With an ear piercing noise, the ground exploded and everything within a range of a couple of kilometres was covered by ice, there even was a big ice mountain.
Its power was equally terrifying, these chains surpassed any weapon at 3rd Origin.
Weapons truly made to bring Ragnarök!
Neil’s current strength without using the phantom transformation or Pseudo Apotheosis state was still weaker than the beast kings.
But with these weapons in hand, he could have killed them without much trouble.
But it still felt something was missing, as if they could be even more terrifying.
Neil had played his fair share of action games back on Earth, so he thought of something creative.
Raising his hands slightly with palms facing up, Neil recalled the chains as they moved back quickly and wrapped around his arms.
Though not turning into tattoos.
"Alright, let’s try it." Then he took out the dual red blades, he wrapped the chains around the handles of the swords.
Instantly a message appeared before him.
[Would you like to merge the Primordial Chains of Calamity, Frost and Inferno with the dual short swords, the Blood Curse?]
"Ha, perfect, yes do it!" Neil replied, his lips curling into a big smile.
The chains and the two dual swords buzzed violently, sending the vibration into his arms.
The dual blades rapidly began to change.
On the right, the Inferno connected with the back of the handle of one sword, as its colour and shape changed, lava covering its surface.
Similar changes were happening to the other blade, as it became milky and beautiful, now emitting the same extreme cold.
It took a few minutes for the blades and the chains to merge but the result was truly mind blowing.
[Primordial Blades of Calamity, Frost and Inferno!]
Neil held the dual blades, one burning red and the other milky white, connected to the chains which were still wrapped around his arms.
He tried a few experiments instantly.
First turning them into tattoos, even the blades disappeared now.
And Neil could still summon only the chains, or just the blades, though they still retained the Frost and Inferno’s abilities.
Could this be any better?
Holding the two swords, he threw them forward, as they pierced through a large magma boulder.
Using a little force, he pulled and swung the boulder, throwing it upwards.
A stone that weighed several tons was thrown up just like that, it flew very high like a pebble.
As it started falling, Neil controlled the chains, swinging them as the blades slashed through the boulder rapidly.
It was complete and utter destruction.
THUD THUD THUD
Small stones, decayed, melting or freezing, rained down, they were now nothing more than pebbles, the chains had become even more terrifying.
They transformed back into chains, as Neil released a long breath, he really wanted to go and fight some creatures.
"I love these weapons already." The primordial blades turned into faint tattoos, resting in his soul space.
"What else have we got?" Neil looked at the storage space again, though he was already very much satisfied with these two treasures alone.

"Am I getting another familiar?" Neil quickly took out a burning red stone, it was the size of a fist and emitting heat.
The only change in its name from the previous stone was the term class.

"Oh, it’s not as great as the previous one, I guess we aren’t getting a new familiar after all." This stone was a bit disappointing.
Maybe all the energy was swallowed by those chains.
"At least it could be used to bring Magnar to Mythic class, not bad." He put it away, as this could only be used once Magnar had evolved to the next origin.
"Nemo, search for the best... wait, send teacher a message and ask if she can find me some good 2nd Origin flame core." Since he got a sugar mommy, it would be wasteful to not get her help.
"Alright master." Nemo instantly got to work.
After checking these things, he planned to check out the domains of the two beast kings.
Finally, his gaze turned to the last reward.
Taking it out, Neil saw a book which was of red and blue colour, appearing quite exquisite.
"A skill book?"

But before starting it, he decided to get more info.
"Nemo, you know about it?"
"Yes, from 3rd Origin, just by saturating your cores you won’t be able to evolve. There are more parameters, and transformation of your essence is one. I suggest you first properly learn about it from your teacher." Nemo replied before adding: "And I have sent the message."
"Thanks, hmm that’s all the rewards then. They were great." He put the book back in his storage.
Now it was time to check out the two soul space skills, he glanced into the soul space but it was still engulfed by darkness.
Maybe there was more to it too.
"Let’s check Soul Terror first." Neil mumbled and opened its description.

The greater and more sudden the emotional change, the heavier the pressure becomes.
Enemies within range suffer suppressed movement, disrupted mana flow, and mounting mental strain. At high intensity, the pressure can destabilize or even damage an opponent’s Soul Space.

"It is passive and will work based on the changes and intensity of my emotions? Hmm, a good skill..." Neil liked this one, then he looked at his original skill.
"Second is Phantom’s Imprint... what can this do?"

[Description]: Every creature possesses a Soul Space, some could access it while others couldn’t. A Soul Space ability that engraves a Phantom Imprint onto a target’s soul.
Imprinted targets can be tracked regardless of distance and suffer reduced spiritual resistance.
The target suffers constant Soul Space damage. The imprint can be triggered to cause a violent soul rupture, briefly stunning the target and fracturing their Soul Space.

"Ah, so this is more of a Soul Space attack, good, most people don’t possess high Soul Space resistance.
If I can target that directly, I might kill opponents without even lifting a finger." Neil nodded in satisfaction, both the skills were truly wonderful.
He decided to put the Phantom’s Imprint on everyone in his domain just so he could track them if things ever went wrong.
It wouldn’t harm them if he decided not to trigger it, it was just a precaution.
Again, just like the Blades of Calamity, he wanted to try out these skills on a live target but that would have to wait.
Now, the next thing to check were the phases of the phantom form.
"I have already used the 1st Phantom phase, time to check the 2nd and 3rd phases."
Neil calmed his mind completely, and after a thought, his body transformed quickly.
But it seemed phases were an upgraded version of each form, so he would have to start from the 1st phase.
