Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot-Chapter 762 - 761: Young Master Peary is So Domineering
Maxwell Peary ignored the ruckus from Nia Mitchell, turning to look at Aldy Mitchell, who was lying in bed.
"I’ve already inquired about his condition," Maxwell Peary stated. "If it’s convenient for you, he can be transferred within the next couple of days. Capital Town has a hospital with excellent medical facilities."
He immediately returned to the matter at hand, not having forgotten why he had come.
Upon hearing this, Molly Harguez’s face immediately lit up with joy.
"That would really be a great help, Young Master Peary."
In all her years, she had never visited Capital Town. This was a great opportunity, a chance to witness the splendor of a big city. I must go and see for myself what the difference is between Capital Town and this place!
Maxwell Peary didn’t respond but looked down solemnly at Aldy Mitchell.
"What do you say?" he asked him, as one man to another.
Aldy Mitchell was startled. He hadn’t anticipated Maxwell Peary would interact with him this way. This is exactly the kind of life I’ve always wanted—to be treated with respect!
"As long as my health permits, I can go at any time."
After all, he was still a high school student and eager to regain his health.
Maxwell Peary nodded, took out his cell phone, and made a call.
"Lewis, get in touch with First People’s Hospital in Capital Town. We have a patient who will be transferred there in the next couple of days. His medical records will be sent over later. Also, have someone clean the villa near my hospital."
After hanging up, Maxwell Peary turned to look at Nia Mitchell.
"Will you stay here with them or come back to the hotel with me?"
Maxwell Peary undoubtedly had other matters to attend to; he was merely here to handle this specific situation.
"Sister, stay here. I want to chat with you," Aldy Mitchell suddenly spoke up.
Nia Mitchell swallowed the words she was about to utter and looked apologetically at Maxwell Peary.
"You go ahead. I’ll come over later and join you for lunch."
Maxwell Peary nodded without saying anything more.
At that moment, the commander of the D City Military District suddenly arrived.
"Young Master Peary?"
He had been away on official business and had rushed back overnight. Upon seeing Maxwell Peary, he saluted him.
His extremely respectful demeanor left everyone somewhat baffled. Maxwell Peary is just a businessman, why would even a military commander salute him? Nia Mitchell frowned, completely puzzled. She wasn’t the only one; the other three people in the room were also thoroughly perplexed by this.
"What is it?" Maxwell Peary didn’t avoid them, asking directly.
"I heard that you were in D City, Young Master Peary, and that an unpleasant incident occurred. I sincerely apologize for that."
The commander, standing opposite, was exceedingly respectful and seemed quite fearful of Maxwell Peary.
Maxwell Peary said nothing. If the commander had merely come to offer compliments, he had no intention of engaging.
"Leave."
With that one curt word, Maxwell Peary turned and was the first to leave the room.
Uhh... Nia Mitchell’s mouth twitched, as if a murder of crows had just flown overhead.
The commander was left speechless. So, this is Young Master Peary’s charisma. Just like the rumors say—so cold-hearted and domineering. Truly astonishing. However, he definitely has the capital to be this arrogant. I’m not angry in the slightest; in fact, I find it completely natural.
He then looked up, his gaze settling on Nia Mitchell for a few seconds before he averted his eyes.
"I’m sorry for the interruption," he said.
After another respectful salute, the commander turned and left, thoughtfully closing the ward door behind him.
