“So, what should we do next, Lady Ancestor? Will that snake… I mean Greenie… be able to deal with that outsider?” Luna asked, her voice laced with concern as she looked into Ciel’s eyes.

“If they were in the same realm, Greenie would definitely not be able to defeat her. That outsider… she makes me feel uneasy.”

Ciel’s gaze remained fixed on the screen, where thunder spread across the sky, and at the heart of it, the petite figure whose aura was constantly rising.

Her brows furrowed tightly as she said, “No, I need to go over there myself.”

“Wait, you’re going there for real?”

Before Luna could say more, she watched as Ciel’s eyes lost their usual sparkle. Her body went limp, and she collapsed to the ground.

Chris, who had been prepared for this, swiftly placed a small mattress behind Ciel to cushion her fall.

“This is…” Luna looked at the fallen Ciel in confusion.

Chris sneered.

“Are you stupid or what? You didn’t realize that Miss Ciel isn’t in her original body all this while?”

“How would I know if that’s her original body or not?” Luna shot back, glaring at the little robot, who was starting to annoy her.

“Hmph.”

Chris tossed his head arrogantly. “Did you forget that Miss Ciel is a demigod-level being from who knows how many years ago? If she were standing before you in her original body, do you think you’d still be able to speak normally? Don’t be silly. The overwhelming pressure a demigod radiated would make you wet your pants instantly!”

“You!” Luna raised her fist but stopped herself and lowered it again.

Fighting and arguing with a robot was too beneath her.

“So where is Ciel… I mean my ancestor’s original body, then?”

Chris glanced at the screen and replied, “Of course, it’s in the place closest to the battlefield.” With that, Chris ignored Luna and used his two mechanical arms to lift the soft mattress and place it beside a cylindrical life-support device.

He pressed a button, and the cylindrical pod opened. At that moment, countless lights flickered to life around them. Luna looked around and saw what was inside.

Countless cylindrical devices stood around her, filled with a greenish liquid. As Chris activated the device, the liquids inside shifted, and Luna caught a glimpse of a familiar face—one exactly like Ciel’s.

“Then… what are those?” Luna’s voice faltered, her face paling in shock.

“Tsk, so ignorant.” Chris’ electronic face displayed a comically disdainful expression as it glanced at Luna, clearly unimpressed. “Those… are just Miss Ciel’s former bodies.”

“Ugh… what is happening…?” Lilith regained consciousness, attempting to open her eyes and survey her surroundings.

Thankfully, it seemed she hadn’t been caught by Three yet.

Lilith breathed a sigh of relief, immensely grateful that she had managed to hold onto her sanity and hadn’t fallen under the influence of that damned Dragon Eater. If she had, the situation might have been truly irreversible.

“Lilith! You’re finally awake!”

Erica was so excited to see Lilith awake that she pounced on her, grabbing her and shaking her vigorously.

Lilith froze for a moment as she processed the unfamiliar face. Then it clicked—she was that silly girl named Erica, but in her older sister’s body.

“Alright, alright. I’m still alive, no need to get so excited. You’re going to make me throw up my dinner from last night if you keep shaking me like this.”

“No… no, I’m trying tell you to look at that!” Erica continued to shake her, pointing toward something not far away.

Lilith, fighting back the nausea threatening to rise, tilted her head with difficulty. Then she saw it—the hideous serpentine monster coiled in the lake.

“Holy crap, it’s huge. What is that thing?” Lilith stared at the creature, dumbfounded. Having lived so long, she had never seen a monster so horrific.

But…

Lilith frowned, puzzled. For some reason, when she looked at the creature, there was an inexplicable sense of familiarity. She searched her memory, trying to place where that feeling came from, but no answers came.

“No, not that one! Over there!”

Seeing that Lilith wasn’t looking in the right direction, Erica quickly grabbed Lilith’s head and turned it to face a different direction. It was then… Lilith saw the sky, filled with lightning.

“This is the… heavenly tribulation?” Lilith murmured in a daze.

Lilith was no stranger to heavenly tribulations. Although she had never personally experienced it, she knew well that anyone who broke through to the Saint Realm would face their own heavenly tribulation.

It was common sense. Yet Lilith had never seen a heavenly tribulation so terrifying. The sky above was filled with an apocalyptic storm. Countless thunder serpents surged and ripped through the sky.

Just looking at it from afar sent a suffocating sense of oppression into her chest.

And the petite figure at the center of the storm… it felt strangely familiar…

“Is that… Three?” Lilith exclaimed in shock. “What is she doing? Isn’t she the one who seized someone else’s body and is terrified of thunder? Is she trying to commit suicide by calling down all this lightning?”

Lilith had once used the goddess’ Cursed Thunder to force Three back, but the storm before her now was clearly far more terrifying than the small thunder she had summoned.

“I… don’t know. When I was escaping with you earlier, that strange girl almost caught us but that big guy saved us,” Erica replied, pointing to the serpentine monster.

“Then that strange girl seemed to be afraid she couldn’t handle the big guy, so she did something, and her realm suddenly skyrocketed. And now…” Erica trailed off, uncertainty in her voice. “It seems like she’s transcending a tribulation…?” she added.

“She’s definitely transcending one… and not just any tribulation!” Lilith exclaimed.

Even as Three stood within the storm, the aura surrounding her was unmistakable. It was the same divine power Lilith had felt before—every time she encountered it, her heart trembled with fear.

That was divine power, the supreme force that governed the laws of the world.

“S̲h̲i̲t̲, s̲h̲i̲t̲, s̲h̲i̲t̲! I just woke up, and now she’s already advancing to Demigod Realm? That’s absurd!” Lilith cursed, panic rising within her. The first thought that came to her mind was to run. She had to get out of this place—fast.

But just as she tried to stand up, Lilith awkwardly tumbled back onto the ground.

“Almost forgot…” she muttered to herself. Her limbs had been severed by that damn person.

In the few minutes since, they had already started to regenerate to some extent. The bones had regrown enough to form a long section, but it would still take time before they were fully restored.

As Three had said, the dragon bone was the foundation of a dragon’s strength, and there were very few things in this world capable of damaging it. However, once the dragon bone was seriously harmed, recovery was painfully slow compared to normal flesh and blood.

“Damn it, the Storage Ring is still on my finger… I can’t use a Healing Scroll.” Lilith gritted her teeth in frustration. If she had access to recovery magic, her limbs would have healed much faster.

“Oh, that one. I have it with me,” Erica said, suddenly pulling a fair arm from nowhere.
