Extra's Harem: Invincibility Starts with Marriage and lots of Children-Chapter 33 - - Darling?!
’Why every other have lower qualification than this idiot?’
Ignoring the system’s words, I inquired, clearly feeling that the qualifications of other women, in comparison to the most worthless one sitting on my shoulder, were too inferior, creating an illusion that they were useless.
For me, it was really hard to process that these women who should have higher potential values reaching 98, 99, and even 100 were now in categories lower than 95 while the insect woman sitting on my shoulder had a value of hundred.
:: Don’t compare humans with me, even 100/100 is lower for me. ::
’Where you bring that confidence of yours?’
:: By killing weak-ass insolent humans like you every second. ::
’....’
[...Host, Qualifications are based on compatibility rather than strength.]
’Like hell she is the least bit compatible with me.’
Hearing that again—compatibility nonsense—where both of ours perspectives not even match a bit, I scoffed at such poor calculations which were clearly making Valeriana appear better than others, but in truth any women except her was far more deserving.
:: Yes, how can I be compatible with a pig who eats poop? ::
’That was fucking molded bread, not poop, you idiot!’
[ Compatibility is genetically based, so in your case, your kids will be super strong. ]

"Young master, please enter," the maid halted after entering the palace gates with her passing until the end of the corridor where the other maid gave a bow, clearly signifying how the limit of each servant’s access to the palace premises was limited.
I made my way following the other maid as she made her way toward a room, which appeared in the same place from where I saw that status earlier.
I, in particular, was on the second floor, already climbed the stairs and finally observing the inner interior of the palace, which was definitely more than a simple wooden house but did not appear like how one would expect a palace to be made of.
It was simple, with designs being far old to imply that they were not renovated for decades but were very clean without a speck of dust.
Finally arriving outside a door, the maid halted.
"Please enter, the princess is waiting for you," she informed as she gave a bow, clearly professional, as I slowly opened the door.
It slid revealing the interiors with a dining table, showing it being a guest room or dining room maybe—who knows, the princess’s habit of saving money may have used it as a dining room as it was well decorated.
’Huh?’
As I entered the room, with my eyes observing around, I fell on a woman seated at the head of the dining table.
Thump
It wasn’t something I did consciously—it just happened, like my body decided to act like some maiden in love.
My hand instinctively went to my chest, fingers pressing against the fabric, feeling the steady thump beneath.
’What the hell?’
My eyes stayed locked on hers as she ate, unable to look away.
Her long eyelashes fluttered, catching the light, revealing hints of deep sapphire within them.
Her gaze was steady, calm—like the surface of a still lake.
But then there were her lips, slightly parted, a soft shade of red.
Strands of her hair slipped over her eyes, and she struggled to tuck them behind her ears, her fingers brushing against her skin in a way that makes something stir inside me.
"How can someone be this beautiful?"
These words slipped out instinctively, a reflex to the thought that flickered through my mind, lost in that brief moment, emerging from my subconscious.
:: What the hell!? Why does she look like me! ::
’Huh?’
Breaking all my trance state was a yell from over my shoulder with a small mosquito trying to move towards that woman only to meet with a glass-like barrier halting, with hands trying to push it.
With my eyes looking towards that small black bat figure and then turning towards that woman before realizing...
’Wait, wait, wait, they look the same!?’
It broke all my feelings, flutter and hurt as I realized that Princess Aleriana completely looked the same as that Bat woman who herself was shocked, flying while trying to pass through the barrier to get a closer look.
"Am I really that beautiful, husband?"
With eyes finally unsettling from downward gaze turned towards me, those sharp eyes met mine as her lips uttered the words that should initially would have riled my heart but now just made me look blank towards her before exhaling.
’Fuck, I really lost my mind.’
I ruffled my hair as I realized that due to being lost in the sight in front of me, I forgot to keep my composure, revealing a side that I shouldn’t have in front of her.
She was known for extracting weaknesses of others, and I just saw a biggest flaw by my action.
"Greetings, Princess, I was just lost for a moment after finding Lady Olea instead of her guild, as she told me had come here."
Changing the topic, I just uttered, already seeing a status window belonging to Olea hovering in mid-air, hiding behind a wall.
"...."
"How do you found out?"
Olea came out with her body visibly transitioning and materializing out of thin air, with two swords on either side of her wrist, wearing that same fluttering dress and a mask covering her face, as her eyes glinted looking towards me.
"Just guessed."
I shrugged my shoulders as if wanting to convey that it was just a fluke guess, which she accepted and revealed herself willingly.
"...I see."
She just gave a nod, standing there with me, making my way towards the seated princess who, with her palm now supporting her chin, was observing our interaction with a smile, clearly making me keep my composure now that I already had embarrassed myself here.
Moving as I took a seat on the chair.
"I hope your journey was comfortable, Husband," she said in that same tone with eyes fixed at me, a smile playing on her lips with her face looking in my direction as if amused by my presence, causing me to just give a nod, with that husband word ringing in my ears for some reason.
It was oddly sweet to listen to yet hard to digest from her demeanor, which appeared unlike what she might do with me after our wedding.
"Yes, thanks to the princess for arranging so many people to safeguard me on the journey."
Without sugarcoating my words, I directly presented how she not only sent Olea but also arranged so many assassins along the way so that they could attack me only to die—something which was definitely unexpected from a frugal princess.
"....There was a reason for it, pardon my actions, Husband."
I for a moment noticed her eyes softening, which was definitely some illusion as that small bat hovered around her face, as if not able to digest the fact that she looked exactly like her.
Wait, did I just call her beautiful a moment ago, while her face exactly looked like that arrogant idiot?
And what with that husband thing?
I’m definitely not liking it; it’s just my ears tingling due to cold.
"Princess, shouldn’t you stop that—
:: Why is she calling you husband with that face!? It’s annoying. ::
Husband thing."
Shit, I shouldn’t have told her to stop calling me husband, given it was definitely annoying this idiot reaper, and I was liking it, but alas I had already said those, so no taking back.
"Hm? Yes, it sounds oddly wrong. Then how about...."
Why are you standing up?
Looking as she slowly stood, causing my eyes to naturally notice that plump balsam under her tightened white dress.
Turning as she approached me, her finger slid along the edge of the table before placing her palm over my shoulder, feeling the delicate and soft touch even through the fabric.
She leaned in enough for me to even feel her warm breath touching my skin.
Is she trying to seduce me before killing?
The only grief in my mind as I was really losing it, clenching my hand while preparing for any surprise attack.
Clearly prepared before she arrived near my ears with a fragrance that appeared natural, emitting from her body.
With lips parting, she whispered in a sweet voice.
"Darling..."
