Extra's Perfect Ending-Chapter 192: Blinding light
Brent held his breath ready for what happened next however nothing happened.... and then he was transported to somewhere unfamiliar. But, from the moment he saw the place, he knew it was a battlefield.
Blood and iron stretch everywhere that his eyes lay upon. It was a gruesome sight that Brent wished hadn’t come.
This was likely a war that happened in Act 3 of the story. When the heretic rise in opposition to the sun god. They have a real shot of winning. Because this is a setup for the god of knowledge to ascend to godhood.
There wasn’t much talk about this god of knowledge before ascending however what Brent knew was the fact that he took down the sun god. That fact alone speaks volumes about his domain.
He wanted to prevent that because this was the best thing he could do. Saving the world is the best thing he could do...
No
He must do it.
He doesn’t care about the original story because it’s not good. Because he hates the tragedy that ensues with the main cast. Everyone will die in the original story, including Klad. In the final stretch when the author builds it up, Brent gets this crippling feeling that it wouldn’t go well.
The fact that the author sent him here proves it, they would all die, and the story would end right there.
And seeing this war in person makes him realize that he hates this feeling. The feeling of losing something.

Because in this war, he saw something far more devastating than anything he could have hoped for. Klad, Onia, Ghaarsh, and Bramon, lay in the pool of their own blood. And there he was, trying to fight off another soldier.
But from the look of this version of himself, one could say that he’s not human anymore. Just a husk of himself clinging on to life.
"AHGGGGG"
He screams in his lungs, the dream version of himself charging at the soldier without care in the world. swinging the word wildly, trying to cut people down but it wasn’t enough. Frenzy could not fill the place of skill. He is quickly defeated by the knight using his sword.
"Why did you do this...."
His dream self says in a shaky voice.
"I didn’t do any of this, you’re the one that caused all of this."
""What?""
Brent in armor and Brent in a suit said in unison. One questions the validity of the knight’s claim and the other is confused by the sound of the knight. He hadn’t heard much but his brain could recognize that voice from anywhere.
"Reeva?"
Gleaning into the eyes of the knight, It was as he feared, Reeva was the knight that bested him.
"If you hadn’t cast me out on that day, none of this would have happened. I wouldn’t have become a demon and cause all of this."
"You’re not supposed to..."
"Shut up and receive your punishment.... accept that, in the end, you can’t save anyone"
"Fuck you!"
It pains his heart to hear it from Reeva, the man he has cast away at the beginning of the story. The extra that has nothing relevant after the first act. He himself is also an extra however, he also notices something a little different.
He didn’t really achieve anything yet, Theia whom we vow to save turns out to be rather safe in Reeva’s hand. And in the end, in this vision, he died, being useless. All his friends were dead, and he was the cause of all of this war.
He bites his lisp until it bleeds. The taste of iron is present in his mouth.
Is this vision mocking him, is that all there is to this place?
Then Reeva cut Brent’s head clean off his shoulder. There was no scream of agony anymore and everything went black. The sight of blood and iron ceases to exist.
Brent opened his eyes again but this time there was a familiar face there to greet him. It was Klad, the farmer’s face that could be seen anywhere.
"Finally awake? What took you so long"
"What was that?"
Brent asks, he knows what’s going on but he needs Klad’s insight to judge the situation.
"It’s a test from the door, If you took more than 20 minutes to wake up then you’re unquilify to be here."
"How long did I have left?"
"About a minute, I woke up first then Ghaarsh followed, you’re the last one to wake up."
Klad points at Ghaarsh who is looking around the place, the beast boy noticing the stare waves back at Brent.
"What did you see?" Inquire by Brent who would like to know other experience.
"I’d rather not share, it’s a past regret of mine package in a different way. You must be the same since Ghaarsh is also the same."
Brent thinks about what transpired in the vision he had.
"Yeah, something like that" He couldn’t say much more "So what’s this place"
The architecture felt nothing like Brent had seen before. It was old, but not hold enough to call it ancient.
"This place is likely the tomb of somebody important."
Strangle enough inside of this place is only blue line leading you every where. The whole place is still dark so they have to follow the lines to get anywhere. The hallway right in front has split into 3 different Lines.
This is why Klad took so long to explore these ruins, it just simply too large for him to finish in one night. But Brent knows the right way to the treasure. However with him here, they will get to the treasure right away.
"Guys, check this out!"
Ghaash’s sound came from further into the ruins, Klad interest was piqued and followed the voice to a room that Ghaarsh had open. Brent has no choice but to follow these two.
Waiting for the perfect chance to guide them to the perfect room without being too obvious that he knows this place.
Taking the right turn, Brent and Klad arrive at the place where Ghaarsh is screaming. Peeking inside, they could see that the shining blue was brighter than in the hallway. Inside the room was a big glowing mushroom.
