The harsh words had been spoken. The manager had made his decision. Since Chairman Zhu had chosen to oppose those two young ladies, he knew he had to pick a side. He still resolved to choose the one with a stronger backer. If these two young women really are frauds, I’ll just have to accept the consequences, he thought. Offending Chairman Zhu would mean losing his job, and at worst, he’d just return to his hometown; he had some savings, after all. But offending Young Master Peary? He might very well lose his life.

Chairman Zhu clearly hadn’t expected the manager to say such things. The meaning was obvious: the manager was telling him to get lost.

Such audacity!

"You dare to try and kick me out? You’ve got some nerve! It’s clear you don’t want to work here anymore. Fine, I’ll grant your wish."

Saying this, Chairman Zhu took out his mobile phone and made a call.

"I’m telling you, what’s wrong with your store manager? How dare he try to kick me out and side with others to make things difficult for me..."

Chairman Zhu went on for a while before handing his phone to the manager.

"Answer it."

The manager hesitated, then reached out and took the phone.

His professional composure prevented the manager from cursing or saying anything else. He simply stood there and accepted his boss’s decision.

"Hmph!" Chairman Zhu sneered, taking back his phone and looking at the manager with a haughty expression. "Don’t you even understand the saying ’a good dog doesn’t block the way’? Now, hurry up, pack your things, and get out."

Nia Mitchell, sitting nearby, couldn’t watch any longer. She’d never imagined Chairman Zhu could be so detestable.

"Hey! What do you think you’re doing?" Nia frowned at the man.

Chairman Zhu was all smiles, his eyes lecherously fixed on Nia.

At first, I thought these two were quite ordinary, Chairman Zhu mused, but looking closely, their skin, their figures... they’re absolutely top-tier. I didn’t realize they were such hidden treasures.

"Nothing, nothing, young lady. Do you have a boyfriend?"

Huh? Nia was stunned for a moment, not quite processing what Chairman Zhu meant. A boyfriend? What does whether I have one or not have to do with him?ŸŸŸ
