Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot-Chapter 562 - 561: If You Can’t Stand Me, Then Get Lost
It seems that this man is indeed a formidable opponent. And not just Maxwell Peary’s formidable opponent either.
"Fiona Sutton, come sit down! You got a boyfriend and didn’t even tell us?" Julia Adams was smiling, all apparent generosity and grace, yet it made one want to slap her.
Fiona wouldn’t be as polite to her as Nia Mitchell was.
"What the hell are you laughing at? Whether I have a boyfriend or not is none of your damn business!" Fiona rolled her eyes at her, then plopped down into a seat without a care.
"Fiona, how can you be so rude?"
Julia Adams frowned, thoroughly annoyed by Fiona’s way of speaking. She had initially assumed that with Fiona’s boyfriend present, Fiona would at least show some restraint—or at least pretend to have some decorum if she naturally lacked it! Julia had even been planning to tease Fiona about acting differently tonight, hoping to provoke her into revealing her true, unrefined nature. Well, there was no need for that now; Fiona had always been this brazen.
"I’ve always been like this. What, can’t stand it? If you can’t stand it, then get lost."
Would Fiona be polite to Julia? Hmph.
However, her behavior annoyed everyone present.
"Fiona, Julia is just concerned about you. How can you talk like that?"
Fiona shot a disdainful look at the boy who had spoken up for Julia, her expression one of utter disgust. "Mind your own damn business! What, you like Julia? Then go pursue her! You’re defending her even though you can’t win her over? Are you nuts? You think she’ll like you for this?"
Give me a break. It’s plain to see what kind of person Julia Adams is.
Fiona’s words successfully infuriated the boy.
BANG! The boy slammed his chopsticks on the table and shot to his feet.
"Fiona, you fucking dare say that again!"
"What the hell? You want me to say it again? Fine! You think I’m scared of you? There’s nothing I’m afraid of!" Fiona slammed her hand on the table. "Trying to see who’s tougher, are we? Then let’s see who’s really tougher!"
Fiona’s demeanor could indeed intimidate many people, including many of her classmates.
Yancy Hastings secretly shook his head. Tsk, to think there was such a woman in this world. How could she be so... He didn’t even know what words to use to describe her. Yet, even though his heart was filled with disgust and disdain, he still felt inexplicably drawn to her. This was truly bizarre!
Yancy Hastings was so preoccupied with observing and his own shock that he didn’t say anything to help Fiona.
A man shouldn’t waste time on verbal squabbles. If that guy actually dared to lay a hand on Fiona, he would absolutely be the first to intervene. But if it was just a war of words, he wouldn’t get involved. This was Yancy Hastings’s principle, and what he considered the proper conduct for a man.
"Everyone, let’s just say a little less. Fiona, sit down." Charles Northwood spoke up. Fiona was just hot-tempered, not malicious.
Hearing Charles Northwood’s words, Yancy Hastings glanced at him but remained seated, motionless.
Fiona struggled to suppress her anger, then sat down and glanced at Yancy Hastings beside her. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
Freeloader! Fiona had already slapped that label on Yancy Hastings. Watching him sit there, his back ramrod straight, she also thought he was far too serious.
"You go settle the bill."
A brilliant idea struck her, and Fiona kicked Yancy under the table.
Yancy Hastings looked up at Fiona. He’d never once had to pay a bill at the Royal Dynasty. And this girl was actually asking *him* to settle it?
"Nia, do I need to settle the bill?" Without saying anything to anyone else, Yancy Hastings directly turned his gaze to Nia Mitchell.
