Reeva needed a better way to fight with monster because when he got to the tree, his punch barely did anything to it. It also periodically released a wave of mystic energy that he had to deal with. Converting it into Yellow mist and expelling it out was very tiresome.

Updated from freewёbnoνel.com.

The tree seemed to know that too and consistently shoved the mystic energy at him. However it also had a side effect, the more it used the power, the more the horn that grew from the tree disappeared.

It’s a minor side effect considering that the tree hands thousands of those horns on itself. The countless roll of eyes opened again and Reva needed to expel out the excess mystic power again. However this time there weren’t just the eyes that attacked him, there was also a tentacle.

Tow tendril quickly shot at Reeva, if he was a normal human, Reeva would have been protected by such a thing and died. But his body was filled to the brim with mysticism, it stopped right before it could price his skin.

It was not like Theodore, who fused mystic with physical damage. Delepitng Reeva’s natural mystic reserve and delivering a punch. The tree could only do one at a time, plus now that Reeva could convert mystic energy, if he was diligent then it would be impossible to fight for mystic user.

At least that’s what he thought before facing the tree head-on. When Reeva’s hand was dealing with the tendril, another wave of mystic energy hit him. Reeva was able to activate his power in time and nullified the whole effect.

The tendril quickly closed in on him, it seemed like the tree caught on to the fact that he needed a second to expel the mystic energy. That’s the extent of his coldness control. He needed to train to achieve better control.

The thing hit him but it did nothing, the mystic that Reeva expelled was far thicker than any tendril to penetrate.

Seeing that the tree releases another wave of mystic power. It knew that its power was useless against Reeva but, It kept releasing it because everything they did that Reeva slowed down.

And its instinct was helping it very much, Reeva couldn’t approach it now because of all the power that came right at him. For such a long time, Reeva only goes off of feeling and the eyes. If it all focused on him then it would likely be releasing its mystic power. If it’s in idle mode, looking everywhere then it wouldn’t do anything.

Just by observing it, Reeva could use the right timing to activate his own power. However, it was getting tiresome. So Reeva came up with an idea. With his demon-infused body, he kicked up the snow.

The white stuff flew everywhere blocking the vision of the tree, its eyes went into idle mode, waiting for Reevato to approach it. Reeva rushed through the snow, changing his position to the left a little bit to avoid the eyes.

The moment that the eyes were focused on time, Reeva quickly kicked up another snow blocking its vision. The eyes twisted nothing but snow as Reeva used this method to approach the tree bit by it.

It quickly tried to counter him but it couldn’t clear the now fast enough to attack Reeva. It could only catch a glimpse of him before Reeva kicked the snow again. This happened enough time for Reeva to close the gap and use his limited control of mystic power to send a yellow directly to the tree.

The tree got hit by the yellow mist but it couldn’t penetrate the flesh... No after looking closer Reeva could tell that it can’t penetrate it. There was no such thing as joy from a collection of flesh trees before him. Only an order from the mother to kill and convert the animal into a twisted abomination.

Now, Reeva knew what he had to do. Settled this the original way, punching the tree to death. Reeva dreaded such a situation before he needed to be up close to the tree and punch it.

Sure his half-demon mode was powerful but nowhere near a 5 circle mystic like Egul. He only had about half as much power. Punching the tree here would take him a while to kill it. But he knew it was possible so he needed to try it, if he wanted to reach the top he needed this combat experience.

Reeva kicked another snow and dodged the tendril that shot through it, it starting to predict where he wanted to appear but Reeva kept changing up his pattern. Then he got close enough to deliver a punch. The eyes of the tree focused on him, but it was too late, Reeva’s punch was right on the mark.

The mushy flesh and the eyes got bent from his hand. Its root was not deep enough underground so it bent a bit backward from Reeva’s punch. The impact almost knocked it down.

Both of them knew that this moment would decide the fight, So Reeva jumped onto the bending tree and was about to punch again. However, tendrils extend from the tree, trying to stop Reeva’s punch.

Bam!

A massive hit in front of the tree bark. The tendril did absorb some of the blow, however, it was not enough, Reeva’s mystic power went right through the wall of the tendril and arrived on the tree bark.

The bending tree was now on its side, and many eyes that were on the bark hit the snow floor. Tendril extended from its body and tried to get up from this. However, its body was too heavy and Reeva was also punching it from above.

Making the escape from this situation impossible. Reeva’s punch ramped up in intensity, after the tree realized that it couldn’t get up, it focused its effort on Reeva. Many tendrils start appearing on the body of the tree and attack him at the same time.

However, Reeva brushed it off since the attack had no mystic power behind it, every time it crashed into him it only consumed a small amount of mystic energy. So he was sure that he could outlast the tree in terms of mystic power.

Crack!

The blood and flesh gushed out from the tree, if it had a mouth it would scream out in pain and if it had a brain it would feel pretty bad right now. The tree attacked method had all been nullified by Reeva leaving it no choice but to struggle to get the boy off its bark. But Reeva’s hand kept digging deeper and deeper.

The once powerful tree was not crippled with a hole through its body. IT made another last attempt to kill Reeva by using more of its tendril and more of its eyes. But all of that led to nothing, the tendril could not penetrate Reeva, and the eyes could not reach him anymore.

Reeva had destroyed this part of the bark, leaving no eye to look at him and the one that looked was not enough to form concentrate mystic power like before.

Crack!

Reeva tore a hole through the tree’s body, the thing was pretty big but nothing a demon fist couldn’t solve. He dug out the hole with his bare hand. Now the tree was even weaker than before, its tendrils couldn’t even reduce Reeva’s mystic power.

Reeva finished the job by dropping to the side and punching the area where he had dug the hole. The flesh bent out of shape and busted the tree into two pieces. The tendril that was struggling for its life now lay flat on the floor.

"Finally"

Reeva muttered in a low voice, panting from all the punching he had to do. If not for this demon body, his stamina would have run out long ago.

That was harder than I thought...

Klad had fought and won over these enemies with a piece of wood as his foundation item. So he thought it would be easier but even with his cheat demon mode, it still took quite a while to kill the trees.

He looked at the horse track in the distance.

They are properly far by now

The fight took around 10 minutes. Reeva had told Max not to wait for him and looked like his wish was obeyed. He half expected Max or Quin to stay to help him, however, this was much better since he didn’t have to worry about them.

Let return...

Th!

The sound of something punching through the snow sent him on alert. His eyes immediately turned back to the tree corpse and were met with the sight of thorny vines launching at him. Reeva instinctively, put in hand in front and that was the best decision he had ever made.

Because the vine was the same as the wall vines. And surprisingly it has a mystic power coat in them. For the first time in this fight, Reeva felt pain.
