All of them really wanted to know who this masked cultivator was. They had never heard of someone using that type of qi and not to mention it was his blood qi.

This meant that the masked cultivator had cultivated some kind of unique body cultivation technique. They wanted to know what kind of technique it was and if possible get their hands on it.

Maybe he really was a Tribulation Ascendance and the qi he cultivated worked as an illusion to hide his real strength.

Lin Feng made his way back to the sect and he found it to be empty. He landed on the spirit peak as only Mu Yao was present there and she was sleeping on the branch of a tree.

In two years she had reached the mid stage of core formation realm and going through lots of her alone trainings in the forest she had formed the habit of sleeping on the trees itself.

Was he by chance making her a real beast? Maybe her small brain really was developing in that direction.

Looking at her he still sighed. She was still as defenseless as ever. Even in the wilderness she didn’t care much about her safety yet. As long as she thought that the spot was hidden she fell asleep instantly.

He put his hand on the tree and immediately shook it.

Mu Yao fell to the ground like a rock. She immediately looked toward Lin Feng indignantly. "Senior brother why?"

Lin Feng looked back at her without change in his expression. "You do know that you can fly right? How defenseless are you to not even think about it while falling. It seems I have been a little soft-hearted on your training... I will remember that next time."

Mu Yao’s pouting face immediately turned into embarrassment. She looked around sneakily to see where Hei Ying was but didn’t find her. "Senior brother, where is Hei Ying?"

Lin Feng had seen Hei Ying at the base of the mountain. Nowadays she always went hunting. Her appetite had increased quite a lot.

Her progress wasn’t slower than Mu Yao’s even though spirit beasts take a little longer than humans to cross realms.

It was all because of the high-grade resources he had provided her unlike Mu Yao, whom he didn’t encourage to take pills to improve her cultivation realm.

Her improvement in realm would only come if she reached a certain point in her battle strength.

"She is at the base of the mountain." Just as he said that a faint rumble echoed through the sky.

Lin Feng looked toward the direction and it came from where the seven beasts which were now given titles of protectors of Frozen Heart Sect stayed.

They were still not known to everyone in the sect but it didn’t matter. They would gradually be known to the whole world.

"Cultivate now. I will be back." Lin Feng said that and went to see what was happening there.

Mu Yao sulked but still went to her chamber to cultivate.

In two years his master had finally gotten a few insights on chaos law. Especially observing the creation of chaos while dual cultivating with him. She had begun walking on the path. It was still far from consolidation. Her strength had improved further.

"How did it go?" Xuan Lian asked as all of them saw him coming.

Lin Feng told them about the events that unfolded when he arrived and as expected they were furious.

"So they decided to use a Tribulation Ascendance cultivator. Can’t say I am not surprised. Tsk!" Zi Mei snorted.

"Well let it be. Since they are acting shameless we can do it too in the future. I am more interested in those who will side with them. What do you think who will be the one who will give in to temptation first?" Xuan Lian quipped.

There were a lot of factions in Northern Region but only two came near the strength of Frozen Heart Sect. One was Clear Blade Sect. They practiced the way of the sword and the other sect was Moonwater Sect.

Clear Blade Sect was the strongest sect in Northern Region before Frozen Heart Sect was established so their strength wasn’t something anyone would doubt.

As for Moonwater Sect they always showed themselves as a peaceful sect accepting terms which were even disadvantageous to them as long as everything could be sorted out with peace.

"Is there even need to ask? Moonwater Sect. Since they love peace they would naturally side with someone who will win the war one-sided..." Hua Ying said while shaking her head.

Finding peace in the cultivation world while living is wishful thinking.

"I have a feeling we will see a lot of betrayals in the upcoming days. I don’t know if I should feel happy that we will finally get a chance to eradicate them once and for all or sad that some of them might be those who have shown quite a close relationship with us."

Everyone’s attention was partially on the duel and another clash occurred.

Even fighting so many peak stage Sacred Ascension beasts along with Li Xiang Xuan Xue wasn’t at a disadvantage.

Lin Feng had heard his aunts and was also watching the duel but most of his attention nowadays stayed on his memories. In two years he had felt the constant weakening in the seal.

He always got knowledge of some particular things and this was getting more frequent. He had a feeling that it wouldn’t be long before most if not all memories would be unsealed.

His demeanor had changed a little too. He had become mostly quiet and only responded when he felt the necessity. It was a gradual change but since he tried to always act like his usual self his aunts hadn’t noticed it yet but his master had. She didn’t ask him anything though.

He himself though never felt that everything was natural as it was his true self. In fact the more he thought about his past actions the more embarrassed he felt.

It was quite different from what he had imagined himself to be. One thing was sure that it wouldn’t be long before he wouldn’t be able to hide his true self from his aunts.

The reason was simple because with his new thought process he felt it totally unnecessary to do so.

All in all he was happy for one thing. He didn’t feel emotional aversion from everyone close to him and he preferred if it stayed the same once he had recovered all his memories.

Xuan Xue dodged a few attacks gracefully before stopping. "That’s enough."

Li Xiang shook her head in helplessness. "You have become far stronger than before." She was more than just stunned today.

Seeing these seven peak stage Sacred Ascension beasts was too much for even her. Knowing that they were protectors of Frozen Heart Sect was another surprise and seeing that Xuan Xue was able to dominate them in spar while fighting all of them was mind-numbing.

"You have improved too." Xuan Xue could easily feel that Li Xiang had improved a lot from her past.

Li Xiang sighed with a restrained smile and looked toward Lin Feng. "So how did it go?"

Lin Feng explained calmly again. He didn’t hide anything. When Li Xiang heard about the fact that he had killed a late stage Heaven Ascension realm cultivator then her eyes widened as she didn’t quite believe it.

When she heard that he escaped from a Tribulation Ascendance cultivator then it became even more unbelievable for her.

Lin Feng could see her expression but he didn’t care if she believed it or not. He was telling everything as his master was listening too. After he was done he bowed. "I am going to cultivate. Pardon me."

After saying that he left as he didn’t want to go through proving himself just in case if she asked.

When Xuan Xue saw that she tagged along. "Li Xiang discuss some matters with Xuan Lian and the others. I will be back."

Lin Feng had just moved when he felt his master’s presence near him.

"What happened?" Xuan Xue could feel that he was a little distracted.

Lin Feng sighed. "It seems I shouldn’t have left so abruptly. She might feel offended."

Xuan Xue thought for a second before they landed on the spirit peak. "Stop thinking about it. I can feel that you changed a little."

Lin Feng looked toward her and sighed. "I don’t quite understand it myself yet but I have just decided to go with what I feel is right master. Just seeing that senior Li Xiang didn’t believe me I just decided to not waste my time on it even knowing well that it will offend her."

Xuan Xue took a small breath and put a finger on his forehead. "If I have to describe your change then you feel far more mature than your usual self."
