Entering Apocalypse in Easy-Mode-Chapter 445: Weakened
Chapter 445: Weakened
From the broken edge of the ruined platform, Asqa watched the clash with eyes wide and sharp, her breath caught somewhere between awe and calculation.
The flashes of power before her were dazzling. Blades of light and darkness exploding in rhythm like an incredible storms of magic power condensed into sword strikes.
Each impact was a chaos. There were multiple events like crack of marble, the whine of twisted force of gravity, and the low boom of higher beings magic attack clashing .
She could feel it in her bones.
The raw magic, the pressure of a higher being figbting his equal, coursed through the air like a living thing.
It brushed her skin with invisible claws and rattled her bones like a drum. Every nerve screamed in response to the weight of power they exuded.
If she had still been a normal mortal she would have been shattered.
Her soul torn, her body obliterated, and her mind would broken under the sheer magical presence that spilled from Tsukuyomi and Clyde.
But she was no longer mortal.
Asqa had changed. She had accepted and tapped into the power of the Ancient One and ot was as if she was reborn. No longer just a wielder of magic but also a vessel of something far older and more terrible.
Just like Clyde himself. Now, she was something other than her old self.
She was powerful enough to walk alongside the Celestials, Demons, and Archangels and kill them.
She let her wand glow letting its core flaring to life. The system interface scrolled across her vision like a spellbook etched into her soul.
Her internal arsenal pf skills unfolded. She now have hundreds of skills she can use after her grinding.
But she only needed one right now.
She need a skill that would burn through Tsukuyomi’s flesh and would cling, corrode, and consume even a being of Tsukuyomi’s magnitude.
Her fingers twitched as she activated her skill.
[Lunacyst Brand].
The name pulsed through her thoughts with clarity. It was a curse skill that looks like a normal flash light. It will create damage-over-time hex designed specifically to her target.
Her lips curled in a silent smirk as a sigil formed above her palm in a pale violet ringof light
The skill hung in the air for a heartbeat then launched like a comet straight toward Tsukuyomi’s flank, just as his blade came crashing down again toward Clyde.
She didn’t wait to see if it landed.
Her body shifted, cloak swirling with the momentum of magic. Flames and black mist kindled behind her like wings.
She start to move as well.
---
Tsukuyomi caught a flash of violet light from his left.
But he dismissed it. His focus remained locked on Clyde. The battlefield had become a storm of chaos that every strike and pulse of energy bleeding light and shadow into the ruins.
To the Moon God, that flash was just another arc of residual magic or another ripple from their clash.
His blade came down with strong slash filled with fury, parrying Clyde’s Elderglass sword with a resounding noise, sending sparks and gravity-ripples crashing outward.
And that’s when it struck. Yhe [Lunacyst Brand] skill hit him.
The sigil latched onto his side, he can’t see it yet but it was burrowing into his essence. Violet rings pulsed through his armor. It was soft at first then seething like infection crawling beneath his skin.
He had no time to process it because in that instant, Clyde moved.
As fast as a blink of an eye, he leaned back. His black mist curling behind him, then thrust his palm forward.
[Pure Lightning] of blue and white color that looks contrast with the black erupted from his hand.
It wasn’t just lightning. It was a very high voltage honed by the power of Ancient One. The bolt screamed as it tore through space like a jagged radiant white and blie spear that slammed into Tsukuyomi’s chest.
The Moon God barely had time to widen his eyes.
The impact detonated. A shockwave blasted outward, searing the temple floor in white-hot spirals.
Wounds cracked around Tsukuyomi’s body as he was hurled across the battlefield and slamming into a distant marble pillar that split apart from the force.
CRACK!
He hit the ground in a rolling crash, dust and embers spiraling around him.
For a moment, everything stilled.
Tsukuyomi slowly pushed himself up. Dirt smearing across his robes, his elegant armor flickering with damaged parts.
Then he felt it. His breath stopped. Something was wrong.
His limbs felt heavier. His vision blurry and his grip on his blade trembled. The light within him pulsed unevenly.
The sigil from [Lunacyst Brand] pulsed again. Its violet ring tightening inwards, feeding its hex deeper into his spiritual form.
And with growing dread, Tsukuyomi realized that he was weakening rapidly.
"What...?" he muttered. His voice cracked, barely audible beneath the thunder echoing through the ruins. "What is this...?"
His heartbeat echoed unnaturally in his chest. He staggered as if something unseen had grabbed his soul and began squeezing.
Fear began to creep into the Moon God’s heart.
"What happened to me...?"
Clyde watched Tsukuyomi with cold eyes.
The Moon God’s breathing had become unsteady. His glow flickered like a dying flame. His blade now sagged ever so slightly.
Clyde could see the weakening.
He turned his gaze to the side.
Asqa hovered a few meters away. Clyde gave her a single nod.
Asqa’s heart leapt. She understood instantly. It was time.
Without hesitation, she surged forward, her feet lifting off the ground as wings of flame and darkness burst behind her. The air around her shimmered with heat and pressure as she raised her wand high and activating her skill.
Three massive fireballs bloomed into existence around her. Each one is ten meters wide and looked like molten crimson fire that laced with corruption.
Tsukuyomi looked up just in time to see the sky above him light up.
His eyes widened
He raised his hand, calling upon his magic. He tried to form a barrier that once could repel such attack but nothing came.
There’s only a flicker and stutter. The energy recoiled inside him.
The [Lunacyst Brand] had eaten too deep. The poison had spread. The circuits within him were unraveling.
And then the fireballs struck.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
The impact rocked the entire battlefield. Explosions tore the ruins apart. Waves of fire and shock cascaded in all directions, turning ancient marble to slag and sending debris hundreds of meters into the air.
The sky lit up in a tower of flame. Tsukuyomi’s scream was lost in the inferno.
His body was engulfed, thrown into the ground with bone-breaking force as the firestorm consumed him.
He burned. And when the flames at last began to recede they can see that Tsukuyomi lay on the ground. Smoking, blackened, and motionless.
The Moon God now broken and charred. He was writhing weakly in a crater.
