Doomsday Life Simulator System In A Zombie Apocalypse World Update Era-Chapter 63: Extreme Event Information
{The Red Riding Hood Station Quest has been completed!}
{Calculating quest rating...}
[-Ding!]
{Quest Rating of "The Scarlet That the Moon Chose" is S+!}
{The quest rating limit is S+. However, it can be extended by accomplishing otherworldly achievements during the duration of the quest.}
[-Ding!]
{It has been detected that the achievement "Slay A Wild God’s Avatar" has been completed during the station quest!}
{Increasing the quest rating...}
[-Ding!]
{The finalized quest rating is SS!}
{Zenith has received the following quest rewards: Platinum Chest x1 and Gold Chest x1!}
[Hearing the quest reward settlement, Jade exclaimed, "Another Platinum Chest! With that one we received earlier after that world announcement, we now have two of them!"]
["On top of that, there’s one more golden chest, making it three."]
[The exploration and treasure hunting that your avatars did had yielded 2 Golden Chests, 5 Silver Chests, 18 Bronze Chests, 29 Iron Chests, and 62 Wooden Chests.]
[The quantity of Bronze, Iron, and Wooden chests might have been lower than the Crimson Rain City Station, but this station still compensated with quality.]
[If you had massacred those hunters and townspeople, you might have obtained more Bronze, Iron, and Wooden Chests.]
[After all, unlike Crimson Rain City, filled with killable mobs like Bloodsuckers, Red Riding Hood Station’s treasure chests were mostly obtained from naturally generated ones.]
[Those that were obtained from killing weren’t that much, and those fanatical believers and clergymen dropped them.]
[However, if you wantonly slaughter the townspeople and hunters, the side quest rating would be lower, and you might not have obtained an additional gold chest.]
[It also wasn’t worth it to lower Scarlet’s favorability by massacring her hometown, even if said hometown was hostile to her.]
[Before you and Jade could start opening the treasure chests, a notification sounded in not only Jade’s and your mind but also Scarlet’s.]
[-Ding!]
{Since Zenith has already departed from the station and returned to the endless barren wasteland, the information regarding the upcoming Extreme Event will now be displayed.}
{Extreme Event: Daily Impostor}
{Description: Every day, there will be one impostor on the train. When someone is impersonated by an impostor, they cannot access the chat to prove their innocence.
During an impersonation event, the impostor and the impersonated cannot harm anyone within the train, and also cannot use their power and skills. However, an hour after the impostor event is discovered to have occurred, a decision must be made on which is which.
Failure to choose the real one will make the impostor replace the real one and accompany the train crew as if they’re the original, waiting for the opportune moment to backstab and kill the train crew.
The impostor naturally possessed the memories of the impersonated, so it’s up to the train crew’s methods to figure out which is the real one.}
{Remark: So what if you can find out which is which? Can your train crewmates be as discerning as you?}
[After reading the description of the upcoming Extreme Event, you became complacent since impostors were a pile of dogshit under your trusty Hint Prompt (Gold) talent.]
[However, after reading the remark, while you knew it wasn’t targeted at you but to any train crewmate that possesses analysis skills, you still couldn’t help but pause for a while.]
[’The World Will is right. No matter how great someone is in finding out the impostor from their fellow crewmates, it’s another matter if they’re the one who became the impersonated.’]
[’At that point, it will test whether your fellow crewmates have such means as yours. Unfortunately, I don’t think Jade and Scarlet have such means.’]
[As you contemplated the upcoming Extreme Event, Jade asked Scarlet, "Scarlet, do you have any means of figuring out the real one from the impostor? I unfortunately don’t have one."]
[In response to Jade’s inquiry, Scarlet sighed and shook her head, "I wish I had one, but I don’t."]
["If I transform into Partial Werewolf Form, I can possess heightened senses such as improved smell. But I doubt the Impostor will make a low-level mistake of ignoring something as simple as scent."]
[Jade was frustrated by her lack of versatility. "Darling has an analysis type talent, so we can trust him to choose the real us from the impostor."]
["However, we’ll find it difficult to choose the real him from the impostor. Ideally, this could have been solved if at least two train crew mates had a reliable analysis-type skill."]
[Faced with Jade’s frustration, you weren’t as worried as she was.]
[Pondering for a while, you realized that Jade was not without an analysis-type skill.]
["Jade, don’t you have a Malice Perception skill? I don’t know if it can be useful and if the impostor can mask its malice, but it’s worth a try."]
["Even if that won’t work, it’s not like I don’t have the means to prove I’m the real one."]
[Reassuring Jade and Scarlet, you summoned your Absolute Compass on your left hand and created a Mystic Apple on your right.]
[You spoke confidently, "While in the state of being impersonated, I can’t use my power and skills, and possibly even innate talent; these talents are different."]
["I obtained them outside the Train Survival World. Hence, it won’t be affected by the Daily Impostor extreme event."]
["That way, the impostor might have my memories, but it won’t be able to use these talents of mine."]
[However, even with the claim of the World Will that the Impostor could possess your memories, you highly doubted that.]
[After all, the Doomsday Life Simulation System wouldn’t allow your memory and self to be tampered with, or else the system would be exposed.]
[So, you speculated that the Impostor might only have the memories of your parallel world Zayne before and after the Global Transmigration in Train Survival World.]
[In other words, memories related to the previous simulation, as well as the Apocalypse World Update Era, wouldn’t be included.]
[’I highly doubt the World Will could even see my most crucial memories like the system and the Apocalypse World Update Era.’]
[’Although I haven’t encountered any case of my will and mind being tampered with, so I don’t know how the system will react to that.’]
