Chapter 34: Teleport

BANG

Right at that time, Nemo controlled a few drones that belonged to the settlement and crashed them into the core.

BOOOM

From all sides, powerful attacks landed on the core. As the earth arrow struck with massive force, it instantly cracked it and continued to push until the core broke into countless pieces.

Thankfully there were no barriers around it, like all the other realm cores.

With a loud sound, it shattered, startling a few Lizzardmen who were still there.

Suddenly a message popped before Neil as his lips curled up.

His eyes locked with Cynthia, as the queen suddenly felt that something was wrong.

"Cynthia Reid, you tasted good." Neil suddenly said, enraging the queen even further.

She could no longer hold back and rushed forward.

At any cost, she was going to kill him and bury the whole settlement along with him.

But just as she got close, his body started to disappear.

Cynthia understood why he dared to speak like that.

At full speed, she waved her hand, but it just slashed through empty air.

Neil was already gone, disappearing without a trace.

The snake queen could do nothing but envelope her surroundings in even more chaos, her anger bubbling over.

Not only did he kiss her, drink her blood, and mock her, he even managed to escape.

***

A long distance away, in the Lizzard territory.

Neil suddenly appeared inside his domain in the core room, as he let out a long breath.

That madwoman was really too crazy and powerful, just standing before her was like getting pricked by thousands of needles.

Neil pitied the people around her and the person who might marry her.

After taking several long breaths, he had finally calmed down.

That was one hell of an experience inside that settlement.

Just the number of times he had died to gain control over his phantom form was over a hundred, but in the end, he succeeded.

That was all that mattered.

"Haa, finally I can return to safety and grow without danger always lurking around me." Neil sighed, as he read the message before him.

[The linking core has been destroyed.]

[Would you like to use the single chance to teleport your domain into a different area?]

[Select your general territory.]

Thankfully he was given the choice to teleport to whichever territory he wanted, whether it be human territory or some other race.

But his location would still be random, he could teleport anywhere but still within human territory.

Of course, he wanted to leave this place as soon as possible.

Just imagining meeting Cynthia again after all that struggle made him feel a chill.

"Master, we succeeded!" beside him, Nemo’s voice sounded from the guardian’s body.

"Yeah, that we did. Now it’s time to go back." Neil mumbled. Of course, there was still danger among humans, but he could care about all that later.

’Right, wherever I land in human territory will certainly be better than this.’ He thought and walked out of the room. Then, opening the door, he glanced outside.

Bob, Rob the builders, and Mob from the workshop were all in their respective houses. The twin cooks, Fay and Ray, were in the kitchen.

On each of the watchtowers, one elf archer could be seen keeping an eye out.

And as usual, his familiar, Magnar, was still asleep.

Thankfully, he wasn’t gone for too long and no trouble appeared in this time.

The two cloud vultures were in the barracks after returning from a patrol. Everything was in order.

The two suns were slowly getting covered by a red moon. Soon, things might get more troublesome in case a link opened.

"Haa, I guess we can leave immediately." Neil spoke and gazed towards the sky, which was starting to turn dark.

Then he closed the door and walked back into his room.

After entering, he looked at the system messages that had popped before him earlier.

"My resistance towards poison and charm has increased. That madwoman was really strong." Sighing, he washed his face and hands and put on a different set of clothes.

Thankfully there was a small bathroom attached to his room, but he had to get water from his kitchen.

There was even a mirror on the wall, which might be a perk of his mythic class.

Neil wondered about the origin of these domains and had many questions about such things.

But humanity itself hadn’t discovered too much yet.

He walked to the mirror and glanced at himself, quite surprised at the changes.

Ever since he got abducted, this was the first time he was able to see himself.

And after the awakening, his appearance had slightly changed. His height was a bit taller, and his muscles seemed more refined and full of power.

His body was already fit and lean, yet now he appeared more oppressive. Along with his strength, his body too had undergone big changes.

"Right, my strength is already higher than gold class. I just hope I can continue to grow a bit more safely now." Neil mumbled to himself.

Then he noticed that even his silver-blue hair had grown considerably long.

"I should get a haircut too once I arrive in a human settlement. And I also need to earn a lot of shards to buy all the troops." Neil was quite excited about many things.

He wondered how strong his domain would be once he had purchased everything from the shop, such a powerful army.

All troops at the Mythic Class, at the same rank, who could even contend with him?

He was very curious about the giant and elven archer. There were only cloud vultures in his territory, two of them.

But despite being at the mythic rank, their speciality was scouting and such.

Their combat power, although above diamond class, still didn’t show mythic capability.

It seemed for that he would need to buy the giants and elven archers.

Finally, he took in the sight of the grassland before him and was happy to leave.

"Teleport now to the human territory." Neil said, as he sat on his bed and stared out of the window, shifting Magnar a bit.

[Initiating teleportation to human race.]

[Selecting random location...]

[Don’t leave your domain during the teleportation.]

After a few messages popped before him, his domain was covered by a bright light as it began to buzz.

Neil finally heaved a sigh of relief. This place was far too dangerous, although he had to show those Lizzardmen his phantom form.

But it was worth it. Not to mention that everyone in that settlement should already be dead.

And before leaving, he had made sure to remind Nemo to clear up all the memory, not leaving any trace of himself behind.

So even though those Lizzardmen had sent news of a human who could become phantom back to their leaders, it would be near impossible for them to link it to him.

His domain trembled and disappeared from the Lizzardmen territory.

Unlike what Neil expected, this time the teleportation wasn’t quick. Even after a couple of minutes, he could only see the white light outside.

While waiting, he finally decided to take a look at the world server. There were many things he was curious about.

Like the Global Chat, Trade Centre, the ranking board, and the clash battles. He was most curious about those.
