F-Rank Puppeteer!! But I'll be Queen, and I'm not a narcissist!!!!!-Chapter 175: Secrets Between the Lines
"So Syl’Vyr, you’re the one taking care of me today?" I ask, taking a bite of cake while Syl’Vyr stares at me. Eve is over at the camp commanding the soldiers while the angels are locked in the underground prison.
I’m not going to go torture them in Evelyn’s place, because I want to see Evelyn torturing them. She’ll need to do it even if she doesn’t like it, and with the manipulation I’ve planted in her little head, I’m sure she’ll torture those angels to earn Esther’s approval.
’It seems Esther has stopped trying to observe me...’ I can easily detect it. Esther was trying to spy on Evelyn—must be some artifact—but I temporarily interfered, since I don’t want her seeing me.
"Yes... I’m the one who will take care of you today," she says, glancing to the side where Clarissa is standing with a cart holding my snack.
"Hey Clarissa, what’s for dinner today?" I ask, smiling at her. She doesn’t know I’m not Evelyn.
"Evelyn-sama, we will have grilled fish with sauce, along with some spices, white rice, a few types of pasta, and fruit juice... I’m sorry the meal is small, but I don’t know how to make grand meals, and we also don’t have that much food," she says quickly.
"It’s fine... Clarissa, you know, I trust you more. You’ve proven yourself quite helpful recently, so as a vote of confidence, I’ll let you go to the village to buy some food to send to the soldiers." When I say this, she looks surprised.
"Really, Evelyn-sama? You’ll trust me?!" She seems suspicious, but I can see the slight greed in her eyes to climb the hierarchy. She really trusts that Evelyn has a promising future. What a fool. She’s been properly deceived by Evelyn.
"Yes, you may go... here." I toss a small bag of coins to her. It has enough money to buy food for a month. The truth is, I just want to get rid of her to be alone with Syl’Vyr.
"But it needs to be now, Clarissa. You don’t want to disappoint me, right?"
"N-No! Of course not! I’ll go right away!" She abandons the cart and runs out the door in a hurry. Now it’s just me and Syl’Vyr in the entire mansion.
"Looks like it’s just the two of us now, Syl’Vyr." With a smile, I say, picking up a piece of cake with a fork and putting it in my mouth seductively. I can feel Evelyn stirring. I think I only have about three days before I’m forced out of control and Evelyn wakes up.
"..." I see Syl’Vyr’s tail moving uncomfortably while her ears are perked up alertly at me. Unlike Eve, who hides her discomfort with me relatively well, Syl’Vyr can’t manage such a feat.
"Haaa..." I sigh, looking at Syl’Vyr. I think Eve is going to completely ignore my warning. So, I want to see if I’m right or wrong about having warned Eve to keep an eye on Syl’Vyr and Faye.
"Hey Syl’Vyr, could you answer a question for me?" When I ask, she looks like she’s about to refuse.
"If you refuse, I’ll go outside and show my panties to the first person I see on the street." With my threat, she lets out a low growl and approaches.
"Just ask."
"Do you serve Evelyn, or do you serve The Evelyn?" When I ask my question, she lets out a low, confused whine at the question. I stare at her, waiting for my answer.
"I don’t understand?! Obviously, I serve Evelyn-chan..."
"No, no, no, that’s not what I asked, Syl’Vyr. I asked if you serve the Evelyn, or if you serve The Evelyn. There’s a difference."
"..." 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
"Why aren’t you answering? Shouldn’t it be an obvious answer?!" I stare at her, seeing she doesn’t answer, but she genuinely seems not to understand.
’So it’s as I thought?... Maybe too early? Has Evelyn noticed this?... I don’t think so...’ Yes, I think Evelyn herself hasn’t even noticed yet. It seems she’s ignored something that’s right under her nose.
"Ay, ay, Eve is going to have so much work dealing with incompetent beings like you." I murmur while taking another bite of cake. Syl’Vyr looks at me, offended.
’Evelyn, you should choose your allies better...’ I stir a spoon in the teacup and start drinking it quickly before putting the cup back on the tray.
"Syl’Vyr, who does Eve serve?"
"Evelyn-chan."
"Yes, that’s right. Eve serves Evelyn. And who do you serve?"
"...Evelyn-chan?" She again has the same expected delay. I wonder what The Evelyn is waiting to happen in the future.
"You know, this conversation isn’t going anywhere!! What the hell are these confusing questions supposed to accomplish?" Syl’Vyr says something that makes me laugh.
"Confusing questions? Oh no, my questions are anything but confusing. In fact, they’re very logical and rational. However, they only deliver the answer to me. If you can’t interpret what I mean, then the problem is with you, don’t you think?"
"...But... I can give you an answer that your pathetic mind might be able to comprehend if you think a little." I take a large piece of cake and put it in my mouth for a moment while looking at Syl’Vyr.
She stares at me, and we stay in this uncomfortable silence for at least two minutes with her waiting for my answer. I stand up and go to her, stopping in front of her. Quickly, I hug her so she can’t run away.
"...Hmmm!?" I kiss her, passing the cake covered in my saliva into her mouth. Her tail wags while her ears droop down for a moment. I pass the cake into her mouth, spreading the filling with my tongue.
She lets out a little moan as we have this naughty little exchange, the cake being crushed between our tongues, the smooth, creamy sweet strawberry flavor noticeable.
I keep forcing the kiss until she swallows the cake completely, and then I pull away, licking my lips while she blushes.
"You are so pathetic. There’s your answer. But I doubt a dumb dog like you would understand. So I’ll simplify. If I had done this to Eve in an isolated, alone environment like this, she would have pushed me away. Yet you just accepted."
"That is your answer." I spit on her in disgust. Her gaze becomes confused, seeing my reaction of disgust toward her—a totally different reaction from what I show toward Eve.
"..." I sit back down in my seat to finish eating my cake.
"H-Hey, what the hell was that?!"
"...Who knows? Maybe try thinking a little about why Eve is more special than you, and then you’ll discover why you are a pathetic and disgusting person." I am a natural being. Literally, I am a part of nature. I am a lake nymph, and in its purest meaning, I am a natural force of the world.
That is to say, like nature, I am a being that perfectly understands one thing: what is unpleasant and what is not. Pure girls, naive girls, gentle girls—they are "pleasant." They are the kind of person beings like me enjoy.
Not for their purity, but because they are beings born with a purity that affects their life from birth until death. And even if that purity is dirtied, it would still be like a diamond thrown in the mud—dirty, but still beautiful.
Evelyn is that kind of being. She has that special purity. That is to say, despite my way of acting with Evelyn, she is a girl I like. And because I like Evelyn, someone like Syl’Vyr is repulsive.
"...Explain yourself." Syl’Vyr’s expression hardens into something serious. It seems she realized something.
"What did you realize?" I question, tasting another piece of cake.
"You’re saying I’m not loyal to Evelyn-chan. Explain yourself now." She growls, letting impulsiveness take over.
"You want an explanation? Oh, the little dog got hurt by my words, did she?" I provoke. Let’s see how far this stupid one will go.
"You poisonous viper." She comes up to me, a vein appearing on her forehead, the grinding of her teeth echoing through the closed room.
"Going to attack me? Well, go ahead then. I don’t care. It’s not my body that will get hurt." She stops, realizing the obvious—that I’m provoking her to react.
"..."
"I can explain, but I’m sure you won’t like the answer. So let’s do a test. If you pass the test, I’ll answer with complete honesty. And if you don’t pass, I won’t answer. Do you accept?" She nods competitively.
"Great, great. Good spirit. You want to know the truth, don’t you? The truth you are too blind to see. That’s good... So I’ll give you your truth. Your challenge is simple..." I cut a slice of cake.
"You just need to eat this slice of cake completely. Simple, isn’t it?"
"...Yes..." She comes to try and take the cake, but I slap her hand away.
"No, no, no, no rushing, foolish little dog. Let’s take this slower." I pick up the cake and think of a very simple test—a way to give her an answer even if she loses, though I doubt she’ll realize it.
"H-Hey, what are you doing?!" she says, alarmed, when I take the cake and stuff it inside my panties, lifting my skirt. I crush the cake batter against my body, shoving part of it inside my intimate parts.
With my fingers, I push a part of the cake deep into the vagina, while making sure to rub it so she’ll have to lick a lot if she wants to eat the cake. Soon, I push my panties down and spread my legs, exposing everything to her.
"Bon appétit." I smile at her, and she realizes what I mean. She looks at the cake crushed between my intimate parts and has to make her choice. Soon, she crouches down, holds my legs, and brings her face closer.
And when her tongue leaves her mouth and is about to touch "my" body, I grab her head. She looks up and shudders, seeing my cold face and the look of pure disgust.
"We’re done here. You failed the test."
"W-What?! But I didn’t even eat..."
"You were going to lick the intimate parts of your master’s body for a deal with the being violating his autonomy and image. That already says a lot about your character, don’t you think?"
"...B-But..."
"I’m going to take a bath. I hope you take the time to think about the answers you got here today." I put my panties back on. She failed as expected. She didn’t even truly understand what the test was, and that is pathetic.
"Pathetic dog." I leave the room with that last insult.
"Evelyn, you are so blind not to see this... or maybe... you have realized... You did realize, didn’t you? But decided to ignore it... You’ll regret that one day, Evelyn." I say to nothing, frustrated with Evelyn for being such a fool.
I start licking my fingers, savoring the piece of cake that gave me the answer I knew I had, but didn’t yet have confirmation of.
"The loneliness of mortals is such a strange and incomprehensible thing... I’m learning so much from you, Evelyn. So show me much more of the contradictions you make for the feelings you have..." I smile. A smile for the future that will come—a future full of pain and sadness for Evelyn for ignoring the reality in front of her too much.
