Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy-Chapter 2511: The Coming Event
Nobody was surprised when Alex formed the pill cloud. By now, there had been dozens of people who had managed to do it, so he was just one of the many ones capable of making it happen.

Silvermist and the rest still cheered for him when that happened, but they were mostly the only ones.
Not a short distance away from them, Fairy Xin and Shumi sat with their faces veiled and watched the spectacle. Shumi was quite excited by it all, but unlike her, Fairy Xin instead dreaded what she saw.
She hadn’t been here from the start. She had only arrived a few years ago so that she had to spend as little time as possible in this world. The less she stayed in this world, the less danger there was of being caught.
As a result, she wasn’t aware of how good the young alchemists were, except for what Dumei had told her in their conversations. She had mentioned that most of them were hiding their potential, but this was just too much for her.
Watching alchemists make pills after pills with pill clouds forming every few hours was not something she expected to see even from the best of the younger generation.
This painted a very dark picture for the future of her species. The demons were already weak as they were, with less land than the humans. If the humans came back to finish them off, then their chances of survival were very small. And worse, with pills as good as these, humans could be so much more flexible in their battles.
Not to mention the different pills these alchemists were making. If such pills were eaten before the battle, then that would change things even more.
Shumi did not see that, not yet. She knew the survival of the demon species hung on her shoulders, but she had not seen war. She could not recognize the signs of how weak they were.
To her, the spectacle was just something to enjoy. She did not worry about herself when watching this.
Fairy Xin wondered at times if she should tell Shumi about all of this, but the youthful ignorance of her was something she didn’t want to destroy more than she already had.
’Master is going to be angry we failed,’ she thought.
Still, maybe if she could lure the young alchemist using Shumi, he could teach them what they needed to know. Maybe, by the time the war came around some thousand years later, they would be ready for it.
Fairy Xin nodded to herself, thinking that was a good idea. It was the best one she had, at least for now.
Her thoughts went into disarray a second later when she realized something. She watched the lightning bolt in the sky come down for Alex, but the speed at which it moved was incredibly slow.
For a moment, she thought something had happened to the lightning, as though someone had interfered with it. But when she noticed the other people around her moving just as slowly, she realized she was the one affected by it.
"You were supposed to leave this place five days ago," a voice spoke into her ear from her right.
Without even turning, Fairy Xin could tell that the man she had spoken to before was sitting right next to her. She wanted to turn her head and look at him, but the fear within her at the moment stopped her from doing so.
Her divine sense was already around the man, and yet she still couldn’t see any of his features. Not even what he looked like.
"I… I decided to stay," Fairy Xin said slowly. "I… I thought the danger was gone."
"The danger is not the issue here," the man said. "Our world is on the precipice of a major event. A major decision is to be made very soon that will decide all of our fate. She must be away at that point, for if she remains here, they cannot make the necessary decision."
Fairy Xin’s heart beat faster and faster, and she began feeling worried about what was to come. "May… may I ask a question?" she stammered.
"Go ahead," the man said.
"If it is necessary that we leave, then why did you make us stay?" she asked.
"I told you before," the man said. "I needed her to stay because of what her presence is capable of. However, should she stay too long, her presence becomes a hindrance instead. You need to leave as soon as you can. You are already late; let’s just hope it’s not too much just yet."
Fairy Xin could not begin to fathom what the man was hinting at, but given the gravity of his words, she chose to believe him without question.
"We’ll leave right away," she said.
"Go," the man said. "If fate is on our side, you’ll leave this world before the tournament’s end."
The slowness vanished, and time flowed normally again. The lightning bolt struck where Alex was, and she could see him easily block it.
The man next to her was gone after that. She hadn’t even been able to sense when he left. At this point, there was no doubt in her mind.
The man who spoke to her just now was most definitely in the Celestial realm.
Fairy Xin stood up from her seat and grabbed onto Shumi, who hadn’t noticed anything. Shumi turned around in confusion.
"We’re leaving," Fairy Xin said and pulled her away. Very soon, they would be out of the stadium and on their way to the Pillheaven Continent. From there, she would go to the Eclipsing Heaven. If fate was on her side, then she would be out of this world long before whatever was coming.
She couldn’t help but wonder what that situation could be.

Up in the Chamber of Gods, both Storm God and Winter God noticed the sudden change. Something had happened just now, and neither of them could find the origin of the event. The other gods weren’t even aware that something had happened at all.
The two searched around with their senses, but neither managed to notice anything strange. Something had happened, and it had evaded their notice. That was even more worrying to them than the strange situation itself.
"Should we check?" the Storm God asked.
The Winter God took a moment to think but shook her head. "I don’t know where to even begin. Let’s just keep our senses alert for when it happens again."
The two nodded and decided to wait.

Grimsight sensed something strange happening. At the peak of the Divine realm, his senses were the best of the ones around, and they were spread around strongly too.
He turned around, confused at what he had sensed. Up in the seats, he saw two veiled women getting up and leaving. As they walked away, they left behind a trail of aura that he could see.
’Time aura?’ Grimsight looked at them with a strange look. However, he couldn’t figure out anything beyond just that.

After a while, the women were gone, and all he could do was keep looking at the strange aura as it dissipated away. Then, he turned around and focused back on the competition, ignoring everything else.
