(Minutes Earlier…)

"Originally, I was planning to take my time destroying Arcanora." Beelzebub let out a calm statement as he locked eyes with each and every one of the Valkyries.

"But with this, I’m going to reduce this planet to ashes, much, much faster than I should." he ominously declared, no traces of amusement present in his pitch-black eyes.

To this, the Valkyries simply levitated a few centimeters off the moon, the rubble beneath their feet vibrating as they gradually donned their battle-armors.

Armor pieces clinked as it appeared on their beings, along with silvery, thread-like gossamer substances, all of which extended from their runes as it crisscrossed all over their body to give full form to the armor.

Spreading their wings menacingly, all whilst staring down at Beelzebub whose gaze was of complete solemnity, the Valkyries dashed towards him at breakneck speeds, their individual powers, combined to form a giant ball of complete chaos!

Instantly, Beelzebub spread out a palm in response and casted an ominous spell of his own!

"[Destructive Series: Orb of Avarice]."

-Plop-!

-Plop-!

Slowly feeling themselves embraced by a cool, almost heavenly, feeling, Aiden and Flynn gradually succumbed to it.

Opening their eyes slowly, watching as they sunk to the depths of what seemed to be a watery body, both brothers, felt themselves at peace.

But as if pulling them from whatever depths they were sinking into, both literally and figuratively, the celestial orbs occupying their bodies, exuded an instant burst of golden light, almost as if trying to reach for something.

Instantly, the youths snapped out of their daze, realizing that they were, actually, drowning!

-Glub-! Glub-! Glub-!

Swiftly, amidst the bubbles of air as they tried to gasp for oxygen, both quickly began to swim to the surface.

Using the golden rays of light from the celestial orbs that seemed to be extending towards a portion of the water’s body that had a slightly unnatural portion of water to it, the brothers rapidly kicked their legs in order to reach it as it was closing off slowly.

Although it was barely noticeable, save for the golden rays of light extending towards it, Aiden and Flynn would’ve completely missed it, effectively trapping themselves forever and drowning to death.

No sooner had they both swam through it though, they felt their body propel upwards at maximum speed, something akin to a wormhole of turbulent waves, transporting them to another layer of the body of water they were in.

And just like that, within a few seconds, they swam straight through the water’s surface, their mouths gasping for air as they did!

-Plop-!

-Plop-!

Glad to have finally escaped the frankly unexpected yet somewhat unsettling body of water, the sight Aiden and Flynn were met with, instantly wiped away whatever thoughts they were having.

There they were, floating atop the surface of a body of water.

And yet, the sight before them was upside down.

Below them, was a boundless stretch of white clouds, one that housed what seemed to be a labyrinthine maze that spread on for miles and miles on end.

The towering walls of the maze were made of transparent, shimmering glass, all of which were constantly refracting and reflecting the boundless, whiteness of the plane.

At the same time, the labyrinth, constantly twisted and turned unpredictably, as evidenced by the gleaming walls of glass which were rapidly shifting and changing, hell-bent on making navigation a total challenge.

Simply put, the body of water was the sky.

And the cloud, glassy labyrinth, was the ground.

As the brothers took in the sight, a singular, radiant, figure from afar soon caught their eyes, one that was situated at what seemed to be the very end of the maze.

’It almost looks like a-’

However, just before they could even comment, or fully comprehend what was going on here, an unknown wave of energy hit the brothers with a powerful gust.

Instantly, they blacked out and fell from the upside-down body of water they were in.

-Bang-!!

Careening gracelessly across the surface of the rough terrains, Anna picked herself up in a literal second with a forceful push of her shoulder off the ground, instantly executing a lateral, twirling mid-air spin.

Simultaneously, she pulled out her bow and fired the arrows in rapid succession with pinpoint accuracy!

’{Spectral Art – First Form: Solar Burst}-!’

In a heartbeat, multiple mana-based, golden-aura infused arrows, populated the view of her enemies, all of whom ranged from multiple A-tier ranked demons, orcs, vampires and dark elves to a single SS-tier ranked orc.

-Swish-! Swish-!! Swish-!!!

Killing most of them in an instant though, the arrows mercilessly puncturing through their flesh like a porcupine’s needles, only one remained.

