After throwing the powerful explosive fire crystals, Jareth didn’t stop in his tracks; he kicked the ground with his full strength and started running forward at full speed.

Dozens of giant skeletons started following him, and many of them even came from the front and tried to block him.

Even if you make an explosion, its effects will be severely suppressed due to the interference of miasma.
Thus, you need to replenish the fire elementals in this area first if you want to do an explosion.
Jareth went one step ahead; he made his fire crystals hang outside his mana shield and made them get influenced by miasma and reach a highly unstable state.
Which he then messed with using his own powerful mana interference, causing them to use the fire elementals and the miasma as fuel for the explosion.

Jareth didn’t even bother casting magic to deal with that skeleton and let it hit him.
The giant palm collided with his powerful mana shield and shattered on the spot due to the impact.
’Even the rain of miasmic poison crystals couldn’t shatter my basic mana shield. why do you think you can deal with an enhanced version of it with just a random palm sweep?’
Jareth shook his head and kept moving forward while completely ignoring the massive giant skeleton that had already lost its arm.
’Thankfully, these monsters are not intelligent enough to adapt to my strategy or that would have increased my mana consumption...’
All these giant skeletons have no brain to speak of, and they are just attacking Jareth due to instinct and the command of miasma.
The miasma in this place is mixed with the lingering will of the dead fairies and spirits, and it’s commanding these mindless skeletons to swarm him and attack him to stop him from moving forward.
It’s not that these giant skeletons have any personal grudge with Jareth; they are just desperately trying to protect the land of fairies from a cruel human who’s obviously trying to reach their miracle city.
From the perspective of the lingering will of the dead fairies, Jareth is just a cruel human intruder who’s going to bring more sadness to the land of fairies.
That’s why it’s so desperate to deal with Jareth by any means possible.

If these skeletons still had their consciousness, they could have interfered with Jareth strategy of using explosive shockwaves to make them retreat and then move forward.
They could have used tactics or tricks, but with their mindless bodies, they are incapable of doing such complex tasks.
At most they can just rush towards Jareth and try to hit him with their limbs, which is in fact even more ineffective.
Some of the skeletons managed to resist the explosive shockwaves and stay on their feet, which helped them succeed in landing a blow or two on Jareth.
But even if they managed to land a blow, it was all futile, as their limbs shattered from the impact instead.
Jareth remained completely unharmed, on the other hand, and kept moving forward.

A giant skeleton jumped on Jareth and tried to use its jaw to attack and crush Jareth, but its lower jaw shattered trying to break Jareth’s mana shield.
While being punched, kicked, and slapped, Jareth kept moving forward without a care in the world.
He had absolute faith in ’Mana Singularity,’ and all he had to do was keep his mana shield stable while moving with the highest speed possible.
’It’s going to take a while but I should be able to make my way out eventually...’
Jareth’s eyes flashed with determination as he took one step after another.
