Chapter 211: Where They First Met

The next few days on set, director Thomas personally served her hand and foot.

"We’ll be shooting from this angle, is that convenient for you?" He would ask before they would start the scene.

"Lower the lights, they might be blinding her." He’d yell at the crew.

Everything had to please her, even if she didn’t show any displeasure at all.

The next several months of filming went by smoothly, Lilian never showed her face on set again, no one could find her. Perhaps the embarrassment from the scandal had caused her to go into hiding, when there was such a clear evidence, she couldn’t refute the scandal or deny it.

Several days later, Lightstar Entertainment announced that they would no longer be working with Lilian Roberts. Without releasing other further details, the whole issue was closed down, but the general public could already guess that it was because of the scandal which completely overturned Lilian’s public reputation.

Meanwhile, the image of Tristan Grayson’s mystery woman surged all over the internet. The names Celine Roberts and Tristan Grayson had never once been associated before, hence it caused a huge shock.

Filming for the stars we steal came to an end after a few months of focused hard work, it was just a few days before the official wrap up party.

Once it was past sunset that evening, Celine began to get ready for her date that evening.

She had gone on a few dates with Tristan before, and it had all been setup romantically but this time something felt off as Tristan hadn’t been the one to call her himself, it was Kaleb who told her that someone would be picking her up in the evening. Nevertheless, Celine didn’t think too much about it. Perhaps Tristan had planned something and was too busy to make the call himself.

Celine opened her closet, her eyes scanning the array of clothes hung inside. She trailed her hands over them before picking up a bright yellow dress. Placing it against her body, she stood before the mirror to take a look.

The dress had an off-shoulder style, its length reaching just above the knees, giving off a soft, cute appeal. She smiled at her reflection, wondering what Tristan would think if he saw her in it.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, Mommy, the color is too bright."

An adorable little voice sounded behind her, making her whirl around to find Leah standing there.

"Baby, come here, come help Mommy pick a dress," Celine called with a smile, wanting to seek her daughter’s opinion.

Leah excitedly approached, following Celine toward the closet.

Celine pulled out another dress, this time a maroon one with spaghetti straps and a sweetheart neckline. Placing it against herself, she stood before the mirror. "How about this one?"

The girl stared at the dress for no more than a moment before saying, "Too dark."

Celine picked out another dress and held it up against herself just like before, but Leah immediately found a flaw in it. This continued with every other dress Celine tried.

"Mommy, don’t you have anything nice in there?" Leah asked, sounding slightly tired of the back-and-forth with the "boring" dresses.

Celine pinched the girl’s cheeks playfully. "Are you looking down on Mommy’s fashion sense?"

"No, you’re just too excited, you’re picking the wrong things. You are going on a date with Daddy, not a funeral to wear that plain black dress," she said, pointing at the last dress Celine had tried, which was completely black.

Celine laughed softly. "Alright, come pick something for me then."

She stepped aside, allowing the little girl to take over.

Leah’s eyes scanned through the closet carefully before something in the corner caught her attention. Her blue eyes lit up.

"That one, Mommy, you can try that."

Celine followed her gaze and spotted a light-colored dress with a soft pink shade. She pulled it out and placed it against her body, studying it in the mirror.

It wasn’t bad.

It was a body-fitting dress that fell just an inch below her knees. It had thin straps and a slightly lower neckline that revealed just a hint of cleavage.

"Not bad... will you try it on, Mommy?" Leah asked expectantly.

"Alright, I’ll try it on then."

Celine hurried into the bathroom and emerged a few minutes later, now wearing the dress.

It fit her snugly, hugging her in all the right places. It wasn’t too tight, nor too loose, yet it accentuated her feminine curves beautifully.

"You look stunning, Mommy!" Leah beamed, clearly proud of her choice.

Celine looked at her reflection in the mirror. The dress sat perfectly on her, with delicate embellishments glistening along the straps.

"Good choice, baby. This dress looks lovely," she said, praising her daughter before placing a small kiss on her cheek.

She then continued getting ready, as time was already slipping by.

Kaleb had said he would send someone to pick her up.

Just the day before, Tristan had taken her and the children out. The family of four had spent a wonderful time at the amusement park, and Celine couldn’t help but feel relieved seeing the once slightly tense relationship between Tristan and Leo ease up significantly.

"OMG! You look delicious, are you sure you’re going on a date or just to have some secret spicy time with Tristan?" Natalia sashayed into the room and instantly exclaimed the moment she set eyes on Celine.

"Nat, kids are here!" Celine sent her a glare and she raised up her arms in surrender before lowering her voice in a whisper so only Celine could hear, "Just be careful, or you might come home with another set of Leah and Leo junior tonight."

"Ugh Natalia, you’re just impossible!"

"Mommy, the car is here," Leah informed, peeking down from the window to see the black Maybach parked outside.

"Time to go, Celine. Have fun!" Natalia gave her a small hug before pushing her out.

"Bye, Mommy!" Leah waved.

"Bye."

Celine walked out of the room, heading downstairs. She pressed a quick kiss to Leo’s cheek before hurrying out.

She stepped onto the porch, heading toward the car. The driver, who was dressed in a black suit, greeted her politely before opening the door for her.

The car drove away, with Leah Natalia and Leo standing outside, waving as it left the mansion.

After about half an hour’s drive, the car stopped at the underground parking lot of a large building. When she stepped out, she smiled at the driver.

"Thank you," she muttered.

The driver looked slightly stunned that she had thanked him, but he quickly responded, "You’re welcome. This way, please, ma’am."

He led her toward a private elevator, and she stepped in, beginning to feel curious about what Tristan must have prepared for her.

Kaleb had told her Tristan had arranged something special for their date, but now her curiosity only grew stronger.

However, as the elevator stopped and she stepped out, Celine suddenly paused.

Her eyes scanned the somewhat familiar hallways of the building, the posh setting, the elegant atmosphere, and the subtle European touch in the design.

"Are we at... Crown Hotels?" Celine asked, looking at the man with slight doubt.

"Yes, ma’am. We are indeed at Crown Hotels," he confirmed.

Celine felt a rush of déjà vu.

Of course.

This was Crown Hotels, a well known five star hotel in and Neville, and more specifically...

The same place where her wedding with Ian had almost taken place.

The same place...where she and Tristan had first met.

At the very end of the hallway, they arrived at a large set of double doors. The man respectfully stepped aside, giving her a small bow as he gestured for her to enter.

"Mr. Grayson is inside, waiting for you, ma’am."

Celine felt a giddy sensation rush down her spine. She gave the man a small, grateful smile once more before stepping forward.

The doors were gently pushed open and Celine walked inside.
