Farming with Entries: From Lord to Emperor-Chapter 483 - 256: Conspiracy (Part 2)
Lusen did not hide anything and expressed his thoughts frankly, "But I have no evidence."
Leon did not hesitate and immediately ordered his adjutant, "Inform the allied forces south of Blood Crow Castle to converge on me."
"Yes, Lord Commander!"
The adjutant swiftly relayed the command.
Yet, Lusen’s heart remained uneasy as he gazed ahead, lost in thought.
The sound of horse hooves slowly faded.
The soldiers left behind began to carry the corpses.
The soldiers were thrown into the ditch beside the valley to be burned together.
The bodies of the Knights, however, were loaded onto a carriage to be taken back and await their Lord’s decision.
There was no choice; as important assets of the Lord, even Leon, as the Commander, couldn’t make the decision alone.
"Alas, it’s a pity they couldn’t return home even in death."
A young soldier, Tim, dragged his companion’s body to the edge of the ditch and then pushed it in forcefully.
"I’ll probably end up the same way when I die," he mused.
"Stop blabbering and get moving!"
Tim’s captain urged, "Once we’re done burning, we can go back and sleep."
"Crack-crack—"
A creepy sound emerged from the darkness-covered forest.
"Who!"
"Who’s there?"
Tim’s voice trembled, the firelight illuminating his pale face.
He hurriedly drew the longsword from his waist, trembling as he pointed it into the darkness,
"Come out!"
Tim shouted loudly, immediately raising the alert of his companions.
The others quickly put down the corpses they were holding and rushed over with drawn longswords.
At that moment, a tall figure burst out!
Before Tim could react, his head flew off instantly!
In the next instant, the black shadow charged into the soldiers and began a frenzied massacre!
"Enemy attack!"
The soldiers’ shouts echoed through the valley as all the soldiers dropped what they were doing and rushed over!
In the flickering firelight, they saw that the figure was immensely robust, covered entirely in black armor, with its head concealed under tightly fit armor!
Without saying a word, he swung his longsword effortlessly, slaughtering the soldiers like wild dogs!
The soldiers couldn’t stop him at all!
What was more terrifying was that soon four more figures like him emerged from the darkness, charging into the soldiers to massacre!
In the blink of an eye, all hundred soldiers left behind were reduced to corpses!
The five black-armored warriors didn’t say a word throughout, standing silently in place with their swords after the last soldier fell.
Soon after, two black-robed figures slowly walked out of the forest.
A murmuring male voice arose as the fallen soldiers one by one rose again, walking to the cart filled with knights, carrying the bodies.
"Master Lomisa, your plan is brilliant!"
Osca saluted the tall-standing woman beside him, "Those foolish guys, they were indeed drawn east!"
Osca’s voice was ingratiating, filled with uncontrollable excitement.
"If there weren’t so few silver skeletons, I wouldn’t need to go through the trouble."
Lomisa’s voice was icy, "I hadn’t expected that little guy from the Dawn Society to be here as well."
"It’s all right, Master, his strength is very weak."
Osca retorted with disdain, "I can handle that guy."
"Never underestimate any wizard apprentice, fool, not even the lowest ones."
Lomisa’s eyes were cold, "Why don’t you go and slaughter those twenty-plus advanced knights and Leon as well?" 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
Osca lowered his head, not daring to make a sound.
"If I can awaken, then the Broken Rock Empire and the Dawn Society must be more challenging to deal with than expected; recklessness will come at a cost."
Lomisa sternly warned.
"Yes, Master, I promise to be more cautious." Osca bowed his head even lower.
"Enough with the nonsense."
Lomisa commanded coolly, "Quickly transport these knights’ corpses back. Once they are all refined into Black Knights, we’ll have the confidence."
...
...
In the morning, light mist danced gently outside the small town of Black Pine Ridge.
The morning light, like gold, sprinkled among the pine forest, and the dew shimmered on the blades of grass.
Luo De stood on a flat rock, with Thunder and Frost right beside him on the left and right.
The earth dragon Rock Ridge lay before Luo De, not daring to breathe heavily with its head down.
Ordinarily, Luo De was terrifying in Rock Ridge’s eyes, let alone with Frost and Thunder beside him.
It dared not move at all.
Luo De could sense Rock Ridge’s fear, and reached out to gently stroke its head,
"It’s okay; they’re both very friendly."
Luo De comforted, "Do your job well, and I’ll make you like them, soaring in the sky."
Rock Ridge let out a low growl, lifting its head to look at Luo De, its golden vertical pupils filled with confusion.
As if asking, how can I become like that?
Luo De said no more, gesturing for Thunder to crouch down and then jumped onto Thunder’s back.
Then, Luo De turned to look at Frost.
Understanding the cue, Frost immediately crouched down to let Vivian ride up.
A proud dragon wouldn’t let anyone ride it easily, but with Luo De’s intimidation, both Frost and Thunder had to obey obediently.
Of course, Luo De also promised Frost and Thunder he wouldn’t let others ride them easily.
"Remember to hold tight, no one can help you if you fall."
Luo De reminded Vivian.
"Mm-hmm!"
Vivian suddenly became quiet, obviously a little nervous.
Although she could be revived after death, falling from the sky was still quite a terrifying thing.
Vivian clumsily climbed onto Frost’s back, mimicking Luo De by holding on to the sides of Frost’s neck.
"Are you ready?" Luo De asked.
Vivian nodded vigorously.
"Let’s go!"
At Luo De’s command, the two dragons flapped their wings and took off, while the earth dragon Rock Ridge ran swiftly across the ground.
Frost and Thunder broke through the mist, soaring high into the sky, and the blurred outline of Black Pine Ridge gradually came into view.
Luo De looked down at the ground below, his eyes reflecting a scene full of early spring vitality.
