Before long they got an answer, and after splitting off for a little bit, they found another two stature. This one was also pointing at each other. But this time, they weren’t in the valley.

"It’s kind of creepy if you asked me"

Knight "Jell," said with a slightly scared voice. He had been a sun god believer all his life so this sight was rather weird for him.

"Yeah, it’s like they are leading me to something forbidden."

Yuhan also voiced his opinion, he was not as religious as Jell but the statue couldn’t be more creepy. The stone it was made of was cracked and one vine was growing on the thing. They had this ancient feel to them that they couldn’t put a finger on it.

"What do you think Sir Holen is looking for?"

Jell asked, curious as to what Yuhan thought.

"It’s not something good, The map that he was using was from the blood dagger. and as you know, things born from blood are bad omen."

"Should we run?"

"Are you jesting?" Yuhan looked at Jell "100 stac could keep me going for a long time, even pass onto my kid if I’m prudent"

"But you don’t have a kid!"

"She will definitely be with you for your money" Jell couldn’t help but sigh

Yuhan arms crossed together, still hoping that the girl would like him for who he was. They chat for a bit more and completely forget about the creepy pointing stature. After a while, two horses could be heard walking atop the snow. Their head turned to the sound.

"There it is"

The third knight came into view, along with Holen who was holding out a map and marking the last statue that they found.

"Another creepy one huh"

Holen couldn’t help but call it out. Even though the statue’s eyes hid behind the hood, it still felt like he was being looked at. Holen quietly ignored the creepy stature and looked at all the markings that he drew. To him, it’s very clear why the statue was placed in this way.

The last knight, Oven finally catches up with the other two knights and promptly agrees that Yuhan won’t be getting a wife soon. They laughed it off, right as Holen was drawing the line connecting the pointing stature together and it forms a massive X on the map.

"I solve it!"

He yelled out. The knights shift their attention close in and look at the map. As dumb as they are, the massive S was rather obvious.

"So we go there?"

The middle of X was right at the entrance of the valley that they entered. Holen nodded his head and led the way.

"Where’s Kakas? I want to ask his opinion about my future girlfriend" Yehan said, after noticing their missing friend

"Still delusional? forget it, Kakas would answer the same."

"Tch" Yuhan could imagine Kakas saying it. "But why was he missing, Has he grown some balls now?"

The atmosphere felt a bit heavier after Yuhan pointed that fact out. Kakas was the guy who was very opposed to this idea and paranoid about being alone in the snowy woods. Holen also noticed this weird phenomenon but he just chalked it up to the last knight still searching for them.

"He will find us eventually"

Holen’s words lighten up the mood a bit. They travel for about 10 minutes before they arrive in the middle of the X.

"Let’s start digging here"

The three knights nodded and picked up the shovel. Dirt and snow flew everywhere as they dug up the area. As usual, They only dug randomly hoping to find something.

After digging around, Yuhan finally hit something that was not dirt.

"Guys! I found something"

"Is it a fucking rock again?!" Jell yelled out, they had this before where they dug into a rock and Jell thought it was a rare material.

"I’m pretty sure this was a hit! Come look!"

The two knights and Holen went and took a look at the hole that Yuhan was in. There, they saw a white piece of stone that didn’t look natural.

"Dig it up!"

Holen saw a potential and ordered them. They quickly went to work as a hundred stac flash across their mind. They quickly got excavated off the hole. Finally, after a minute, it reveal a small rectangular white stone block.

The detective’s breath quickens as he lowers his hand to pick up the white stone. He used his hand to feel around the thing and discovered that it was a box. Holen couldn’t wait any longer, his hand quickly moved to open the box.

"What..."

Inside was a scroll made out of stangly study paper. This piece of paper should have been crumbled in the face of time but, strangely it looked brand new. Holen popped and opened and sure enough, it was the thing that he was looking for.

On the scroll was a collection of familiar symbols, The Eyrish alphabet was arranged strangely, like a word but wasn’t a word. Holen could almost make out what it spelled but he never could. There’s no meaning to this strangely familiar word.

"Are we finished?"

Yuhan asked, his face smiling since he knew that they finally found the thing he was looking for.

"Yes, this is it. We could go back now"

"Yes!!!"

The other were equally happy. They could finally get back and receive their reward. Oven heave a sigh of relief and look up. He felt a cold run down his spine. The white snow forest now had something that was out of place.

"Was there a statue there?"

His hand shaking pointing into the jungle. Everybody there snapped their head to look at the dark dimly lit forest. There, a statue was holding one of the books and its finger was pointing at them.