Swiftly, the low-tiered SS-rank orc, same as Anna’s current core ranking (courtesy of the core advancement potion), stepped in front with a powerful roar, parrying all the arrows in his immediate path with his battle-axe and deflecting it with pinpoint accuracy.

"(Too slow human!!!)" the orc roared viciously in its own language, bolting forwards at breakneck speeds.

However, that had been a mistake as Anna, swiftly switched to the second form on the fly.

’{Spectral Art – Second Form: Solar Discharge}-!!’

Instantly, like a minefield, the earth exploded into chunks of stone and debris, burying the orc in its onslaught.

However, Anna wasn’t done yet as she instantly extended her palms and released a devastating burst of energy.

’[Luminescence Series: Radiance Burst]-!’

Not even able to recover from her attacks, the orc watched as a bright golden beam of energy, hurtled towards him with a disastrous force.

Pushing aside the debris and coating himself with aura, their own form of Prana and the energy that they as orcs used, the orc watched as the energy, pierced right through its torso without pause.

Unfortunately, he had been too late to coat himself with the energy in time, resulting in his death.

However, Anna, not even given the time to react, felt a crushing blow, send her flying straight into the skies.

-BAM-!

"Kah!" the Duchess coughed out a mouthful of blood, completely certain that she had broken more bones than she could know and had ruptured some of her internal organs.

Yet, she instantly casted her healing spell on herself, her gaze catching sight of her opponent.

Kilgor, the Orcen King and one of Beelzebub’s generals, a high SSS-tier ranked orc, had his sights set on the human whom had been killing off a good chunk of his race.

"(Krr… Puny human.)" he stated, his voice cold.

Launching himself straight into the air after delivering an already brutal attack, he was dead set on cleaving her head off, his greataxe accelerating downwards at a frightening speed, enough that the Duchess of the Belmont Family couldn’t recover in time.

-Grip-!!!

Feeling himself grabbed right by the leg and flung backwards at a speed he had reacted to, a tad bit too late, Kilgor, brutally collided with the terrain, crushing a few weak, unsuspecting demons in the process.

-Baaammm-!!

At the same time, a giant stalk of rosy vines, one that Selena who flew across the battlefield created, extended from the terrain, encased Anna for a split moment and then wilted almost immediately, giving rise to a completely healed Duchess.

Thanking Selena and Leopold with a simple nod from afar, Anna once again resumed her onslaught, descending to the ground as she simultaneously raised her arms up to the sky, all whilst casting a spell;

’[Luminescence Series: Hail of Destruction]-!’

Instantly, a small portion of the eerie crimson skies, instantly became populated with the multiple golden javelins, all of them descending with pinpoint accuracy to exterminate the enemy.

-Swoosh-! Swoosh-!! Swoosh-!!!

-Boom-! Boom-!! Boom-!!!

As all that was happening, Kilgor whom had instantly gotten up after crashing to the ground previously, watched as a figure with a cold emerald gaze, landed right before him with a resounding thud.

Without a moment wasted, The Orcen King, brought down his greataxe upon said figure with a terrifying force.

’{Berserker Art – Second Form: Counterstance}’

In the next second after that, Kilgor watched as his arm which was holding onto his weapon, instantly get severed from his body, a slight perplexity noticeable on his features.

-Kach-!!

And yet, with his expression returning into a rather unfazed one, Kilgor’s arm, had an ominous dark substance, extend from said severed arm and instantly reattached to his body.

’Ultraspeed Regeneration…’

Letting out a deep breath of air as he inwardly commented, Leopold, lowered his stance, dug his heel into the earth and then, just as he prepared to bolt towards the Demon General at breakneck speed, a loud, rippling, muffling boom, resounded through the entirety of Arcanora!

-Thooom-!!

This, instantly, gave everyone pause, causing them to instantly direct their gazes towards the skies.

Once again, they heard the quaking sound happen, even clearer this time due to their sudden silence!

-Thooom-!!

This time, their gaze instantly went to the one place the sound seemed to be emanating from, a wave of weariness setting in for both humans and the other races.

-Thooom-!!!

Maybe they were hallucinating…

That was what some of them thought.

But, the current sight they were witnessing, wasn’t some sort of joke being played on them.

No, it really wasn’t.

Because, currently, what populated their fields of view, were fiery meteors, all of which were falling from the skies with unparalleled speed.
