Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot-Chapter 726 - 725: Tastes good? Throw it away!
"Oh no!"
Instantly, Nia Mitchell’s face turned beet red. So, he saw everything just now. AAAAH! How embarrassing.
"I didn’t forget."
Nia, flustered, turned her head and glared at the CEO, then scurried off to grab her clothes.
She was too shy to even look at Maxwell Peary and went straight into the bathroom.
Seeing her like this, Maxwell Peary shook his head and continued with what he was doing.
By the time Nia Mitchell came out of the bathroom, Maxwell Peary had already made the bed and was taking a shower in the Guest Room.
Nia Mitchell emerged from the bathroom. Not seeing the CEO, she blinked.
She picked up the cotton candy from the table, opened the wrapper, and started eating it as she went to find him.
If he’s not in the Main Bedroom, then maybe he’s in the study. If he’s not in the study, then I should go downstairs.
And so, Nia Mitchell headed to the Living Room, munching on her cotton candy.
The butler couldn’t help but smile when he saw Nia Mitchell’s happy face.
"So, the Young Master was buying cotton candy for Miss."
Nia Mitchell bit her lip and chuckled.
Frederick Goldsmith’s eyes crinkled in amusement. Who would’ve imagined the Young Master would resort to such tactics to please a girl? He would never have imagined it.
"The Young Master ordered a bit of dinner from the kitchen just now. Miss, would you like to have some?"
Nia Mitchell paused from eating her cotton candy. Dinner? Isn’t Uncle supposed to be at a dinner party? Why would he prepare dinner?
"Okay, I’ll just have a bowl of porridge."
Nia Mitchell nodded. As soon as she finished speaking, she heard footsteps behind her.
Turning her head, she saw Maxwell Peary walking down the stairs slowly, drying his hair with a towel.
"Uncle, you haven’t had dinner?" Nia Mitchell immediately asked.
Maxwell Peary paused his towel-drying, a hint of warmth in his gaze. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
"Mm."
After acknowledging her, he walked to her side and took the half-eaten cotton candy from her.
"Eat less of this stuff."
With that, he tossed it in an arc, and the cotton candy landed accurately in the trash can nearby.
Nia Mitchell: !!!!!
"AH!"
"Uncle!"
Nia Mitchell’s face flushed with anger. How could he do this? After promising to let me eat it, he just threw it away without a word! What a waste! So out of line!
"It’s not clean."
Maxwell Peary frowned. He had hesitated when buying it, resisting the urge to throw it away the entire journey. Now, seeing that Nia Mitchell had eaten some, he felt it was fine to discard it.
"What do you mean it’s not clean? How could you throw it away!"
Nia Mitchell couldn’t help but smack Maxwell Peary’s shoulder, thoroughly displeased. This was too much, way too much!
"You’ve already had some, haven’t you?" Does she need to finish the entire thing to be satisfied? Isn’t tasting a bit of it enough?
Nia Mitchell huffed, not wanting to talk to him anymore, and went straight to the Dining Hall.
The table in the Dining Hall was laden with food. Even though the CEO had only asked for a little, the kitchen staff hadn’t dared to be neglectful.
Nia Mitchell, who was still angry, found her anger subsiding as she looked at the spread of food. It wasn’t because she saw her favorite dishes. It was because... her heart suddenly ached for him. The CEO hadn’t had dinner yet! And despite not having dinner, he still remembered the cotton candy he had promised her.
