Extra's Perfect Ending-Chapter 308: Wandering the forest
The light shone brightly as Reeva closed his eyes. Even then the light still made his eyes see the red flesh of his eyelids. Then he felt his body pulled upward at a speed that he couldn’t comprehend.
"You could open your eyes now."
Sanchez’s words made Reeva relax a bit and open his eyes. Nena also did the same and what greeted them was the white room that was filled to the brim with mystic power. The place was completely white without any tiny speck of black in it.
"Where are we?" Reeva asked his head feeling a bit dizzy from the journey.
"The sacred place," Sanchez said, smiling. Reeva was about to ask further but stopped since the cardinal didn’t seem like he wanted to talk. "So where did the lord sense this plague?"
The floor beneath them then warped and transformed into a terrain. It looked like a three-dimensional miniature map like some science museum had. Reeva marveled at such a sight.
"Quick, we can’t be here for long"
Reeva nodded and snapped out of his trance. He looked at the three-dimensional terrain again and discovered that it was a map of the northern land. However, this one was much more detailed than the one Reeva saw at Lmemore.
He looked over and pointed at the place in the Forst Fang tribe. The area was at the mountainside, a cave of some kind.
"Let’s go"
"Wait!..."
Nena was about to say something when the light engulfed their bodies again and all of them disappeared. The massive ray of light pulled all of them straight to the Forstfang territory. They appeared in front of the cave that Reeva pointed to.
"This place?"
Sanchez said, looking around at the entrance of the cave. There he saw a trace of human activity. A campfire that had already been put out recently and a fresh snowy footprint at the front of the cave suggest they were here just a moment ago.
"Ye... bleh"
Reeva felt his stomach churn, his head felt very dizzy, and vomited out his last meal. Nena was fairing a bit better, only leaning on a tree to recover herself. Sanchez was a bit surprised but then he realized.
"This spell could get you dizzy sometimes"
You’re way too late!
Reeva cursed inside his mind. He rested his body on a tree the same as Nena to recover. His head was throbbing, no doubt this happened because of how fast he was traveling. They covered the distance that would take them about a week on a horse in about a few seconds.
seeing both people’s condition, Sanchex sighed in disappointment and looked at the place again. However, from his initial investigation, there didn’t seem to be anything that looked like a mystic of Mother Nature.
"Sir, did you find anything"
"No, did the apostle get it wrong"
Nena looked back at Reeva
"I don’t know, sir. Do you want me to check?"
"No, need. We will follow the trace here and see what happened. Get the apostle"
Nena opened her mouth, however, Sanchez glared made her shut up, and went to Reeva. She then threw him on her shoulder and walked together with the cardinal. They followed the footprint that the tribespeople left on the snow for ten minutes before they came upon a problem.
The footprint stopped. So many footprints just disappeared from the snow.
"How did this happen?"
Nan couldn’t help but ask. There’s no way that a footprint of hundreds of people would just suddenly disappear.

"Look closely’ the snow had been shaped by someone" Sanchez guessed "It seem like the tribe people or something did want us to find their trace."
"Cultist?"
"Not sure, however, it didn’t look like a work of a human, maybe the mother had already caught on to us"
Nena squeeze her eyes
"That’s not possible, right? I just killed her. How could he know that we would use the travel spell?"
"We’ll see, apostle lead the way," Sanchez said to Reeva who’s starting to wake up from the dizziness.
"Please call me Reeva, Sir" He felt a bit weird being called apotle all the time. "And I don’t have a divination spell...."
"You don’t?" Cardinal made a weird face.
"No, I mean I couldn’t use it right now, it was once per week" Reeva quickly corrected his words. The dizziness was starting to get to him. Sanchez sigh.
"I should have brought the saintess..." Cardinal had assumed that the apostle was similar to the saintess but he seemed to be mistaken. "Then we need to take the hard way, give the apostle to me."
"I think my job is to protect him so I couldn’t let him go...."
"...."
"gahh... Fine here your little apostle!"
The hard way that Cardinal was talking about was to use their super speed to search manually. It was not as efficient as divination but there was nothing they could do. Nena felt a bit pissed since she had to do the work again!
She quickly took off running after throwing Reeva like a doll. Sanchez caught the boy and settled him down on the rock nearby. Then he also sat down waiting for Nena to finish her search.
--------
Nena traveled at high speed, any human who saw her would feel like they saw a blur pass by. Her first place to search was directly where the footprint was heading. She sprinted ahead and found another mountain with no people.
She felt like this was not it and changed the direction she was running in. However, after half an hour, Nena found herself in the middle of trees and jungle and absolutely had no idea where she was.
"Ahhh where would they go!"
They were following at least a hundred footprints, so they couldn’t just disappear into thin air unless they could hide their tracks super well. However, she wouldn’t be manually searching the place if they had an apostle who could actually use divination!
It’s all that guy’s fault...
She shook her head. There’s no point complaining now as she was about to take off she felt something. An object flew at her with a high speed. With her superhuman reflex, he was able to block it with her mystic cloth.
It materialized to stop the object and broke it in half. It transformed into her scarf after that face. She then looked at what flew at her, it was a blade made out of pure ice. There’s no mistake, she knew who could do this.
"Why are you here?"
The voice came from within the forest, Nena with her hearing perception of a six-circle mystic lock on to where the voice came from. There she saw a tribe woman standing there waiting for her response.
"Why? I could go anywhere I want!"
Nena answered the question jokingly. The other person was her long-time rival. Cindy the frost blade. She had the power to conjure forst sword and completely control it.
"You picked the wrong place, sun bitch"
"Pfff" Nena laughed "I wouldn’t be taunting me if I were you"
"Oh yeah, last time you were the one that ran like a coward"
Cindy said, her face boiling with rage. She conjured two big ice swords behind her. Ready to launch at Nena, who’s now controlling a golden cloth.
"You’re lucky, I would have won that if the church didn’t let me off"
"Let’s see about that"
The two ice swords flew at a high speed, however, that was not enough to catch Nena off guard. Her golden cloth quickly grabbed a hold of them locking it from moving. Nena then extended her cloth and used the sword to slash at its owner.
Cindy conjured another ice sword and blocked the incoming attack.
"How did you like that!?" Nena smiled when he saw the look on Cindy’s face.
"How!?"
The woman was completely stunned. The last time they battle against each other Cindy was able to hold the sun priest off for a long time, even winning in some clashes. The main difference here was the fact that the cloth that Nena used was able to grasp the ice sword and not be cut apart somehow.
Then Cindy realized one possibility that could make Nena coth sturdier.
"You reached 6th circle!?"
"It seems like you’re lacking behind Cincin"
Nena called the woman by using her own erected nickname.
"Don’t call me that!"
After knowing that Nena had already reached six circles, Cindy’s determination wavered a bit. The difference between them was massive. In their ancestor’s words, at six circles, the people were no longer people; they were demigods who could dictate the lives of people with one finger.
She was not sure how much the ancestor played it up, but seeing Nena’s power didn’t really convince her that much. After all,l it looked like Nena’s cloth only gained a bit of resistance! If she could bypass that cloth and hit her directly she could still win!
"Then make me!"
Nena was ready to demolish that hope
