Dual Cultivation: Ying Yang is way to Chaos-Chapter 336: Entering The City

Lin Feng sighed while shaking his head internally. So basically all these five tokens were worthless and are used as diversion. Instead they provided the token at the entrance itself.

This was going to be far trickier than he had imagined it to be. Well, it’s better this way. He was feeling a little bored these past few days. This little challenge was more than welcome.

Instead of going to the entrance to test whether bringing these tokens would be enough to obtain the new one from the guards—something he had no doubt wouldn’t be as simple as it appeared, he began to observe the city more thoroughly.

Using it was a little bit overkill to just see through a hidden killing array but it would make things far easier for him.

Arrays left behind a mark in the world where they were drawn successfully even if they weren’t active and are hidden. So, he could easily trace all its runes and curves.

As expected, he found the array very easily. It was drawn just behind the main city wall. He could also easily see its nodes and if he wanted, he could destroy it in a few breaths if someone didn’t come to stop him.

It wouldn’t happen though. The moment he tried to break the array, the cultivators keeping an eye on it would definitely get alerted.

Nonetheless, he didn’t want to destroy it anyway. He was just planning to make it ineffective in a different way. Seeing through the array this clearly like, which runes had been infused with more spirit qi , which were just fake runes gave him all the details he wanted and that was enough to create a token which would be similar to the real array token.

It would just take time as he had to see through the whole array which was covering the entire city right now but it wasn’t a problem though, unless a Tribulation Ascendance decided to use their spiritual sense randomly.

Lin Feng slowly observed the array and completed more than half the portion before deciding to check the river side.

This would be a little more difficult since most of the cultivators from Eastern Region must be constantly arriving or leaving through that route instead of teleportations.

Being found out wasn’t really a issue for him but getting recognized as someone from Frozen Heart Sect of Northern Region would be.

He arrived above the river with a mask on his face now and in a few breaths one cultivator passed just a little below him. The cultivator didn’t pay much attention to him though and entered the city unhindered.

He expected this, most cultivators would think that he wasn’t a threat. The reason was simple. Two Heaven Ascension spiritual senses were covering the city and since they hadn’t done anything to him he was naturally an ally in their eyes.

He calmly observed the array and after a few minutes he was done seeing through everything he needed and left for the spirit mine. Some more cultivators passed but they also didn’t care about him floating out of the city.

Next day, Lin Feng came back and this time he had an array token with him. He was going to enter the city to check its effectiveness.

He could do it without entering and just using his sense of danger but since he had something else to verify inside the city he would go in.

Going through the entrance was not possible. He was sure that masked cultivators would definitely have to show their face to guards.

Going above the wall was even more troublesome. If anyone saw him doing that then he wouldn’t be able to stay inside the city long enough to do anything.

The only area safest was from the river side as there was no entrance there. He could easily evade spiritual sense but the issue was again being seen by someone who was using spiritual sense and eyes together. They could easily get alarmed not sensing him in their spiritual sense.

He could only go without hiding his cultivation realm now. In the end he was someone with a token so they wouldn’t think too much even if they saw his mask and didn’t know his identity.

He went deep inside the river first and made his way back calmly as if coming from Jinshi city.

When he reached the city, he followed the same way he had seen last night. They all entered from above the dock area and there was no doubt someone was just acting like a guard there. One of the spiritual senses definitely belonged to them.

Nonetheless, he passed smoothly without any interruptions. While entering he didn’t feel any kind of danger from the array confirming that the token he created was perfect.

The city looked far quieter than the last time he had visited. He could only see a few people even in the most crowded areas of the city and they all were mostly the disciples of these two sects or cultivators from Eastern and Southern regions.

The Crimson Lotus Inn which they had destroyed last time was again restored and it was completely filled with intoxicated cultivators.

Suddenly Lin Feng stopped as his eyes fell on someone he knew, Bai Lian. She was walking alongside a woman with a calm demeanor.

Lin Feng immediately averted his eyes as he could sense the invisible might of Tribulation Ascendance from this woman. It definitely was Bai Lian’s sister , the owner of Skycloud Auction Pavilion.

When he decided to just ignore them and pass by calmly, Bai Lian’s eyes fell on him.

Lin Feng shook his head internally while walking, hoping that she didn’t recognize him since the mask he was wearing was different but his figure and height hadn’t changed much in these years.

Only when he passed by them, he sighed in relief...
