Chapter 67: Time At The Hospital

Orion lay quietly on the hospital bed while Lilian and Sofia sat on either side of him.

Though both of them were deeply worried about Orion’s injuries, that didn’t stop them from occasionally getting into heated quarrels with each other.

The healers had already examined Orion, and they were shocked by how quickly his wounds were healing. After giving a few final instructions, they soon left the room.

Once they were gone, Lilian reached into her storage pouch and took out several magic stones, placing them beside Orion.

"Here, take this..." she said softly, picking one up and bringing it toward his mouth to feed him.

Her face flushed red as she did so.

"What the fuck are you doing?!" Sofia shouted in horror. "Are you trying to kill him, you damned bitch?!"

She immediately snatched the magic stone out of Lilian’s hand.

"Don’t you know Orion can consume magic stones safely?" Lilian spoke calmly, her eyes narrowing.

Hearing those words, Sofia’s eyes widened in disbelief. She had never heard something so ridiculous in her entire life.

Seeing Sofia’s reaction, Lilian immediately understood—Orion hadn’t told her about this.

An evil idea quickly formed in Lilian’s mind.

With a smirk, Lilian said, "Ohhh, how sad... maybe he doesn’t trust you that much to tell you this little secret."

Then she burst out laughing.

Sofia was so enraged by Lilian’s remark that she completely forgot about the topic of Orion safely consuming magic stones.

"Oh yeah?" Sofia muttered, a small mischievous smile tugging at her lips. "Then have you done it with him yet? Because I did—and it was a lot of fun."

"You bitch!" Lilian’s eyes darkened instantly.

And just like that, the two of them began fighting again.

Orion sighed.

"Please... stop," Orion said weakly.

Reluctantly, both Sofia and Lilian stopped fighting.

"You know," Orion continued, "as flattering as two women fighting over me is..." He paused. "I don’t think it’s very good for my mental health."

The atmosphere finally calmed down a little.

"Can you really... consume magic stones without getting hurt?" Sofia asked curiously.

Orion nodded, falling into deep thought.

’I should really tell them the truth about me... they’re my girlfriends. They deserve to know.’

He glanced at Lilian.

He was still a bit afraid to tell her everything. After all, he was technically her direct enemy. But he also knew he couldn’t hide it forever.

’What if she leaves me when I tell her?’

As the thought crossed his mind, his aura subtly turned possessive.

’Screw it. They’re my women now. They’re mine—and I’m theirs. Even if they want to leave... I won’t let them.’

With that thought, Orion suddenly sat up and pulled both of them into a tight embrace.

"O-Orion... what happened? Why all of a sudden—" Sofia couldn’t finish her words as Orion tightened his hold.

After a moment, he let go.

"You both can guess that I have a lot of secrets, right?" Orion said, his expression serious.

"Yes..." Lilian replied softly.

Sofia glanced back and forth between them. Though she loved Orion, she realized she didn’t actually know much about him.

"If this is going to work," Orion continued, "I need to come completely clean with you two." He paused and glanced around the room. "But this isn’t the right place for that conversation."

"You’re right," Sofia said. "What if we meet somewhere private... like our club?"

"Wait," Lilian snapped. "You two created a club? Why didn’t you tell me?"

"Well... we weren’t on the best of terms back then, so..." Orion said, scratching his head awkwardly.

Lilian sighed. "I’m sorry... if I was being unreasonable—"

Before she could say more, Orion interrupted her.

"Let’s not talk about that right now. Instead, can you tell me about tomorrow’s dungeon expedition?"

Lilian’s expression turned serious as she explained everything she knew. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

"Relics, huh..." Orion muttered, his eyes lighting up.

’What the hell... is this real?

My luck is insane. Joining the academy was the best decision I’ve ever made.’

He couldn’t believe he was this close to his goal already. Not to mention, he now knew the method needed to break the Demon Queen’s seal.

The only problem was—

’How the fuck am I supposed to steal the relic?’

He turned to Lilian.

"How long will the expedition last?" he asked.

"We’re planning five visits," she replied. "Each time, we’ll clear a specific number of floors."

’Good. That gives me plenty of time to figure things out.’

Just then, a nurse entered the room.

"Lady Lilian, the Headmistress is requesting your presence."

Lilian turned to Orion. "I guess I have to go. Will you be okay?" she asked, side-eyeing Sofia.

"Bitch, what do you mean by ’will he be okay’? I’m here too!" Sofia shouted.

Lilian simply giggled and followed the nurse out.

As soon as they left, Sofia pressed closer to Orion.

"So... what else are you hiding from me, hmm?" she said as she climbed onto his lap.

Orion sighed. "It’s true that I’m hiding things from you." He admitted.

Then he sat up, Sofia now resting comfortably in his lap, and stared deeply into her eyes.

"But trust me. Once we’re alone and the conditions are right, I’ll tell you everything."

"And what about my race?" Sofia whispered. "You said we’d talk about it too."

"Once I deal with all the crap happening around me," Orion said gently, touching her lips, "we’ll properly investigate it together. Okay?"

Sofia shivered and slowly reached down, touching Orion’s crotch.

"Mm..." she bit her lip.

Just as things were about to heat up—

"My eyes! My eyes!"

A shout echoed through the room.

They both turned hastily.

It was Estaban, along with Lloyd and Martin.

Sofia immediately jumped off Orion, her face burning with embarrassment.

"I-I’ll meet you after my last class!" she shouted as she ran past Estaban and fled the room.

Estaban glared at Orion.

"Are you two animals?! Do you have no shame?!" he shouted angrily. "At this point, my father is definitely going to hear about this. And when he does..." He gulped. "Trust me—you don’t want that."

He sat down beside Orion’s bed, with Lloyd and Martin following.

"By the way," Estaban added, a smirk forming. "I saw what happened after the duel."

"So?" he said. "Tell me everything."

Meanwhile, Lilian arrived at the Headmistress’s office.

"You asked for me?"

"Oh, Lilian," the Headmistress said, looking up from her work. "Come, sit."

"So what’s the matter?" Lilian asked as she took the chair across from her.

Evelyn leaned forward, resting her folded arms on the desk, her chin settling atop them.

"I understand something happened between you and that boy, Orion," she said, her eyes narrowing.

Lilian sighed. She wasn’t surprised the Headmistress had already heard about this.

"You’re right. Something did happen."

"Sooo... what exactly?" Evelyn pressed.

"Well," Lilian replied calmly, "long story short—he’s my boyfriend now."

Evelyn leaned back, her expression sharpening.

"Are you sure this is the right time to start a relationship?" she asked coldly. "The world is unstable, and the future may depend on you."

"I’ve devoted my entire life to the cause," Lilian said firmly. "But it’s time I thought for myself. I won’t lose him by waiting. Not a chance."

Evelyn blinked, clearly taken aback by Lilian’s determination.

She let out a slow breath.

"Lilian," she said quietly, "if Orion were the one destined to break the Demon Queen’s seal... what would you do?"

Lilian’s eyes narrowed.

"What are you implying, Headmistress?"

Evelyn remained silent.

That silence was answer enough.

Lilian stood abruptly.

"I don’t appreciate how you’re talking about my boyfriend," she said, her voice steady but cold.

"And even if he were what you’re suggesting..." Her gaze sharpened. "I still wouldn’t let him go."

With that, she turned and walked toward the door.

She paused with her hand on the handle.

"Even though you’re my teacher," Lilian said without turning back, "you should know this—I’ll tell him everything you just said."

Then she left.

After Lilian was gone. The headmistress let out a sigh. And realized how big a mess she made right now. If Lilian tells everything to Orion. She might have to face some trouble.
