"What are you looking at?" Caelus inquired calmly.
"Something tells me that you are more powerful than the others. But I cannot say how much more," Baal said with a cold, analytical look.
"Well, I am strong enough to defeat you before you even get to move."
"Arrogant pest!" His expression twisted into deep disdain. "A puny thing from the Lower Expanse is not enough to entertain me!"
As it spoke, the massive monster activated its Projection Frame. His huge body glitched violently, skipping physical space to appear directly above Caelus with his heavy sword crashing down.
To any normal player, that erratic, teleporting movement was impossible to track.
But Caelus smiled beneath his white rat mask. "Smile for the camera, Mr. World Boss."
His newly awakened Chaos Perception Eyes flared with mythical power. The golden, clock-like structure around his red iris ticked forward. His visual perception was instantly amplified twofold. The choppy, six-frames-per-second glitching of the behemoth suddenly looked like a poorly edited, painfully slow slideshow. He could clearly see the exact spatial gaps and the precise coordinates of where Baal would physically render next.
The clock ticked once more, draining a noticeable chunk of his energy, and the terrifying boss that was glitching out of reality froze solid, heavily stunned by the eye’s supreme crowd-control effect.
In the following moment, Caelus saw a glowing golden light expose itself near the monster’s thick shoulder. The critical weak point.
Now, it was time to burn his reserves and spam his skills!
His Tempest Dagger materialized in his grip. His Lightning Domain erupted, turning a violent golden-black due to his draconic transformation. His Chaos Axiom pool rapidly drained as he unleashed a devastating combo. He swiftly cast Fireball, landing a direct hit on the monster’s face. He immediately followed it up with a straight, piercing thrust toward the glowing golden light. Lightning compressed to a microscopic point and shot directly through the same shoulder wound.
His Shadow Hand, now taking on a terrifying golden-black hue, smashed into the beast, followed instantly by a dual Weapon Barrage.
All of these high-tier skills were unleashed in a mere fraction of two seconds, draining his energy reserves heavily to maximize the burst damage.
"H-Huh?" Baal let out a choked shout of disbelief as he stood frozen. He only saw a blinding flash of golden light before the space around him violently exploded.
Boom!
The combined powers erupted all at once. The entire city square, including the safe zone where the observing players stood, shook violently.

"Huh?" Caelus showed a heavily baffled look when he saw the meager health points removed from the boss.
"How are you not dead yet?" Caelus tilted his head in genuine surprise. His skills scaled with his high Combat Score. A heavy barrage like that should have instantly vaporized the boss. Especially when his dagger attack alone hit with a Combat Score of 40, boosted by the +2 combat score critical hit from his Chaos Perception Eyes finding the weak point.
He estimated that combo should have easily one-shotted the boss. Yet all of those lethal strikes combined dealt a mere 25 damage!
The thick smoke cleared. Baal stood there with a freezing cold, mocking look on his monstrous face.
"You Lower Domain trash do not know the existence of mods, it seems," Baal chuckled coldly.
But his arrogant laughter was cut short. He violently winced in pain as the terrifying erosion effect of the Chaos Axiom energy took root. Black blood began to profusely leak from his shattered shoulder.

"It seems like this so-called massive defensive mod you boast about is rapidly losing its effect," Caelus noted with a wide grin.
Baal looked down in pure terror.
Caelus was correct. The defensive mod shielding his body was rapidly crumbling under the chaotic erosion, deteriorating far faster than his dropping HP.
The boss broke free from the stun and raised his heavy sword to strike. Yet, before he could advance a single step, the golden clock in Caelus’s eyes ticked again.
A massive mana drain hit Caelus’s mind, but Baal was forcefully stunned once more!
This time, Caelus blurred forward, driving his Tempest Dagger directly into the monster’s thick legs!

He then turned his draconic, golden eyes toward the invisible barrier where the stunned players were breathlessly watching.

Right before the massive corpse digitalized and broke apart into particles of light, Caelus managed to place his hand firmly against its fading body.
He smiled widely beneath his mask.
