Doomsday Life Simulator System In A Zombie Apocalypse World Update Era-Chapter 61: Train Carriage Modification Blueprint: Ranch
[Every station world has a World Barrier.]
[Since a station is a small world, then some of them should be the size of a world. Yet, some stations only have the explorable size of a city or town.]
[For example, at Crimson Rain City, some clues spoke of the existence of Bloodsucker Royals, yet that city merely had a dozen Bloodsucker Nobles.]
[In other words, it’s not that the world of Crimson Rain didn’t have Bloodsucker Royals, but that the station only restricted your exploration to that specific city.]
[The same occurred to the Red Riding Hood Station. When one of your avatars was about to leave the forest and enter the mountain range, an invisible barrier blocked you.]
[You had already tested, and so far, you couldn’t damage the world barrier.]
[’There should be an item that can allow passing through the world barrier. Maybe it’s a later game item, and since Terra’s batch of Train Conductors are still in the early game, there aren’t any clues of that yet.’]
[’I highly doubt that Terrans are the only train conductors in this world. Perhaps, there are other batches of humans from a parallel world that have been sent here earlier, and they’ve already become veterans.’]
[’If there weren’t previous train conductor batches, there shouldn’t have been a Cultist label for train conductors. But since there are, then there must’ve been a precedent which angered the World Will of the Train Survival World.’]
[While you had such thoughts, you couldn’t help but become wary of such Train Conductors.]
[Even after becoming a Peak Silver Rank Train Conductor, you still weren’t confident in your power. Maybe only becoming a Platinum rank would give you more confidence.]
[’I should strive to become a Platinum rank as soon as possible. It’s best if Zenith receives food that can permanently boost stats since that’s the easiest way to reach Gold rank, then Platinum rank.’]
[You continued plundering the Red Riding Hood Station with your avatars.]
[To prevent the resistance of the station inhabitants, such as the townspeople and hunters, you used your multiplication ability to make them sleep.]
[It was easily achieved by multiplying their drowsiness. It was unlikely for a person who still relied on sleep to recover their energy, not even to have a sliver of drowsiness.]
[So even when it’s the afternoon, you easily amplify their sleepiness until they fall asleep.]
[The only weakness of your multiplication ability was that you couldn’t multiply something that doesn’t exist. In other words, multiplying zero by any finite number will always lead to zero.]
[While you continued your plunder, Jade, Scarlet, and your main body decided to return to the train.]
[After returning to the train, you removed the avatars that you previously stationed to protect it.]
[After an hour passed, one of your avatars returned, and it’s the one that you sent to find the Train Carriage Modification Blueprint.]
[With that avatar presenting a silver treasure chest, you didn’t hesitate to open it.]
[-Ding!]
[You have opened a Silver Chest and received the following contents: ...Train Carriage Modification Blueprint: Ranch x 1]
[Other train upgrade materials came with it, but you mostly ignored them and focused on the carriage modifier.]
{Ranch (Initial Silver-grade Train Carriage Modification Blueprint): Modifies a train carriage into a self-contained livestock ranch capable of housing and breeding animals during transit. Equipped with an automated feed conversion system that processes raw food into optimized livestock feed. It also has an auto-cleaning system built in.}
{Materials Required: Titanium Alloy x35, Reinforced Steel x40, Hardened Composite Plate x25, High-Density Polymer x30, Advanced Circuit Board x8, Climate Control Unit x2, Mechanical Processor x6, Precision Gear x20, Magnetic Bearing x12, Medium Energy Core x2, Life Essence Crystal x2, Enhancement Crystal x1}
[Without any hesitation, you and Jade assisted each other in filling up the material requirements for the blueprint.]
[You used your multiplication superpower to duplicate those materials that you currently have. On the other hand, Jade would use the Mystic Apples you created to exchange for rarer materials like the Life Essence Crystal.]
[In just under a minute, all materials required were filled up, and so you submitted the blueprint.]
[-Ding!]
{Train Carriage Modification Blueprint: Ranch is now being used on Carriage 2!}
[With a flash of light on Carriage 2, you and Jade, who were staying in Carriage 1, didn’t have to exit that specific carriage, so the modification immediately went underway.]
[While waiting for the carriage modification, you spoke, "I can’t wait for the Ranch to be completed. That way, my avatars can finally start taking livestock from those townspeople."]
[You couldn’t store those livestock inside your system inventory, so you didn’t take them yet. Your avatars had only dug up the farming plots of those townspeople.]
[They had even dug out those farm plots with crops already grown, decisively storing them all inside the system inventory.]
[Even a certain farmer’s barn, tools, tractor, etc, weren’t spared. Like a bunch of locusts, your avatars took whatever they could find and store, only leaving enough for the townspeople to live.]
[While you, Jade, and Scarlet were waiting, a notification sound soon sounded.]
[-Ding!]
{The train carriage modification has been completed!}
{Train Carriage 2: Ranch (Upgradeable)}
{Tier: 1}
{Description: A livestock ranch carriage designed to house and raise animals during transit. The interior contains reinforced enclosures, feeding stations, ventilation systems, waste management facilities, and a simulated sunlight system that replicates natural day-night cycles to maintain livestock health.
Equipped with an automated feed conversion system that processes supplied food into suitable livestock feed, allowing convenient and efficient animal husbandry. Currently capable of accommodating ordinary livestock.}
{Upgrade Requirement: Not available until the first Extreme Event has been successfully completed.} 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
[You immediately entered Carriage 2 and inspected the ranch. Jade and Scarlet followed behind you with curiosity flashing in their eyes.]
[As soon as you stepped inside Carriage 2, what greeted your sight was the somewhat warm sunlight shining down on you.]
[You had arrived at the pasture lands of the Ranch, with the soft green grass being stepped on by your shoes.]
[Looking above, you could see a sun hanging up in the sky, with even a blue sky and white clouds accompanying it.]
["Is this the simulated sunlight system? This looks and feels too real. It’s almost like a miniature world."]
