Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself-Chapter 73 - 83 This Girl is Very Special
Chapter 73: Chapter 83 This Girl is Very Special
An Ran felt frustrated. She had already brought sugar and milk; what else did this old man want? Luckily, they were the only customers in the coffee shop at the moment.
Even though she was unwilling, she still had to go over: "What can I do for you, sir?"
"Please give me another packet of sugar."
"More sugar? You just added one packet." An Ran kindly reminded him.
"It’s bitter."
Well, An Ran suddenly had the feeling that she was shooting herself in the foot.
"Alright, please wait a moment."
An Ran went to the counter and grabbed another packet of sugar for him.
"Is it really that bitter?" Lin Ruonan felt a bit sorry for Mu Xingfeng. How bitter must it be to make this cold and distant man repeatedly ask the waiter for sugar? She thought and then said: "How about changing to another cup? My latte is quite good."
"No need," Mu Xingfeng didn’t like the strong milk flavor of lattes. Besides, he didn’t mind the bitterness of ESP. On the contrary, he usually enjoyed ordering ESP here. He loved its strong taste and the sensation of it hitting his taste buds; he was hooked with just one try.
After An Ran handed the sugar to Mu Xingfeng, two more people entered from outside, and An Ran rushed over to them as if seeing her saviors.
"Hello, welcome! Please follow me."
The newcomers were a man and a woman. The man wore gold-rimmed glasses and looked gentle and refined. The woman had a fiery figure and wavy hair.
They walked one after another; the man in front and the woman half a step behind. When they saw An Ran approaching, the woman coyly took two quick steps forward, positioning herself between the man and An Ran.
"Xuanxuan, darling, what would you like to drink?" After they sat down, the man asked attentively.
"Two cappuccinos, please." The woman spoke, looking every bit like a haughty queen.
"Xuanxuan, I want Blue Mountain." The man said softly.
"Blue Mountain? Xu Cheng, do you have so much money that you need to drink such expensive coffee? Besides, can this kind of café really have authentic Blue Mountain? You’d be paying to be fooled." The woman cast him a sidelong glance and said mockingly.
Initially, An Ran didn’t care about their argument, but hearing the woman accuse the café of selling fake goods, An Ran couldn’t stay silent: "Miss, our Blue Mountain coffee is made from imported Jamaica Blue Mountain beans, and there is absolutely no counterfeit."
"See? The young lady here says it’s genuine." The man quickly echoed her words.
The woman rolled her eyes dramatically: "She says it’s real, so it’s real? Since when does a seller ever claim they’re selling fakes? Xu Cheng, is your brain made of tofu? Enough, I said cappuccinos, so cappuccinos it is. Why argue so much? I can’t stand your spineless demeanor."
The man reluctantly looked apologetically at An Ran: "Miss, two cappuccinos, please."
"Alright, please wait a moment." An Ran nodded with a smile. The coffee shop encounters all kinds of people every day; there was no need to take such people seriously.
A little while later, after bringing the two cappuccinos, An Ran stood by the side of the bar, still observing the weird tension at Mu Xingfeng’s table.
She couldn’t figure out what the woman’s job was; her upright posture was even more impeccable than that of the professional team member Mu Xingfeng.
Seemingly feeling An Ran’s gaze, Mu Xingfeng suddenly turned his head towards the bar.
Startled, An Ran quickly looked at another table, only to find the man there also looking in her direction.
They exchanged glances; the man’s eyes momentarily dodged, then he looked back at An Ran and gently raised his arm: "Waiter, give me a packet of sugar."
