Chapter 116: The Blind Archer

Kaiser sighed.

He leaned forward, grabbed Kris and Julian by the throat at the same time, and lifted them effortlessly. Their feet left the ground.

"Give up, guys, otherwise... "

Julian exhaled.

"You stink that much from the mouth to attack me like this?"

A freezing breath burst from his mouth. The air condensed instantly, creating an opaque screen for a fraction of a second.

It was enough.

Kris threw a direct punch.

The fist smashed into Kaiser’s face.

A thin stream of blood ran from his mouth.

The silence lasted half a second.

"I warned you."

Kaiser spun around with both bodies and hurled them upward with a surge of raw aura.

They rose.

Then he raised his palm toward the sky.

<Repulsive Aura>

An explosion of bluish aura burst from his body. The push sent them even higher, beyond the safe zone of the forest.

"You’re too high up, guys."

He slowly lowered his index finger.

<Attractive Aura>

The gravitational force pulling them toward the ground instantly doubled.

The impact created a shockwave. A cloud of dust rose. Rock fragments were thrown in all directions.

Kris crashed heavily. Julian rolled to the side. Several bones cracked distinctly.

Kaiser walked toward them.

"I have to say, you’re tough."

Kris was coughing, trying to get up. Julian tried to crawl, his left arm hanging uselessly.

Then both disappeared.

A circle of mana lit up beneath them.

"Huh?"

Kaiser turned his head.

An arrow passed a few centimeters from his temple.

He dodged it at the last moment.

Without the Eye of Perception, it would have killed him.

His heart beat once harder.

That speed... that trajectory...

"Only he could shoot this kind of arrow..."

He looked up.

Tens of kilometers away, on a barely visible rocky ridge, stood an albino elf. White hair tied back, lean and powerful body, stable posture. His eyes were completely bandaged.

He held a longbow.

Jasper Del Luna.

Member of the royal family of the Luna clan.

"Oh... you managed to dodge?"

The voice arrived with a slight delay, carried by the wind.

Kaiser wiped the blood from his mouth and smiled.

"Your turn, then."

His aura pulsed.

And this time, he had no intention of holding back.

In the novel Heavenly Milf, where superior races dominated the heavens and the infernal depths, a single mortal had reached a level of mastery that aroused the envy of those superior beings. On earth as in legends, no title was more fitting than the one he bore: Jasper Del Luna, known as the Blind Archer.

Jasper was born into the Luna clan, one of the most prestigious elven lineages. This royal family was renowned for its lunar magic and, above all, for its hereditary Moon Eyes. These eyes granted 360-degree vision, the ability to analyze ambient mana, and a unique gift of magical absorption and conversion. A fire attack could thus be absorbed and returned as water, making their bearers nearly invincible against magic.

In Jasper’s case, however, these eyes had undergone a mutation. They captured an unmanageable amount of information. They perceived every breath, every thermal variation, every mana fluctuation without any filter.

This sensory overload caused him violent seizures and near-madness states from childhood. The clan elders therefore pronounced a verdict: absolute prohibition on using his eyes. An artifact blindfold, designed to block the mana influx, was imposed on him to ensure his survival.

Direct consequence: in a clan where magic defined worth, an elf unable to use it was considered useless, even a nobody.

His father tried to support him, teaching him to live with his limited senses. However, social reality was merciless. Pitying looks turned into open contempt, and Jasper’s heart nurtured a deep desire born from constant humiliation.

The years passed like this, until a diplomatic event, the birthday of the heiress of the allied Aqua clan forced him out of the shadows. Wandering alone in the aquatic gardens of the estate, he observed a girl his age, with purple hair, training with the bow with raw and effective precision. Noticing his gaze, she immediately became provocative.

"Stop staring at me like a stalker. Are you a pervert or what?" she threw out.

Surprised, Jasper introduced himself: "Uh... no. I’m Jasper, from the Luna clan."

Her gaze slid to his blindfold, and she burst into mocking laughter. "Ahahaha. It’s the first time I’ve seen someone from the Luna clan who’s blind."

"I’m not blind," he retorted, stung.

"Oh really? Then why do you have a blindfold?" She approached, challenging him with her eyes. "You’re really a pathetic Luna."

The word hit him hard. "I’m not pathetic."

"Then prove it. Do better than me." With that, she tossed him her bow.

Jasper caught it instinctively. Though deprived of conventional sight, his senses honed by years of compensation... Spoke to him immediately. Through the cold wood, the tension of the string, the micro-vibrations of the air, and the slight current, he perceived the target’s position, the exact distance, and the wind direction. It wasn’t vision, but an absolute sensory mapping of his environment.

He nocked an arrow, regulated his breathing, and released. The arrow sliced through the air and planted itself dead center in the target. In the silence that followed, he fired a second, then a third and a fourth, each as fast and precise as the previous one, systematically hitting the bullseye.

The girl was no longer laughing. Her expression had changed, mockery replaced by stunned attention.

That day was a revelation for Jasper. They could forbid him magic, but no one could prevent him from mastering archery.

Year after year, his mastery transcended ordinary techniques. His arrows reached speeds surpassing incantations and precision defying guided spells.

In the future, when superior beings turned their gaze toward the mortal world, they noticed this singular elf who killed without seeing, whose projectiles pierced even divine protections. And, faced with this purely technical mastery that escaped their magical understanding, they felt for the first time envy.
