Seeing his demeanor, Wen Ran’s heart was filled with softness, a touch of warmth spread across her brow and eyes. She answered gently, “Hmm, I am always with you.”
A smile spread across Mo Xiuchen’s lips, making him instantly handsome. He helped her up from the bed and said, smiling, “You should go do what you need to.”
Wen Ran nodded, got up from the bed, and quickly went into the bathroom.
Mo Xiuchen watched her retreating figure until she disappeared behind the bathroom door. Thinking about how she had stayed by his side all this while filled his heart with sweetness.
His Ranran was true to her words. When she made a promise, she would keep it. He had always firmly believed this.
He knew that since she had promised to stay by his side, she wouldn’t think about leaving anymore. With this thought, he got off the bed and walked towards the bathroom.
Reaching the bathroom door, he didn’t knock nor did he push the door open. He just stood tall and silent by the door.
When Wen Ran came out and saw Mo Xiuchen standing outside the door, she thought he needed to use the bathroom. She smiled and said, “Go ahead.”
Mo Xiuchen chuckled softly, took her slender and soft hand in his, “I am waiting for you here.”
Wen Ran looked up in surprise. Her wide, bright eyes met his narrow ones brimming with amusement. She suddenly felt her heart flutter, and a strong sense of warmth seemed to travel from her palm right into her heart.

In the following days, Mo Xiuchen and Wen Ran spent their time joyfully.
He didn’t go to work but spent his entire days with her, taking her out to play.
Wen Ran, having unburdened herself and accompanied by her deeply affectionate husband, was naturally in high spirits. Her pretty face was filled with radiant smiles.
After spending two days at a scenic spot near G City, on their way home that night, Mo Xiuchen was driving, and Wen Ran was snoozing in the passenger seat.
The closed car was filled with soft music, creating a warm and peaceful atmosphere. From time to time, Mo Xiuchen would look at Wen Ran through the rearview mirror, a satisfied smile playing on his sexy lips.
The sudden ring of the cell phone broke the tranquility. Wen Ran, who hadn’t fallen asleep, slowly opened her eyes upon hearing the sound.
Mo Xiuchen glanced at her with a smile and answered the phone, asking casually, “Hello?”
As soon as he finished speaking, Luo Haofeng’s voice rang out in the car, “Mo Xiuchen, have you and Wen Ran returned yet?”

Mo Xiuchen looked at Luo Haofeng and the others, he then looked down at Wen Ran by his side, only to see her looking towards the right. Following her gaze, he finally noticed Bai Xiaoxiao and Xiao Yuting on the right.
A glimmer of understanding flickered in his characteristic narrow eyes. He narrowed them slightly and said significantly, “No wonder Ah Feng asked us to hurry. So that’s why. How did Bai Xiaoxiao end up with Xiao Yuting?”
Hearing his words, Wen Ran looked up, confusion written all over her face.
She didn’t know either.
Xiaoxiao’s leg had been recovering well recently, but because of her own issues with Mo Xiuchen, she hadn’t paid much attention to Xiaoxiao during this period.
How she ended up with Xiao Yuting, she really had no idea.
“I’m going to go check on them.”

Sitting opposite her, Xiao Yuting looked at her, his gaze less cold than usual, but filled with warmth. He didn’t know why, but after this girl, who had followed him for over twenty years, left him, he found it hard to get used to it.
