Fallen To The Ruthless Obssessive CEO-Chapter 525 - 447_2
Bao Ye smiled, intertwining his fingers with hers: "Okay."
The two cuddled for a while longer. Jiang Ruan suddenly remembered the time and picked up her phone; it was already half-past eight.
"Bao Ye, it’s half-past eight, aren’t you going to get up and head to the company?"
Jiang Ruan asked, knowing that he usually left the house by seven.
However, Bao Ye hugged her tight, saying earnestly: "I’m skipping work today to stay home with you."
Jiang Ruan clicked her tongue and teased him with a smile: "It’s a workday today, are you planning to act like a negligent emperor and skip court?"
Just as she finished speaking, the man beside her suddenly flipped over, turning Jiang Ruan into a lamb awaiting slaughter.
He took her phone away, easily holding her wrists in his palms. Bao Ye chuckled lightly: "I’ve been a diligent emperor for too long; it’s good to occasionally be a negligent one for a change."
As he spoke, he lowered his head to kiss her lips: "My beloved, how do you plan to entice your emperor, hmm?"
Hearing this and meeting his dark, suggestive gaze, Jiang Ruan blushed and her heart raced. She tried to pull her hand away, but he held it even tighter, leaving her no choice but to yield: "Bao Ye, I’m still so tired~"
"It’s okay, I’ll take care of it."
With that, Jiang Ruan couldn’t say another word.
Eventually, Jiang Ruan was both exhausted and ravenous, her stomach rumbling loudly.
Hearing her stomach growling, Bao Ye tied his belt with a laugh and opened the door to fetch the meal he had asked the servants to prepare in advance.
It was simple: a bowl of red dates and barley porridge with some steamed dumplings and pickles.
Jiang Ruan struggled to sit up and was surprised to see the meal: "Aren’t you eating? Why is there only one bowl?"
Bao Ye replied, "You eat first."
As he spoke, he picked up the porridge, blew on a spoonful, took a sip, and tested that it wasn’t hot.
He brought it to her lips.
Jiang Ruan felt a bit embarrassed: "I can do it myself."
Bao Ye teased her, "You said you were too tired; you still have the energy?"
Jiang Ruan bit her lips in embarrassment: "It’s your fault for making me tired."
It was like he went wild from yesterday to today.
"My fault," Bao Ye admitted, "Let me feed you, alright?"
Jiang Ruan lay half-reclined, propped up by pillows.
Unclothed, barely covered by a thin blanket.
The porridge was brought to her lips; she simply opened her mouth and ate it.
Bao Ye was adept at feeding her, alternating bites of porridge and pickles.
Then a mouthful of steamed dumplings.
Jiang Ruan had a small appetite; after half a bowl and two dumplings, she was full.
Jiang Ruan stopped eating.
Bao Ye: "Okay."
Then Jiang Ruan watched as Bao Ye finished off the meal she hadn’t completed.
Jiang Ruan was a bit perplexed: "Aren’t you very much a neat freak? Why are you eating my leftovers?"
For a moment, Jiang Ruan felt that the man in front of her couldn’t be Bao Ye.
This was such a stark contrast.
When questioned, Bao Ye looked up, teased with a smile: "Haven’t I already tasted every part of you? What’s a little porridge?"
The words made Jiang Ruan’s cheeks and ears flush instantly.
Damn.
Why was he being so provocative?
Jiang Ruan decisively turned her back on him, lying back under the covers, ignoring him.
Seeing her embarrassed, Bao Ye couldn’t help but laugh.
Hearing his laughter beside her ear, Jiang Ruan buried her head completely under the blanket.
Shameless, shameless. Bao Ye was becoming more and more shameless!
Jiang Ruan fumed to herself.
In the afternoon, Bao Ye gathered all the servants in the villa, and Jiang Ruan thought he was going to hold a meeting for them.
But he earnestly said, "From today onward, don’t call her Miss Jiang anymore; call her Mrs. Bao instead."
As the words fell, the servants were instantly excited.
They looked at each other, then said in unison: "Yes, Mr. Bao!"
And then, turning to Jiang Ruan, they said: "Hello, Mrs. Bao!"
They genuinely addressed Jiang Ruan from their hearts.
Over the past years, in their eyes, Jiang Ruan had long been their only mistress.
Jiang Ruan was beautiful and kind-hearted, treating them well; they all liked her very much.
Now that Bao Ye gave her an official title, they naturally felt happy for her.
So suddenly becoming serious left Jiang Ruan a little at a loss.
Facing Bao Ye’s smiling eyes, she felt a bit embarrassed but replied gently, "Okay."
The servants all had joy on their faces.
The butler was genuinely happy for Jiang Ruan as well.
Bao Ye went upstairs to change into a suit, then walked over, fastening the buttons at his collar: "I need to head to the office for a bit, something came up."
Jiang Ruan: "Okay."
"If you get bored, you can invite someone to go shopping," Bao Ye suggested. "In the evening, I’ll pick you up and take you out."
"Feng Meiling and the others have been wanting to see you. It’s been busy lately, and today they’re free. It’s a perfect chance for everyone to gather."
Jiang Ruan smiled: "Sure, it’s been quite a while since I last saw them."
"Hmm." Bao Ye acknowledged, suddenly remembering something. His gaze fell on her ring finger: "Don’t take off the ring."
