Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Sienna, You Provoked Me First

Chloe came back from the shower and picked up her phone to set an alarm.

She immediately saw the message Julian Prescott sent her.

Seeing it was a voice message, she was a bit curious.

Julian Prescott couldn’t speak, so he couldn’t possibly send her a voice message.

She immediately clicked to listen with the phone held to her ear.

A voice she was all too familiar with sounded inside.

"Sienna, are you really so heartless that you don’t want me anymore?"

Hearing this voice, Chloe was so frightened that she dropped the phone onto the bed as if she had seen a ghost.

Her eyes carried an unmistakable panic.

Why would Silas send her such a message?

Could it be that he recognized her?

The thought of this possibility brought a cold sweat to Chloe’s forehead.

She knew the consequences of being recognized by Silas.

Silas had told her that if she dared to run again, he would break her legs, making sure she could never escape again.

Chloe took a long breath.

Recalling every encounter she had with Silas, she was sure she didn’t leave any clues.

So how could he have recognized her?

If this were true, she shouldn’t ignore this strange message.

Thus, Chloe sent Julian a message full of question marks.

[?????]

[Did your dad pick up the wrong phone and send someone else’s message to me?]

Julian quickly replied to Chloe.

[Yes, yes, I sent the wrong message.]

Seeing this message, Chloe, who was on the brink of despair, came back to life.

Thankfully, it was sent by mistake; otherwise, the consequences would be unimaginable.

But this message from Silas still had a significant impact on her.

The entire night, she kept dreaming about being with Silas.

She dreamt of the end of the college entrance exams, sitting on the sofa watching TV, waiting for Silas to come back from work. She wanted him to help with her college application choices.

But she waited for a long time, and Silas never returned. She leaned on the sofa and unknowingly fell asleep.

When she opened her eyes again, a handsome face appeared in front of her.

The man’s deep eyes were staring at her without blinking.

His hot breath, heavy with the smell of alcohol, sprayed onto her face.

Sienna quickly sat up, her voice soft as cotton: "Brother, did you drink too much? Let me get you some hangover soup."

But just as she was about to stand up, her wrist was seized by Silas.

With a strong pull, Sienna fell into his arms. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

At that moment, Sienna was like a frightened little rabbit, her eyelashes fluttering violently, her heart about to jump out of her throat.

She timidly called out, "Brother."

Silas let out a husky sound from his throat, "Sienna, do you like me?"

At that moment, Sienna was shocked at hearing this.

A burning sensation spread across her face.

She had liked Silas since she was fifteen.

Silas, to her, was like a beam of light in her life—bright and dazzling. But his status and position were heights she could never reach in her lifetime.

So, she could only secretly bury her feelings deep within her heart.

She had never told anyone, not even Lucy Rhodes, who she told everything.

Now, being suddenly asked this by Silas, she felt her heartbeat soaring to two hundred.

She shook her head vigorously, "No."

Silas looked at her with profound eyes, "Sienna, think it through before you answer me. No lying, or I’ll punish you."

Faced with his questioning, Sienna dared not disobey.

She looked at Silas’s face, which made her heart flutter, then gently nodded and quietly said, "I like you."

Hearing this, Silas let out a husky laugh from his throat.

He gently stroked Sienna’s lips, "Sienna, if you like someone, you must find a way to get them. Otherwise, one day they’ll fly away."

Sienna looked at Silas in disbelief.

In her heart, Silas was the pride of heaven, someone she could never obtain no matter how hard she tried.

What did he mean by saying this?

Seeing her red-faced and staring at him unblinkingly, Silas slowly leaned towards her lips.

His eyes filled with uncontrollable desire.

In a raspy voice, he said, "Don’t be afraid, I can teach you how to get the person you like."

Before Sienna could react, he kissed her on the lips.

Feeling his soft lips, sensing his burning temperature.

Sienna’s eyes widened, and she quickly pushed Silas away.

Her voice carried the panic of a young girl, "We can’t."

They shouldn’t be doing something so intimate, Grandpa Prescott would be mad if he found out.

Silas’s breathing was a bit uneven, his breath even hotter, "Sienna, don’t be afraid. If I say it’s okay, it’s okay."

With that, he kissed her lips again.

Faced with the person she had liked for years, Sienna’s resistance vanished in Silas’s domineering yet gentle kiss.

Soon, she was completely lost.

Until in the end, she cried and begged for mercy, and only then did Silas let her go.

Later, to escape from Silas, Sienna returned to her hometown alone.

But, before she had been there long, Silas found her.

He even bought an apartment near her school, insisting she move there.

Sienna refused, but during a meal with the Prescotts, he secretly held her hand.

Despite it being Grandpa Prescott’s birthday, with so many people downstairs, he took her upstairs, endlessly engaging with her.

Sienna finally realized she had provoked someone she shouldn’t have.

Since then, Silas arranged for her to stay in the apartment.

Every day after school, she had to return home promptly. She couldn’t go out with classmates or accept things from others.

Even if there was something at school, she couldn’t be late returning home.

Being a minute late would result in a punishment.

And Silas’s punishment was ceaselessly tormenting her.

Until she was exhausted, crying and begging for mercy.

Silas would often kiss her tears, saying, "Sienna, you’re so alluring when you cry. I can’t help myself."

To Sienna at that time, Silas was like damp air.

Always giving her a sticky feeling and an inescapable sense of oppression.

He would appear unexpectedly, wrapping her tightly in his gentleness.

Controlling everything about her, leaving her nearly unable to breathe.

He often said, "No matter where you run, I’ll find you."

The entire night, Sienna was haunted by this dream.

When the alarm rang, Chloe suddenly sat up in bed.

Her clothes were already soaked with sweat.

She had the dream again.

Even though she had escaped from Silas, she couldn’t escape his persistent entanglement in her dreams.

Chloe got up to take a shower.

Put on her clothes and went downstairs.

The sound of clattering dishes came from the kitchen.

She was about to walk into the kitchen to check, but saw a man sitting on the sofa, someone she couldn’t be more familiar with.

Chloe was so startled that her hands shook, and the glass of water in her hand fell to the ground and shattered.
