom, isn’t this too expensive?"
Du Mansheng embraced her shoulder, "Silly girl, Mom works hard to give you the best." She looked at Yan Yueqing, "So, what do you think? The location is unbeatable, and downstairs is a top-notch business district and private school."
Yan Yueqing led Jun Yan around the spacious living room and several bedrooms, looked out the window, and shook her head slightly, "The location is central, but it’s too noisy. The kids need a quieter environment for studying and resting, and..."
She pointed to the several equally tall neighboring buildings outside the window, "The view is nice, but it lacks privacy. The buildings across are a bit too close. If someone wanted to look this way, they’d see everything inside if the curtains weren’t drawn."
Jun Yan, looking up with his little face, added, "Mom, the network signal here fluctuates a bit. Maybe the nearby tall buildings interfere with it." He reached this conclusion after fiddling with the custom-made phone watch from the Jun family for a while.
Du Mansheng thoughtfully nodded, "Makes sense. On to the next one!"
The second place was a high-end villa area on the outskirts of the city, with its own gates and courtyard, nestled in a serene environment with lush greenery and a small garden.
"This is nice! There’s a yard!" As soon as Tang Tang entered, she fell in love with the garden filled with little flowers and grasses, already envisioning swinging on a swing.
Du Xiaoxiao also liked the quiet and spaciousness here, "I can practice dancing here!" She gestured with her hands.
Du Mian Mian, gazing at the vine-covered walls and wooden swing, also showed a fondness in her eyes.
It would be nice for planting potatoes.
Du Mansheng was very satisfied with the privacy and environment, "This place is close to a very good international school, just a ten-minute drive."
