Flash Marriage With Mr. Sheffield: Go Away, Cheap Man!-Chapter 163: Enchanting Night
Silas Sheffield lowered his head, his face close to Clara Sterling’s, lightly blowing in her ear, sending a tingle down her spine. His voice was deep, "Isn’t the night scenery here beautiful?"
Clara Sterling hummed softly, "Very beautiful."
"This is our wedding house." Silas Sheffield’s magnetic voice murmured in her ear, carrying a certain temptation.
"Mm." Clara Sterling’s back rested against his chest, her body softly nestled in his embrace.
Hearing those two words from Silas Sheffield, scenes of their indulgent moments together naturally surfaced in her mind.
The fierce river breeze tousled her hair, much like her chaotic heartbeat.
"Do you want to do it here, hmm?" His scorching lips kissed the back of her neck again.
He spoke ambiguously, but she understood.
Clara Sterling’s heart pounded fiercely, and she felt nervous.
Though these were all single villas and the distance between them was quite far, they were still outside.
"Let’s go back inside." Her cheeks flushed, her heart beating rapidly.
"Enjoy the night view." The man’s large hand gripped her waist.
The instant they touched, Clara Sterling felt her blood boil, and her mind went blank.
Across the river, the buildings were still performing a light show, the patterns unpredictably stunning and magnificent.
A cruise ship gently sailed by on the river, its whistle long and melodious.
They stood there on the villa’s terrace...
Initially, she found it hard to accept, even resisted, for over twenty years she had been a well-behaved girl following the rules; she never even dared to think of such things.
But now, half-pushed, half-yielding, she sank together with Silas Sheffield...
Clara Sterling never thought that one day she would do something so bold with a man.
Both were fully clothed, appearing normal, just a man embracing a woman from behind as they leaned on the railing, admiring the night view.
However, only they knew just how heart-racing tonight’s view was.
Afterwards, Clara Sterling’s face was flushed hot, a thin layer of sweat on her body.
They had both just showered and sweated again, so they returned to the bathroom to shower.
After showering, lying in bed, Clara Sterling still felt restless.
Tonight Silas Sheffield gave her an experience she’d never had before.
Sophie Sheffield always liked sharing romance novels with her; some characters enjoyed being outdoors or in cars, Sophie would talk about it with relish, and Clara would listen, heart pounding and face flushed.
Before, she didn’t understand why anyone would enjoy being outside; now she understood.
Silas Sheffield held her tightly from behind, releasing a contented sigh, "I plan to move the company headquarters to Veridian, so I can stay there with you."
Clara Sterling would eventually follow Warren Cheney to learn and conduct experiments, and Yvonne Sterling’s illness would receive better post-surgery treatment in Veridian, so it was likely Clara would settle there long-term.
The Sheffield headquarters was in Crestwood, and Silas Sheffield couldn’t always stay in Veridian, running back and forth wasn’t convenient.
"Alright." Clara Sterling, feeling exhausted from the night’s events, lay weakly in bed, "When do you plan to move?"
Silas Sheffield gave a gentle kiss on her shoulder blade, "I’ll call tomorrow to inform them to prepare for the relocation; the soonest would be the end of next month."
"Okay."
Clara Sterling closed her eyes, and soon fell asleep.
In her dream, the scene on the terrace with Silas Sheffield played out again, only this time, she didn’t hold back nor worry about anyone seeing them, as if she knew it was a dream, her actions and voice were bold.
Though it was a dream, the sensations felt so real, heat spreading all over her body.
Upon opening her eyes, the first thing she saw was Silas Sheffield’s flawless face.
The room was bright, clearly morning had arrived.
Silas Sheffield leaned against the headboard, gazing down at her, a hint of a smile in his deep eyes.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
Silas Sheffield’s lips curled, "You were talking in your sleep just now."
"What?"
Thinking of the images in her dream, Clara Sterling’s face reddened. Could she have said something embarrassing?
Silas Sheffield chuckled, staring at her face intently, in a great mood, "What were you dreaming about?"
"..." Clara Sterling pursed her lips and didn’t speak.
This dream was not something she could talk about.
"Even if you don’t say, I can guess." Silas Sheffield smiled, teasing her, "You were calling my name in your sleep, saying to be gentle."
"You misheard!" Clara Sterling’s sleepiness vanished instantly, her sleepy eyes suddenly clear, blushing all the way to her ears, "I couldn’t have said something that shameless!"
"What’s so embarrassing about being gentle, hmm?" Silas Sheffield beamed, leaning down, nose to nose with her.
Their closeness suddenly made the atmosphere tense and intimate.
"You’re doing this on purpose." Clara Sterling glared at him, exasperated, "Who said you were aloof? They should come see you now, not a hint of aloofness at all."
Silas Sheffield’s expression became more serious, with a touch of sincerity, "I’m only like this with you."
Clara Sterling met his gaze, the morning sunlight streaming through his eyes, his usually cold eyes were now tender and affectionate.
Clara Sterling’s heart skipped a beat.
Even though they had been through the most intimate moments, knew each other inside out, whenever she met his passionate gaze, her cheeks would still flush and her heart would race, much like when she first had a crush on him.
Clara Sterling’s crimson lips pressed into a straight line, after a moment of contemplation, she whispered, "Did I really talk in my sleep?"
Silas Sheffield stifled his laughter, "Mm, and not just once."
Clara Sterling closed her eyes in resignation, "How mortifying."
Silas Sheffield’s voice carried a smile, "It’s fine, as long as I know, it’s not embarrassing."
Clara Sterling cast a resentful glance, "Stop it, I have some pride."
Silas Sheffield’s long, pale finger gently brushed her lips, his gaze deepening, "Let me help you, hmm?"
"What?" Clara Sterling was puzzled.
Silas Sheffield breathed softly by her ear, his voice husky and enticing, "Isn’t reality more enjoyable than dreams?"
Clara Sterling’s mind was in turmoil, she didn’t dare meet his eyes, "Today is Grandma’s eightieth birthday, we should get up early, don’t delay things..."
She sat up intending to dress, but was pulled back by Silas Sheffield, falling into his embrace, "What’s the rush? The birthday celebration is in the evening, we have plenty of time..."
