The beach was in total ruins, the ISA air craft had fled immediately Lady Phoenix’s wings flared up and they were already a mile away when our swords clashed against each other violently.

The air was thick and the smell of burnt sulphur was palpable.

I stood at one end, the forever amor glinting faintly under any light that dared to touch it. Its sleek, golden design was a stark contrast to the chaos we had created in matter of seconds.

The attack whooshed past me and slammed into the domain and almost instantly, I deactivated it.

I thought it was a one shot, one hit skill. That was until Lady Phoenix spun her wrists and like as if a fragment of the energy read her mind, it swirled towards me and grazed my shoulder, hitting my suit but not breaking it.

"Ohhh! That didn’t even get past the suit! That’s amazing!" Lady Phoenix roared with a greedy glint in her eyes.

She unleashed another long range attack again, skill after skill, each one more devastating than the last one.
