Chapter 2120: Chapter 2120: I Was the One Who Suggested Breaking Up

She didn’t want to hear his accusations; she wanted to hear his thoughts.

The rain was icy cold. When the wind blew, the light rain fell on her face, cold and chilly.

She stood there feeling a bit tired, leaning against the wall, finding a slightly more comfortable position.

The raindrops splattered onto the ground ahead, bouncing up like shattered jade, like dancing elves, carrying a bit of muddy earth.

"I’m downstairs from your building, I’ll wait for you for only two hours. If I don’t see you after two hours, we’re breaking up." Sylvan Cheney’s tone was very displeased, tyrannical and unreasonable.

Jasmine Yale didn’t expect that a few photos would provoke him so greatly.

She chuckled awkwardly, "CEO, do you think I’m fooling you, or do you think I’m in Cakago?"

"I don’t care where you are." 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

"CEO, fine, the breakup was your suggestion."

Jasmine Yale’s eyes were serene, calm as still water, her gaze landing on the muddy ground ahead.

The soil was drenched by the rain, turning into a dark brown color, and the yard was full of various potted plants, faintly emanating a subtle fragrance.

The yard was indeed lush green, even though it was rainy, those green leaves were still vibrant and pleasing to the eye.

Silence on the other end.

Jasmine Yale continued, "CEO, we’ve only known each other for just over three months, but the length of time doesn’t fully determine the nature of a relationship, nor is it a foundation for you to casually doubt me. If you don’t trust me, then you won’t believe every word I say, or every punctuation mark. If you insist on breaking up, I respect your choice. But you need to think it through; after the breakup, we..."

"Jasmine Yale, I hate it when you lecture me like this. On what grounds can you lecture me? Yes, I suggested the breakup, so what?"

"Then let’s break up."

After saying this, Jasmine cut off the call.

She didn’t want to argue with him.

A gust of wind lifted the rain, falling on Jasmine Yale’s face, cold and chilling.

Her eyes held a deep sheen, flickering and fading.

She really disliked this side of Sylvan Cheney, like an unruly little wolf dog, so biting even she couldn’t handle it.

Her heart was in turmoil, her breath unsteady, Jasmine Yale’s heart was racing, carrying a sullen feeling, possibly due to the weather.

Before she could react, her phone chimed; Sylvan Cheney had sent her a message—

"You call it quits just like that, you don’t have any feelings for me!"

Breaking up just like that? No feelings?

"Jasy!" Chale Cheney suddenly appeared, raising his head, his little hand tugging at her sleeve, "Jasy, who’s arguing with you?"

Jasmine Yale quickly put away her phone, wiped away the bewildered expression in her eyes, and smiled at Chale Cheney: "No one, Jasy doesn’t argue with others."

"Jasy doesn’t argue with people, but some people might trouble Jasy." Chale Cheney frowned, looking like a small grown-up, "If someone bullies Jasy, Jasy has to tell me."

"If I tell you, what will you do?" Jasmine teased him.

Chale Cheney thought for a moment: "Baby’s Taekwondo is very good, I’ll beat him up, is that okay?"

"Hmm, that’s fine."

Chale Cheney grabbed Jasmine Yale’s cold hand, "Jasy, let’s go home; it’s cold outside, it’s warm at home. I just finished stacking the building blocks."

"Jasy, come take a look."

Jasmine Yale let the little guy lead her into the house.

As soon as she stepped inside, she saw the carefully stacked building blocks on the floor, neat and meticulously done.

The little guy’s attitude towards things seemed to have inherited Sylvan Cheney’s rigor, luckily he didn’t inherit his temper.

Sylvan Cheney’s temper, truly awful.
