Extra's Perfect Ending-Chapter 335: Fighting
The fake Nena erupted into manic laughter as Demon Reeva channeled his mystic power into her, transferring his authority. The surge of corrupt energy flooded Lunto’s mind with euphoria, clouding his judgment—his movements slowed, clumsy, and uncoordinated.
Seizing the moment, the real Nena’s enchanted cloth snaked forward, its countless tendrils lashing out. With cold precision, it pierced the imposter’s form, dissolving most of the fake’s body into piles of golden cloth.
Most of them quickly turn back into the golden cloth, leaving the main body exposed to the rest of the real Nena golden cloth.
On the side, Hilda managed to sneak in a couple of knife throws when the fake Nena wasn’t looking. Almost all of them were blocked by the fake golden cloth however, one or two managed to make it inside.
Lunto who’s controlling the fake Nena felt like his mind was about to burst open. He had to manage his own command, Nena’s mental state, an invading mystic that made him overly happy, and an outside attack. It was not a good time.
His mystic power was plummeting. At this rate, he’d have to revoke the domain and sever his blood contract—but he couldn’t. He was trapped in an unnatural euphoria, a blissful haze that smothered urgency, leaving him apathetic and inert.
He could only starve off the attack because because it’s giving him the feeling of joy. However, as the fake Nena felt more and more satisfied, the thought came into her mind.
Is this already enough? Can I rest?
Thought popped into Lunto’s head and he quickly shook it off. He was an eight-circle mystic user, he naturally would have some kind of resistance to a mystic attack. If this attack wasn’t accompanied by others this mental attack would be easily dealt with.
Tch... I need to deal with this mental state before doing anything.
When a person’s mind is being affected by mystic power, there’s a way to get rid of that effect. When a mystic power that affects the mind invades the body, the mystic needs to stay there for an effect to take place.
This means thematically, one could expel the mystic power affecting the mind with another own coldness. However most of the time, people fall prey to these mind attack because they are already in a state in which they can’t control themself.
Lunto on the other hand held a unique position. He was an 8th-circle mystic who naturally had some resistance to mental attacks, especially from a lower-circle mystic user. That gave him his first layer of protection however, he also had another layer of protection.

Being inside the blood contract, he himself was completely detected from the mind of the copy. In this form he existed in the corner of someone’s mind, dishing out suggestions to puppet the copy to do his bidding. If the target was weak, he would have a good time piloting such a person.
Nena was in the middle of the scale in terms of difficulty. However, it was a double-edged sword because it could also be easily tricked by the enemy. He now regretted choosing Nena as the blood contract. Maybe the demon or Hilda would be a better target.
It’s all too late now, he needed to salvage this situation he put himself in. His mind focused on the coldness and controlled it to expel the foreign mystic that felt like a mist. His mind started to feel lighter after pushing some of it out however, before he could push it all out, something hit him in the back.
The sharp pain rained from his muscles and came right into his brain. Another foreign mystic force had evadded his body and this one was a completely different beast. The mist one made him feel euphoria and this one made him feel pain.
The two activate at the same time to create a complicating emotion in himself. On one part of the body, it felt like he should ripped the thing off to not feel that pain anymore, and another part of his body felt like he didn’t need to do anything. Both of them create a dilemma about how he should be feeling.
At that moment Lunto panicked for the first time after coming out from the emperor’s scepter. This situation was truly out of his control now. The only thing left to do was pray that his fake body could endure it until the emperor won the fight on the mountaintop.
But it seemed like he would not be able to make it that far. The fake Nena was losing rapidly and he himself could not control Nena’s body anymore.
I guess this is the end... for now
Lunto accepted his fate as the real Nena golden cloth spelled his end. It has countless tendril price the fake Nena body exhausting all the mystic power. The Fake Nena’s body then turned into a dried corpse within a second. The domain that was cast upon them had been dispelled.
"Did we win?"
Nena said, skeptical about this victory. After all, he had witnessed some bizarre power in this fight. It’s not out of the question that Lunto might have something up his sleeves.
"No, his would wasn’t here, he had been revived by something called a death scepter and he is effectively immortal unless the scepter was not in the hand of that skeleton we saw earlier with the cardinal"
"Then we needed to help the cardinal," Nena said with confidence, defeating an 8th-circle mystic felt great!
"Let go back up" Reeva was a bit skeptical about how helpful they would be, but he couldn’t risk the night emperor winning that fight either. Lunto would surely be resurrected otherwise.

Inside the ruined chamber, Holen’s eyes open up after a bit of time. He was still in the room of stone, however the ring in the middle of the room had already fallen to the ground. The first thing he felt after he woke up again was rage.
A fiery rage that burned deep in his heart. That skeleton killed the people he cared about. However, after a bit of time, his rage transformed into confusion. The last time he knew before he woke up was that he was dead.
There’s no way the wound of that level could be healed..
You’re right
What.....
There’s another voice inside his head. A more feminine voice that felt a bit unnatural.
I must be hallucinating
No, you’re completely fine... if you didn’t think about it much
What.. who are you?
Holen felt like his head was about to explode. Then he realized that his body was no longer normal something felt very off about how he controlled his body. Everything movement he made felt a little stiffer than usual.
His mind moved a bit faster than he could move like he was controlling a puppet rather than a body.
I’m the mother, that’s what people call me
Get out of my head
Unfortunately for both of us, we can’t do that or else we’d both die
Holen got up and tried to look around, thinking there must be something else talking to him inside the room however, there was nothing. The room looked the same as before and he could also see the corpse of his friend lying on the ground.
However, the detective noticed that something was missing. Athan the immortal was not here Kanku the kid that they picked up was also not here and altly, the vines were not here.
Are you the goddam vines? GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HEAD
We would both die, human. I don’t like this better than you do but bear with me
Why the hell would I bear with you, I’d rather die than live with a piece of shit like you
You humans always make the dumb decision. What’s more important than survival?
Not being alive with you inside my body
The vines said with a chill voice
Such pettiness.
You’re the one to talk
I don’t remember being petty. Otherwise, I would not revive you and be inside your body, you know full well that I hate humans.
Holen thought before and bashed his head. He didn’t want to live with this thing inside.
Stop Stop Stop!
The mother tried to voice something out but Holen wasn’t in the mood to hear any of it. He lost his friend and this monster was living inside his body, he hated mystics, he hated monsters he didn’t want to become something he wasn’t at least that was what was going on his mind at that moment.
I have a way to bring back your friends!
.....
Holen looked a bit hesitant for a moment however he then realized that the mother could be lying to save herself. He faced the wall and started bashing his head. However before it could fully hit the wall, a vine protruded from his forehead and stopped him from hitting the cold stone.
You blockhead! piece of scum! Are you dumb? Why would you want to die in this situation?
I should already be dead
Don’t you have something you want to do?
I want to kill Athan could you help me?
