Dungeon of Niflheim-Chapter 887: Her man
Khione and Frost kissed one another for a good few minutes, until pretty much all of Khione’s built up rage had dissipated, her figure returning to her more normal 3 metre height.
"I’m certainly not against such behaviour my dear but what brought it on?" Frost noticing a slight swelling in his lips teased while his hands found firm purchase on Khione bountiful ass.
His touch sent a jolt through her system, but she held back a moan as well as the urge to follow through further. "Did that bastard do anything to you?" She asked hatefully, that icy fire once again blooming in the centre of her eyes.
"Hmm what do you mean?" His caressing came to a halt, but his hands remained where they were, the feeling being far too addictive to pass up. He could happily fondle her ass all day and never get bored.
"Did he hurt you? Threaten you?" Her voice was tinged with a sense of panic, her heart anxious as she scanned Frost from head to toe, worried that she’d missed something during her earlier and all too brief inspection.
"What’s this all about Khione? Why would you think he’d hurt me?" Frost chose to act ignorant in regards to the invasion of privacy that Khione’s family took part in at least until he had good reason to do so otherwise therefore under that premise why would Shivali attempt to harm him.
’Is she talking about his efforts at intimidation? But would she know about that rite of passage?’ The only thing that possibly came to mind was Shivali’s attempt to instil fear, his efforts to brand himself as someone to be wary of.
"When he first called me into his office he did try to intimidate me but that was his way of ensuring a more honest relationship between you and I, something he admitted to doing with all those who attempt to date his daughters." At least that was how Shivali initially put it across, but Frost knew better, accurately honing in on the main component of this little act. A form of payback that serves to make Shivali feel better about his upcoming loss. But that was a revelation he wanted to keep secret, no reason to throw his father in law in front a carriage when he’s there already.
"Haaaaaaaa." In response to his answer Khione let out a repressed sigh. "No not that archaic rite of passage but something substantial like cutting you up and stitching you back together or turning you into an ice cube." Khione knew full well about her father’s so called rite of passage, her sisters and even a few of her brother in laws occasionally complained about that little show of force.
People with weak wills or those who weren’t properly suited for one of the Niflheim Princesses would suffer something that would make them run for the hills, but she knew the depths of her man, Frost was no coward and as Shivali and even her mother previously stated there was no one better than him to be her partner.
The Primordial Ice king would certainly try to intimidate him, to make him fear his future father in law so he would think twice about hurting one of his daughters, but she was confident such a thing would never come to pass and even if it did she was plenty capable of handling him herself, the difference in power was staggering after all.
"Eh why in Nova would he do that?" Frost felt a chill run down his back as he was led to imagine being subjected to such forms of torture, forms that Shivali was in fact perfectly capable of administering and undoing with a simple flick of his wrist.
".....That bastard almost killed you last night." Anger once again bubbled to the surface of Khione’s heart as she remembered her mother’s words. Last night before the magical climax of their enchanting evening Shivali had set his sights on Frost and held his life in the palm of his hand, ready to smite him at the drop of a hat. The only reason -as far as she knew- Frost was still here was because her mother threatened to cut of her father’s cock if he dared to do so, a threat that was backed by Skadi and one that obviously worked wonders given the result.
"He what!" Frost’s brief feelings of pity towards his father in law started to fall away when he heard that.
"Take a seat Frost that’s just the start of it." The pain of betrayal spilled out of her heart as Khione began regaling the exact events of last night. The fact that during their intimate date they weren’t just followed but spied on by numerous members of her family, that they partied and gallivanted while they grew closer to one another, their most intimate gestures and exchanges seen clearly and without their knowledge by others. That alone had Khione’s heart bleeding, but when she spoke of how Shivali almost killed her lover tears ran down her cheeks.
Giving words to these events and sharing it with the other victim involved had her writhing in agony, her heart literally bleeding from the pain. She was so vulnerable, a look that didn’t suit the strong and powerful persona Frost had come to know and love. Without any hesitation he held her tight in his arms, letting her wail and sob against his shoulders as she collapsed against him. He acted as her rock, her beacon of hope in this deluge of betrayal. Her family that normally served in this role were now the aggressors, the enemy, the ones who had hurt her. Their betrayal had stung her deep perhaps much deeper than they would ever realise.
"It’s ok my love let it out, there’s no one here but the two of us, you don’t need to hide your pain." Soothed Frost as he patted her back, a small group of tears running down his face as he felt pain upon seeing her like this. His loved ones in pain, true physical or in this case emotional pain was never something he wanted to see. His family should always have smiles on their faces, their lives filled with wonder and joy that’s what would make happy not this.
Hearing the comfort in his words Khione cried even harder, her grip on his body unconsciously tightening to the point that he felt a great deal of pain but despite that he refused to let out even a single whimper, staying true to his role as a supporting force.
An hour later Khione rested her head against Frost’s shoulder as they sat side by side, her eyes red and puffy from the flood of tears. Their fingers firmly interlocked in a tight embrace as Frost occasionally placed a light peck on her head like the perfect partner he was.
"Do you feel better after letting it all out?" He whispered in her ear, his own emotions becoming calmer after she stopped crying.
"Un." Khione meekly nodded in response, staying comfortably in her current position, enjoying the feeling of resting her head against his chiselled shoulders.
Frost let her be for another minute or so before trying to address the subject of her revenge.
"Personally speaking I’m not all that bothered by your family spying on us and to be honest I kind of expected it from at least your mother and father. I can also forgive Uncle’s attempt to smite me because deep down I know it came from a desire to protect you plus I don’t think he would have really pulled the trigger but those are just my feelings." He brushed aside Khione’s hair, curling it behind her ear as he explained, doing his best to be both supportive of her feelings and logical in regards to the situation at hand. His words were genuine and from the heart, bereft of any lies and falsehoods. He really wasn’t bothered by their actions, this included Shivali’s sordid attempt on his life.
Khione of course wasn’t nearly as magnanimous as him. She swiftly turned her head and was about to argue but Frost wasn’t finished.
"But what I can’t stand is the way it made you feel, those tears that fell from your eyes, the agonised wails that came from the depths of your heart...none of that is acceptable in my book so no matter what you want, no matter how far you want to take your revenge I will support you 100%." He gently stroked her cheek as he stared dead centre into those beautiful eyes of hers. "You need someone to hold their arms while you punch or if you need a wall to bounce ideas off or if you need me to be your source of reason, your true north to stop you from doing something you’d regret then I’m your man." Frost was in favour of anything that would bring back that smile to her lips.
When Khione heard his words and saw the honesty in his eyes the painful fog rattling around in her head was cleared, as though a sword cleaved through the sky letting her once again see the beauty of the stars. That alone made her heart swell with warmth and love and even brought the smile Frost had so dearly missed back to her lips.
"That’s right you’re MY man." Her fingers tightened their grasp and a possessive look formulated in her eyes.
Frost was her man, for now and forever.
