Evolution Online: Building a Kingdom with 100\% drop rate-Chapter 25: Ch-: Summoning the Territory Lord
Edward looked at Victor with his mouth agape and even rubbed his eyes to check if he was hallucinating.
"Even though I am stronger than the Young Master, I wouldn’t dare be this reckless... what the hell is that black lightning?" Edward cursed inwardly and then narrowed his eyes as he looked at the black lightning.
Edward’s heart tightened when he saw his head cleaved off his shoulder, but the same thing happened as before—the severed part turned into black lightning and rushed back to his body, reforming his head.
"Did you see that?"
"The Young Master just reattached his body!"
"Is this what a mutated Warlock Bloodline looks like?"
The troops were watching with wide eyes, and there was a trace of awe and reverence just from this display.
Edward pulled out his dagger as he began dashing towards the huge monsters that completely ignored him and focused their eyes on Victor. Taking advantage of this, he began attacking them.
A red crescent dagger, about 12 inches long, struck out and hit the chest of one of the monsters closest to Victor, but the strange thing was that it was still focused only on Victor, as if Edward did not exist at all.
Victor noticed Edward but remained focused on the monsters that were surrounding him and closest to him. He turned into black lightning and went behind one of them, launching a few Lightning Claw attacks and killing it almost effortlessly. He kept attacking until he killed all the mutated monsters in sight.

This caught the other monsters’ attention in surprise as they attacked him with their fists, but their attacks passed through his body, and instead, they were electrocuted by black lightning.
"Young Master, what kind of skill is that?" Edward asked as he looked at Victor, who had just appeared beside him by turning into lightning after killing a few more beasts.
Victor looked at Edward and replied in a calm tone, "It’s an SS Rank skill which makes me immune to attacks from enemies of the same or lower tier."
Edward’s pupils contracted to the size of needles upon hearing his words and cried out inwardly, "Holy... doesn’t this make the Young Master invincible within the same tier?"
"Young Master, it was still a risky plan to use a monster-attracting potion on yourself to act as bait," Edward said with a hint of frustration as he eyed Victor.
Victor smirked as he looked at Edward and said with a shrug, "But the plan was effective—in that way, you and the troops would be free to kill the monsters without any danger, wouldn’t it?"
Edward opened his mouth to protest but had no words to retort and could only remain speechless.
"Anyway, we need to clear the monsters first to summon the Territory Lord and turn this into a dungeon," Victor said with a serious look, to which Edward nodded. Then, under stunned eyes, Victor waved his hands and hundreds of monster-attracting potions appeared out of thin air.
"Huh, where did they appear from suddenly?"
"Just how many monster-attracting potions are these?"
"Gulp... if they break, the number of mutated buffalos that would appear..."
The knights’ eyes bulged out when they saw the potions appear suddenly.
"Young Master, this... is the inventory Warlock skill, isn’t it... you also awakened this skill?" Edward looked at Victor with wide eyes.
"Yep, I did. Surprised? I also emptied the entire stock from the warehouse," Victor said, and then reached to grab one of the potions and started pouring them one by one over himself under everyone’s terrified gaze.
Gulp.
Edward started sweating profusely even though he understood the plan, and looked around—and sure enough...
The ground started to shake as if a stampede was approaching them. Victor used his Danger Zone skill, and his expression changed as beads of sweat started to form on his forehead.
"Edward, during the fight, make sure to keep an eye on the troops," Victor said in a serious tone.
Edward nodded silently as he understood Victor’s intention—to decrease casualties, preserve the troops, and help them grow stronger. If they got into a dangerous situation, Edward would step in and prevent them from dying. They already had a small army and had to preserve what they had until it grew larger, while also helping them become stronger.
"Oh shit..." one of the soldiers saw the monsters and his legs almost turned to jelly.
After a few minutes, the group could see more clearly what was around them, and they were almost scared to death. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
Mutated Buffalos, whose size was comparable to that of an elephant, were charging towards them, and at this moment they were no more than 100 meters away. They stared at them with their large red eyes filled with bloodlust and moved the horns on their heads in stabbing motions.
"Hah... looks like I overdid it, Edward," Victor looked at the rows of mutated buffalos who were glaring at him with red eyes as if they wanted to tear him apart, and he broke out in a cold sweat even though he knew he was immune to their attacks.
Edward turned to look at him stiffly and said in a hoarse voice, "You think?"
Victor took a deep breath and chugged down a mana potion to recover his spent mana.
Victor then turned into black lightning and appeared at a distance from the troops, and all of them charged in the direction where he had landed.
In the next moment, all sorts of attacks passed through his body.
"Everyone, start attacking!" Victor shouted at the top of his voice as he turned his hands into Black Lightning Claws and started attacking them.
"Charge!" Edward shouted, and the knights rushed forward and started killing them one by one. To their relief, all the monsters they attacked ignored them and kept their eyes trained on Victor, making it easier for them to kill them. And if by any chance one of them attacked and they were in danger, Edward would appear beside them and neutralize the threat.
One hour.
Two hours.
Five hours.
Fourteen hours.
Nearly fourteen hours later, the ground was littered with thousands of corpses of mutated buffalos, and kill and drop notifications kept appearing on Victor’s retina, which he ignored.
[Ding Dong]
[You have killed all the monsters in the Forest of Darkness]
When this message appeared on everyone’s panel, they sighed in relief between their heavy breathing.
"Huff... finally," Edward said as he chugged down a mana recovery potion, but before they could celebrate, a cold mechanical voice echoed in everyone’s ears.
[Ding Dong]
[Territory Lord will be summoned in five minutes]
Victor’s expression changed as he checked the massive haul of experience points he had gained. He looked at his troops, and many of them had reached the peak of Tier 0, while many had reached Tier 1.
Without hesitation, he started pouring the points to level himself up.
