Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot-Chapter 751 - 750: You...You’re Acting Like a Rogue
Damn it! Maxwell Peary’s brows knitted together tightly, the veins near his temples throbbing.
This little Rabina Mitchell was so stubborn.
"Nia Mitchell, stand your ground!"
Watching her march forward unceasingly, her stride quickening.
Maxwell Peary jogged a few steps to catch up with her and, without a word, scooped her up around the waist.
"Ah! What are you doing!!"
A princess-carry! Oh my gosh.
Nia Mitchell’s face turned beet red. Her little feet kicked in the air as she hoped the CEO would put her down.
"If you won’t let me carry you on my back, then I’ll have to carry you like this."
His voice was teasingly light, tinged with playful amusement.
Nia Mitchell pouted, tilting her head back to look at the CEO. From this angle, her view was mostly filled by his resolute profile and that chiseled jawline she couldn’t help but want to take a bite out of.
"Uncle, I can walk by myself."
She lowered her voice, knowing her protests were useless.
She could feel the gazes of those around them. She felt a bit shy, but even more so, deeply moved.
Maxwell Peary had always been indifferent to the opinions of others, always doing as he pleased.
Beside them, a laughing couple walked by. The woman kept staring at the CEO.
"Oh my god! He’s so handsome!"
The woman’s eyes sparkled. She wished she were the one being carried.
"Stop looking and let’s go."
The man’s expression darkened instantly, and he reached out to pull his girlfriend away.
"Don’t pull! I want to watch a bit longer. Look at him, so manly!"
The woman slapped his hand away and continued to stare at the CEO.
Oh my god, you can’t compare. You just can’t. The contrast is too disheartening.
"Fine, watch all you want. I’m leaving."
The man, furious and exasperated, couldn’t pull his girlfriend away, so he stormed off, his face flushed with anger.
Seeing this, the woman immediately averted her gaze, not sparing the CEO another glance, and hurried after her boyfriend.
"Don’t be so petty! Fine, next time you’re looking at pretty women, I’ll let you look a little longer!"
The sound of their receding voices faded, and a smile gradually spread across Nia Mitchell’s face.
That kind of love should be envied by others.
"What are you smiling about?"
Maxwell Peary glanced down at Nia Mitchell as he stepped into the hotel.
"Put me down."
Nia Mitchell struggled to get down, but the CEO didn’t loosen his grip.
"Not yet."
With that, Maxwell Peary carried her straight into the elevator.
"Press the button for the thirteenth floor."
Nia Mitchell paused, pouted, and extended a small hand to press the elevator button.
"We’re already inside the elevator. Why haven’t you put me down yet?"
We’re obviously here, yet he still says we’re not. Where on earth does he consider ’arrived’ to be? 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
As if he had heard the question welling up in her heart, Maxwell Peary looked at her, the corners of his lips curving into a smile.
"When we reach our big bed, that’s when we’ve truly arrived."
Hah!
Instantly, Nia Mitchell felt all the blood rush to her face.
A burning heat washed over her, and in her shyness, Nia Mitchell didn’t know what to do with her hands.
"You . . . you’re being indecent!"
After holding it in for a long moment, that was all she could manage to say.
Maxwell Peary raised an eyebrow. This is considered indecent? He hadn’t even started doing anything truly indecent yet.
Upon reaching the room, Maxwell Peary carried her directly to the large bed and placed her on it.
He turned, casually unfastened his cufflinks, placed them aside, and then headed towards the bathroom.
"You sit there and don’t move."
He didn’t forget to command the disobedient little woman.
Nia Mitchell pouted, sitting there and swinging her little feet.
Even if he told her to move, she wouldn’t want to, okay? She flopped right back. Ah, so soft and comfortable!
