Chapter 920: Chapter 505 Seems Like the Dragon God is Back_2

“Delivery Magic Circle? Go five minutes empty-handed, Principal, can you do it?” Tiguli quietly approached Grey and asked.

Grey shook her head, “I can’t even last thirty seconds, so you have never heard of anyone being able to hand-craft a Delivery Magic Circle and get transported. Thirty seconds is not enough for the other end to connect to the Delivery Magic Circle.”

Teleportation Arrays can be brief because teleportation is an instant matter, but Delivery Magic Circles cannot be brief, since they are for receiving, needing the sending end to connect first before anything can be delivered.

Anthony had also conjured a Delivery Magic Circle previously, but that was because he had a Soul Contact with Ange, making the speed of position linking fast, which didn’t require much solidity; a few dozen seconds would suffice.

Ordinary durations often represent insurmountable gaps.

Durken rubbed his messy hair and said, “I almost couldn’t locate it. There are too many teleportation arrays in this Plane, many of which are open…”

While saying this, he looked around and finally his gaze landed on the Stone Giant Dragon suspended above the abyss, “Dragon Lock Chain?”

Abuke popped his Dragon Head out and corrected, “It’s the Eternal Stone Chain Lock, don’t talk nonsense.”

“What nonsense? This is the Dragon Lock Chain, something I invented, unrelated to petrification,” Durken said.

Negris burst out laughing on the spot, “Pfft, your own invention and you’re told you’re talking nonsense, haha… Uh, wait, why is it called Dragon Lock Chain?”

Durken scratched his head awkwardly, “Back then, Locke wanted to catch a Dragon Head and asked me to make something that could lock a dragon, so I made one, but it was never used.”

“Kvada! You made it to lock me up, you jerk!” Negris was so angry he nearly jumped out to hit someone, as the dragon Locke had gone to capture was itself.

Durken chuckled awkwardly, “Well, it wasn’t used after all, don’t be mad, don’t be mad.”

Only after much effort did they placate the enraged Bronze Dragon, and then Durken asked, “What happened? Where is this? Why did you call me here?”

Anthony Nage was surprised, “Didn’t the Great One tell you?”

Durken chuckled, “The Great One made it too complex, you give me a detailed explanation.”

Okay, everyone understood. With Ange’s habit of speaking word by word, only Negris could understand what he was saying. Normally, everyone needed Negris to translate.

Sigh, it wasn’t always like this. In the past, Ange would speak sentences longer than six words. Maybe he’s become lazier since he had a translator.

Anthony gave a detailed explanation of the situation, and only then did Durken look at the Stone Giant Dragon hanging above and say, “The petrification has nothing to do with the Dragon Lock Chain; it must have been petrified by something else.”

Just then, a stone suddenly tumbled down from the top of the cave.

The Dragon Soul suddenly tensed up and, while everyone was looking up, it tried to quietly dissipate.

But as soon as he moved, the Great Angel’s Staff was already positioned in front of him, with Little Angel looking at him enthusiastically, and Little Zombie poised to try.

Dragon Soul, in despair, gave up all his moves, listlessly floating there. Everyone in front of him was abnormal; it seemed hopeless to escape from their clutches.

The top of the cave was very high and had many cracks. A rope dangled from one of the cracks as a small figure climbed down, the fragments that had fallen probably kicked loose by him.

Holding onto a thin rope without any safety measures, the small figure barehanded and carefully descended step by step, causing onlookers to sweat for him.

Anthony turned and asked, “Do you recognize him?”

Abuke disheartened, said, “My Dragon’s Lackey, I hope you won’t hurt him.”

Negris said irritably, “What do you mean ‘your Dragon’s Lackey’? If it’s a Dragon’s Lackey, then it’s not yours. That’s a Black Dragon Corpse.”

“I am the Black Dragon, and the Black Dragon is me. He is my Dragon’s Lackey,” Abuke stubbornly insisted.

No one else spoke, they all watched the Little Dragon as he climbed down, preventing him from falling.

However, the Dragon’s Lackey safely made it to the ground. He was a boy of about eleven or twelve years old. Though called a Dragon’s Lackey, he bore no obvious features of one and looked more like a normal human child.

After landing, he rubbed his sore hands and unloaded his pack, igniting a small flame with care and carefully shone it forward to see where the abyss was before he relaxed.

However, his small flame was only enough to light up his immediate surroundings; the group standing dozens of meters away, including Ange and the others, were invisible to him, indicating he lacked any sort of dark vision.

Assuring himself that the abyss was still ahead and that he wouldn’t accidentally step into the air and fall, the Little Dragon then took out the contents of his pack and arranged them in front of him, murmuring as he did so, “Ancestral Lord, I’ve come to see you again. How have you been lately?”

The voice of the Little Dragon echoed in the cavernous underground space.

“A lot has happened outside recently. I picked up some notices from the Mercenary Guild; I’ll read them to you in a bit.”

The Little Dragon finished placing the items from his pack. First, there was a half-meter-long dragon’s toe, polished smooth and glossy from possibly being coiled up for years, as sharp as if it had received a manicure.

Next was a dark Dragon Scale as large as half a child’s body, resembling a shield.

It clearly had been used as a shield, tied with some vines to form a handle on the back.

Lastly was a fist-sized Stone, also polished to a sheen.

With these three items laid out in front of him, the Little Dragon solemnly faced them, and facing the Stone Giant Dragon hanging over the abyss, he began to bow his head in homage:
