F-Rank Soul Eater-Chapter 201: Bloodline bonding And Other Bonding
...The bond mark’s the soul, but in some rare cases, they also mark the bloodline.
This known as Bloodline Bonding.
(Soren suddenly thought back to Devon. He was a lawyer, but he had definitely used Soul energy to lit his cigarette that day. He also remembered the lawyer intentionally dodging the subject)
...While Bloodline bonding is a very sensitive subject deserving of its own book, we shall briefly touch upon the matter.
Aside for the rare situation that a Bond happens with not just the soul, but also the bloodline, centain requirements are necessary for the future generations to enjoy the bond.
1. The Shade’s lifeforce must be Sustained and maintained even after the death of the initial Soulbound warrior.
2. The Shade’s ability must be accepted before a certain age, else, the Shade’s bond will forever seize in the generational line of the individual that rejects its bond.
3. The Special Condition.
The special condition is a requirement solely needed by the individual bond of the Shade.
Many times, this special Condition might have been set by the initial Soulbound warrior, or is as a resukt of the nature of the Shade.
Note: If you discover that you might have made a Bloodline Bond, please make effort to report this finding to the authority of the Almace Empire.
You shall be rewarded.
....
Soren could not help but roll his eyes at that last part.
No matter how he looked at it, it did not seem like an actual reward was waiting for any person dumb enough to actually report a bloodline bond.
Why?
Simply based on his experiences with nobles.
He flipped the page of the book.
There was more.
Soul Bonding...
Curse Bonding...
Eldritch Bonding... 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
As interesting as these sounded, Soren flipped through.
Generally, he already had ideas on them.
Nature of Souls According To elements...
Another interesting topic, but he still flipped past it.
And then, he came across a familiar subject he needed clarity on.
... Bonds can be created as they can be formed.
An example of this is the separation of death by either party.
The Following are Bonds that grow the relationship between Shade And Soulbound Warriors.
Give and Take bonding: This is the most fundamental state of bonding with a Shade.
It emphasises the exchange of desire and resources between Shade and Soulbound warrior.
In an ideal world, the Give and Take relationship of Shade and Soulbound warrior should led to a prosperous partnership.
However, research has shown that like human beings, many Shades might possess their own personalities, intensions, and intelligence.
One Such example is the Eradication Product of the second generational war, where the empire had no choice but to actively hunt and eliminate 200 Soul bound knights because of an influence of Shade Will.
Note: The empire strictly warns against the use of this bonding method to grow a relationship with a Shade.
Take and Submit: This bonding relationship between a Shade and a soulbound warrior ensures that the the Shade is abolutely submissive to the Soulbound warrior for the rest of its existence.
Understanding the Shade and how to enhance one’s ability remains vital.
However, the shade is disciplined into obedience by the Will of the soulbound warrior.
Note: This is the empire standardised method for the treatment of Shades. This method has yielded incredible results again and again.
It is advised to stick to this method.
Merger Of Wills: This is arguably the most effective method of growth for a soulbound warrior.
It involves the merging of wills with the Shade an individual had bond with.
When wills become one, the will of the shade becomes the will of the soulbound warrior and vice versa.
However, this method removes the soulbound warrior from the Will of the Almace Empire.
Furthermore, While this method is very effective for power leveling, it erodes the soulbound warriors sense of self.
Considering the fact that most shades are rumored to be hundreds of years old.
It is considered a bad idea to merge wills with a being whose will, by nature is larger.
Note: This growth method is not uncommon but is still very frowned upon.
Remember, the will of the Almace Empire is the will of humanity, and the will of humanity is sustenance and continuity.
....
Soon, as soren continued to read, he felt drowsy and began to drift into sleep.
Soren switched off the light from beside his bed, and retired fully for the night.
A few hours passed... a figure moved. First came slender fingers—riding on his chest in a certain rhythm.
Seductive.
Focused.
It climbed his chest, stroking his body as the feminine figure revealed herself.
Faceless.
She was barely dressed. Just enough to cover the top, and bottom.
Clothing was more lace.
Hair was allowed down to intensionally tickle her prey.
This was a sight men would die for.
Her long slender tongue snaked out of her mouth, as she neared his head—his ear.
"Waterfell..."
Soren jolted awake. Eyes scanning.
His room was as empty as he remembered it to be.
However, the morning light came from the window.
"A weird dream?"
This was the only answer he could come to. After all, even while sleeping, his Blackfield was left on.
It was a mistake he would never make.
He stretched his arms to the sky—as he proceeded down the bed, and straight into the shower, unaware of the slob on the bed, next to where his ear had been.
....
The day began as usual. He had a few classes.
In truth, they should be none because of the Winter games.
But it had been prosponed too many times, and had began to affect the curriculum.
Amongst all the classes he had one particular one was most interesting.
Soul Mecha Mechanics 101: This was a course taken not by an instructor. But an actual mechanic.
Soren had always thought only instructors from noble families gave lectures.
But apparently, it was not so.
Only the best were allowed to teach at the Imperial Soulforge Academy.
And from the beginning of the Class, Soren found himself lost in it.
The mechanic was known as...
